Scott Hall has passed away at age 63
Scott Hall is on life support after suffering several heart attacks last night, per a new report. Wade Keller of PW Torch reports that the WWE Hall of Famer had three heart attacks last night at a hospital in Marietta, Georgia and is now on life support.
Hall had hip replacement surgery last week, but according to the new report he had a serious complication caused by a blood clot getting loose. Hall is a two-time member of the Hall of Famer, both as a solo inductee through his WWE character Razor Ramon and as part of the now. Edit: Scott has sadly passed away |
:(:(:(
Fuck. Pull through Scott :(
Damn :'(
Not good.
Fuck! Three heart attacks :(
Yeah, you barely see anyone kick out of one
And that's why the Hart Foundation were two time World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions. |
God damn... :( :(
This fucking sucks.
Not good.
Very sad.
Just when he had turned his life around too. I really hope he can pull through this and enjoy the life he fought so hard to turn around a little more.
Damn :(
Scott Hall and Kevin Oats, the greatest of all time.

Very sad news. I know it doesn't look good but hope there is some way he can pull through this and at the very least I hope he is as comfortable as possible and not painfully suffering.
Kevin Nash said that he’ll be taken off life support once his family is ready.
Nooooo :(
As sad as all this is, there's something to be said for the last ten years or so - a decade ago, "Scott Hall on life support" is the kind of headline you wouldn't have been surprised to see every time you went online.
That he was able to get relatively healthy, reconnect with friends in the wrestling business, and have the third act of a Hall of Fame induction and regular appearances as a respected "legend", and to be around to hear all the plaudits and praise that came with that, always felt like a blessing. |
Damn this sucks. Such a great talent. The wrestling boom of the late 90s probably doesn’t happen without him.
One positive takeaway from this though is when he does pass, he’s already shown us he’s going to make a really great ghost. <div class="tenor-gif-embed" data-postid="20236571" data-share-method="host" data-aspect-ratio="1.31148" data-width="100%"><a href="https://tenor.com/view/scott-hall-spooky-fingers-nwo-gif-20236571">Scott Hall Spooky Fingers GIF</a>from <a href="https://tenor.com/search/scott+hall-gifs">Scott Hall GIFs</a></div> <script type="text/javascript" async src="https://tenor.com/embed.js"></script> |

he is gone now

I motion that TPWW hold a monthlong celebration of The Bad Guy. Scottober will be held just ahead of Nashvember.
The moment that ignited the spark of the biggest boom period in wrestling:

Hall was reportedly taken off of life support 4 hours ago. There's like a 98% chance he'll be gone shortly, barring a miracle kickout.
Say goodbye to the bad guy :( |
I dunno, there was like a 98% chance I was gonna be gone, and I never even won the European title.
Honestly can’t tell you how gutted I am. Scott Hall as Razor Ramon was my favourite wrestler as a kid, I used to think that he was the coolest guy. Fuck this sucks.

Chicotober, another option.
Scotchtober bc I'm sure Hall had a bottle or 50 in his day
Yeah, because that would mean my being drunk on scotch all throughout October would be in memory of Scott and not just because I’m an alcoholic.
WWE have confirmed Hall’s passing :(
I remember watching that video in 2012 where DDP and Jake called him, and Scott said that he had a bottle of vodka for breakfast that morning. I'm happy that he was able to stay sober for the last few years and able to even train and tour with his son. Scott was someone that was on verge of a tragedy with a really depressing ending and he was able to get an extended happy epilogue by going into the HOF, making seldom TV appearances, and get on the meet & greet convention circuit. This is still tough though.
Guttered. RIP Scott.
its official
RIP the bad guy
RIP Raze-Mang
I was hoping for one more kickout at 2 and a half
We should do a Scott Hall night for the watch-along. Every time a great wrestler dies, a viewing should be held.
What a fucking punch he had. Just outstanding. Definitely on my top 5 favourite wrestlers. He was just so fucking cool.
“Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don’t last, but BAD GUYS do.”
R.I.P. Scott Hall you were the first “cool” wrestler I really remember. Attitude before the Era. It’s easy to forget how big he was both physically and popularity-wise. A hero for those in our thirties and forties.
The guy had such cross-over appeal, just never really got to take advantage of it (for many reasons, a bunch of them valid). There was nobody that watched him who didn't think he was the coolest mofo around.
Is Kevin Oats still healthy from ravioli?
I hope so. |
lol at everyone posting at the same time about how cool he was likely without seeing one another's posts. That says it all.
Razor Ramon was good shit pal but I have to admit that Outsider/nWo Scott Hall was just the coolest cunt on planet Earth for about a year and a half.
Then Attitude happened. Attitude was so many stolen ideas that were stolen ideas all rolled into one. Childhood  Wrestling  Scott Hall  |
Obviously, the show will be dedicated to Scott Hall this Thursday.
nWo Scott Hall (especially 1996 and 1997) was immense because he got to 100% embrace counterculture. But he also did the work and the market research to find out what actually was "cool." Which TBH isn't that easy. Think about trying to lean into hip hop culture and appeal to teenagers and early twenty-somethings like the nWo did when you're pushing 40.

I noticed Gertner’s post above mine and was all “great minds think alike” and then when it refreshed you were there too saying the exact same thing. Hall had us all. |

He had a unique punch for sure. I liked using it in Smackdown CAWs
My favorite memory of Hall is the night he showed up on WCW. That may have been the first real true mind blown mark out of my life for wrestling. I was shook for the whole week. What a time.
Also though to me he is the premier Intercontinental Champion and the most legit contender for best character in WWE history that never won "the big one". You could have easily gotten Razor hot enough in 94-96 for a World Championship run. Especially with Shawn as champ if Razor had stayed. |
He really should have been in porn based on that picture though. Who is that with him, Spivey?
Yup, Eagle Spivey lol

Rock tried to mimick the Hall punch but it lacked the oomph. Hall always looked like he was knocking the shit out of the recipient and it didn't seem like he slapped the leg.

thinking about it the brass knucks at wm14 might be the only punch i can recall...surely there were others...

https://funnyinterestingcool.com/dow...file.php?id=31 Unless that was an insult towards his punches because they were featherlight and I'm just stupid. |
I actually get what he means there. He’s talking about his open hand slaps though.
Dales right. Rock threw similar punches that just didn't look as stiff. You could tell Rock was pulling them clear as day.
Destor such a diiiiiiiiick
A little shiny dick with a 37 degree curve to the left.
maybe my eyes are bad but i dont think any of those were punches. am i crazy? didnt rock do open hand slaps? were those supposed to be punches? if so theyre terrible:lol:

Man do I know people or what

its common for guys to let their fist limp before contact sure but if rock was punching you could see the work from the cheap seats
hall however as good as it gets |
How do we get his best matches available to view together?
If not his best, at least a good career matinee. |
I would like to see a match from every iteration of his persona(not drunk please).
That would be lovely stuff. |
conceptually matches from different phases of his career would be cool. maybe not his most legendary matches instead have some stuff when he was smashing jobbers on saturday night and whatnot. lesser sung moments that encapsulate gall throughout the eras. he had a lot of different phases.

I’ll take care of it.
a mans life is the sum of all his parts after all
Scott would want his drunk stuff to be included.
I’ll be online if we’re doing this on Thursday.
I owe it to my childhood heroes. |

Just one then please. |
I loved his squashes in WWF. Was always a rough night for the jobber.
