Who was/is a better face than a heel
Being that we are all part of the IWC which more often than not means we were fans of the heels growing up, who in your opinion was a better face than a heel.
I'll start: Shawn Michaels |
Austin
DDP
Becky Lynch
Hogan
Goldberg
Duggan
Dusty |
Sting
I think many will disagree but I’d say Foley. Amazing heel work but even better as a face.

He was pretty fun with Austin
Sandman

Lower down the card, but I always felt Test was better as a face. He had some decent babyface fire and he was always pretty bland and generic as a heel. I always thought his theme was a face theme too.
Big Bossman too. He was great as a heel, but he was mega over as a face. I can remember crowd going crazy in his feud with The Mountie and Nailz. He was crazy charismatic.

Macho Man Randy Savage

I 100% disagree with that.

Big Bubba Rogers in the houssseee

Lol he got 1986 George Steele over for God sakes.
I loved face Savage in the early 90s and I’m not as adamant as others would be but unhinged heel Savage can’t be topped.
Knew Savage was gonna be a controversial choice.... but for me, I just didn't want to hate the guy.... prob tied in with him being the top face out of my rassling toys
My “controversial” one would probably be Orton. Always liked him way more as a cool, cocky face. The RKO works WAY better as a face finisher too.

Oh, how’s that for a name? Yeah, there was some memorable heel stuff, but as a worker, Dustin is so damn good as a face. |
I HAAAAAAATED face Goldust

I remember when he turned face in 97. He was so bad. I also loved his stuff with Luna lol so there ya go. I admit I have terrible taste in wrestling haha

And didn't he turn back heel soon after? When was the stuff with Blue Meanie? Wrestlemania 15?
Yeah. There was a lot of change in a relatively short timeframe for Dustin. He was doing the “Artist Formally Known As” gimmick at the start of ‘98, was doing the whole “born again” deal in the summer, was back as Goldust in October, and turned heel with the Meanie thing in early ‘99.
I loved heel Goldust, far superior and one of my favourite characters of all time. The entrance was incredible and it was like nothing we had seen before in modern wrestling. Pushed the boundaries about as far as they would go and was pretty much must watch anytime he was on TV in that era.
Ken Shamrock was a better face I thought.
Face Goldust was ace alongside Booker T tho.

I thought Bulldog was a better face,

Savage is such a toss up. He was flawless as both
He was the best heel when Sherri was by his side.
