Whose time is it to be in the 2022 Hall of Fame class...

IT'S VADER'S TIME

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Vader will be inducted into the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame class 👏 <a href="https://t.co/iSWRWMM4bQ">pic.twitter.com/iSWRWMM4bQ</a></p>&mdash; B/R Wrestling (@BRWrestling) <a href="https://twitter.com/BRWrestling/status/1500850470822182914?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 7, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Jordan 03-07-2022 11:57 AM

WWE usually likes to have a sort of "draw" for the induction, I wonder who will be chosen for Vader?

Bad News Gertner 03-07-2022 12:12 PM

Sting would be perfect but probably not happening

Bad News Gertner 03-07-2022 12:14 PM

Nevermind

It needs to be Cory Matthews from Boy Meets World

Lock Jaw 03-07-2022 12:19 PM

They did have some all time classics

xrodmuc316 03-07-2022 01:10 PM

I would guess Mick Foley inducts him

Bad News Gertner 03-07-2022 01:13 PM

Cornette is another option

He wouldnt do it. Despite some covid restrictions being lifted, he still has no desire to be involved in any mass gatherings at the moment.

Ol Dirty Dastard 03-07-2022 01:34 PM

Fingers crossed for Stan Hansen to induct Vader.

That sounds like Cornette lol

Big Vic 03-07-2022 03:49 PM

HBK should do the induction.

Mr. Nerfect 03-07-2022 04:35 PM

Cornette would be awesome, but they’ll probably get someone like Mick Foley or even a celebrity to do it.

#1-norm-fan 03-07-2022 04:39 PM

If they threw enough money at Cornette, I bet he’d do it.

Not because he’s desperate but because WWE seems willing to toss a shitload of money around. And it would be good for the podcasts. I know he’s very much against going out for small gigs during a pandemic but a situation where he can fly back home the next morning for a big paycheck… I can see him saying “Fuck it.”

erickman 03-07-2022 05:29 PM

zeb colter or dutch would be good, i don't think he is pissed at wwe

But how would his son Frankie feel about that though?

Gerard 03-08-2022 08:09 PM

John Tenta

weather vane 03-08-2022 08:24 PM

Sid is next possibly…

xrodmuc316 03-08-2022 08:39 PM

Apparently there is some buzz about inducting the Steiner Brothers as the tag team this year. I get they are on great terms with Rick and his son, but how the hell are they going to give Scott a mic, he will burn that place to the ground.

If Sid goes in this year as well, Vane, then with Taker's induction, we will have all 14 men who used the WWF Winged Eagle World Championship in the Hall.

The list, in order of induction.

Andre the Giant(2nd user(1993))

Sgt. Slaughter(6th user(2004))

Hulk Hogan(1st/Charter user(2005))

Bret Hart(8th user(2006))

Ric Flair(7th user(2008(solo induction)))

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin(14th/Final user(2009))

Shawn Michaels(12th user(2011))

Yokozuna(9th user(2012))

Bob Backlund(10th user(2013))

The Ultimate Warrior(4th user(2014))

'Macho Man' Randy Savage(3rd user(2015))

Kevin 'Diesel' Nash(11th user(2015))

The UnderTaker(6th user(2022))

Sid?(13th user(2022?))

Which would warrant, to me, the Winged Eagle World Title be inducted itself into the Hall in the future with the late Reggie Parks. It'd be the perfect way to show gratitude to him.

o.o

#1-norm-fan 03-08-2022 10:23 PM

Reggie Parks being inducted would be great but I don’t know if it’s “flashy” enough for Vince to do it.

Jim Johnston too.

weather vane 03-08-2022 11:31 PM

The HOF pisses me off. That Legacy Wing..

Bad News Gertner 03-08-2022 11:54 PM

Scott: "GIVE ME A FUCKIN' MIC!"
Lawler: "Uh-oh!"

Damian Rey 2.0 03-09-2022 02:28 AM

Fucking finally

Mr. Nerfect 03-09-2022 04:59 AM

Could Brad Rheingans be who they choose to induct Vader?

Sid, Vader and Taker all used Powerbombs as finishers

I'm expecting Scott Norton to be next

Mr. Nerfect 03-09-2022 04:47 PM

Which women and black wrestlers used powerbombs as finishes?

Mr. Nerfect 03-09-2022 04:47 PM

Batista could keep the powerbomb theme going next year.

Mr. Nerfect 03-09-2022 04:49 PM

APA going in as a team?

Black wrestler. Keith Lee haha

Bad News Gertner 03-09-2022 05:17 PM

D Lo paralyzed Droz with a running powerbomb.

Bad News Gertner 03-09-2022 06:19 PM

Oh shit forgot about Sable

#1-norm-fan 03-09-2022 06:24 PM

I wonder if Droz ever goes in or if WWE is just like “We’ll help you out privately but let’s not shine a public light on your existence.”

Evil Vito 03-09-2022 06:57 PM

If they really do put in an all powerbomb class, the final entrant for the class needs to be Kidman.

The rumor for the rest of the 2022 HOF are SID, Steiner Brothers and Queen Sharmell

Bad News Gertner 03-09-2022 07:13 PM

That would be a hell of a class

Lock Jaw 03-09-2022 07:18 PM

Kurt Angle should induct Sharmell

Evil Vito 03-09-2022 07:35 PM

LOL Sharmell

That would manage to simultaneously be the most token black AND token female induction ever.

Ahmed Johnson's finish was kind of like a powerbomb, and he played for the Cowboys! Pearl River Plunge time!

weather vane 03-10-2022 10:54 AM

Sharmell? This HOF is wacky.

Fignuts 03-10-2022 12:49 PM

They have the unenviable task of including women for inclusivity's sake, when there are only a handful of women who had any signifigant impact before the "revolution".

I expect Kelly Kelly to get an induction at some point.

Fignuts 03-10-2022 12:50 PM

Honestly though, if Sharmell can get in for being a valet for a year, lets get Bull Nakano in already.

Fignuts 03-10-2022 02:53 PM

Im not sure Gail Kim wants to be in.

Bad News Gertner 03-10-2022 03:12 PM

Put Sable in

weather vane 03-10-2022 03:18 PM

Yeah there are much more deserving women than Paisley. Jesus.

To be absolutely fair, it isn't like Droz was around long enough to have a potentially Hall of Fame worthy career. WWE would have more of a basis to induct Shane Taylor at this point, and he's never wrestled there.

I honestly thought she was already in. This is not a joke of any kind, I thought they inducted her. They always refer to her as "legendary" and she never learned how to run ropes. Nobody getting in should surprise anyone, especially if they have a vagina and was on the roster at any time.

Maybe a "Warrior Award" would be more fitting.

Bad News Gertner 03-14-2022 10:48 AM

Droz had a WWE.com column for a long time after his injury.

XL 03-14-2022 11:13 AM

Sharmell confirmed.

Fignuts 03-14-2022 11:21 AM

lol

Probably not by typical Hall of Fame standards.

By WWE Hall of Fame standards at this point, Droz is Babe fucking Ruth. Lol

#1-norm-fan 03-20-2022 01:28 PM

Palmer Cannon should be a lock soon enough.

XL 03-20-2022 02:30 PM

Only if he’s inducted by the Minis Division.

wwe parades around cancer victims in the name of philanthropy but can't recognize a guy like droz who is humble and afaik didn't try to sue them for getting paralyzed in their ring. i say have d'lo induct him, wheel him out, bring on the waterworks. would be a really cool thing despite the obvious self-serving nature of it, but it really doesn't always matter how long you were there (obviously) or what you did, your accomplishments can easily be overshadowed (see: benwah) and who's to say what future droz may have had. deserves the honor as much as anyone, at least in my book

Lock Jaw 03-20-2022 03:44 PM

Yo yo yo yo IT'S CRYME TYME

Sepholio 03-20-2022 03:55 PM

Alabama Doink

Good for Shad’s family. I hope this leads to JTG talking with the company. And that they sign Fandango to be his partner. WWE could use some Dirty Sexy Boys.
