AEW used Royal Rumble 2000 rules which weren't worded as clearly as AEW did tonight with "Must be an offensive move through the table". Eventually WWE faded out that rule and anyone going through a table for any reason pretty much ended the match. It's a good rule because you get more table breaks when you have a guy go through the table on "accident".

It is bad. They could have made the match for a particular date weeks ago, 8 man tag or whatever. Then uses promo's and shit to build it instead of this constant dumb show down face off on the ramp.
