barbed wire crown on Adam Cole on this Good Friday
good powerrr an good aew tonight let's see what smackdown look's like
Tony Khan really is such a shitty booker. What was the point of calling it a Texas Death Match when it was 100% a last man standing match. Was there a single submission attempted that entire match?
They bothered using the Twin Switch gimmick just to have BOTH Twins job? I should have tapped out after Regal left commentary. |

I’m all in on the Blackpool Combat Club. Wheeler Yuta way more interesting with them.
Adam Cole died for our Straight Edge Savior so he can take the title at Double or Nothing. X-Rod shudders.
Lol @ barbed wire crown on Good Friday. I’ve missed sacrilege in my wrestling. Than you, Tony.
Road Dogg was having a moan about it like he didn't just do an interview talking about how Billy Gunn once woke up to him pissing in an air conditioner. @Fan (Re: sacrilege)
I am now going to watch Rampage, I may post some thoughts for my readers to digest if the ingested content inspires the fingers to move in such a way to form thought.
BCC needs a cool group entrance now. Probably should just come out with Mox from the crowd.
I really like Garland Center for AEW. It's not too big not too small, tight and loud. Reminds me of Long Beach's Walter Pyramid where NJPW ran a great show once with The Bucks vs Golden Lovers. A building set up for 4-6k is prime for AEW TV shows. I'd like them to leave the bigger arena's for PPV's and specials.
Billy Gunn vs Danielson dream match ensues...
Billy Gunn calling spots for Danielson
Moxley for me is one of the best guys to watch live. There is something about him, the way he draws a particular energy from the audience. He's always been really memorable when I've seen him live.
Also just for fun some of my other favorite live workers include The Lucha Bro's in particular Penta, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, HBK & The Undertaker. Sometimes seeing certain guys live can be a totally different experience.
Loved that six man tag that was a lot of fun and well done by everyone.
Butcher about to chop up Adam Cole's stand in.
Yesssss Dustin vs Punk, awesome.
Fast forwarded through Ruby Soho match! Haha!
Adam Cole really channeled some Jericho in that promo.
I can see that AEW is booking a lot of gimmick matches or matches with blood on TV. Personally I do like it. I see that there is a danger of over saturating the product with that though, and when it happens more sparingly it's more impactful. We have this Texas Death Match, we have a Coffin Match next week, tables match a few weeks ago, cage match before that etc...
I can't say I haven't enjoyed it but I am aware that it can over saturate. I wonder what the best answer is? Is this why WWE's weekly TV has been dumbed down to almost nothing exciting happening ever? |
Adam Cole slaps his thigh so obviously it infuriates me.
Texas Death Match didn't matter to me. I just didn't care about anything that happened. Hangman's reign has been terrible, what a disappointment.
KINGDOM HEARTS IS NOT THAT COMPLICATED
bullshit. |
How many Texas Deathmatches has Adam Page had now? This isn’t working.
So happy Hangman won, so happy it was fairly dominant. Kinda gutted he didn’t waffle him with the barbed wire chair.
Hangman to beat Punk btw… |

It tends to show up at WWE PPVs as well. And it's almost always hard camera side. |

Lol, I just read that Page and Cole did a barbed wire crown spot on Good Friday. Edgy wrestling is edgy. They’re only going to have themselves to blame when an executive actually watches them and works out they can simply show Big Bang reruns and get better ratings without potentially isolating fans, sponsors and advertisers.
They think they are doing Art, lol. Wrestling barely qualifies as smut to people who have actual qualifications to be involved in television. Why would you take risks like this in order to be iconoclastic? I guess they feel that their lack of popularity — especially with women — is because they don’t make enough religious commentary? |
There would have been blood in that match right? Didn’t they just try to use that to get Wheeler Yuta over? Now they’re doing it not even a week later for someone else? It goes beyond diminishing returns. It’s desensitising, which isn’t an artful use of violence at all. Which scrawny guy that doesn’t look like they could actually defend themselves in a real fight is going to promote self-mutilation next week?
They’re setting the wrong bar for stimulus at way too high a level. Are people going to be attached to this product if/when it goes PG? And who is attached to this product anyway? And the violence they are using doesn’t have the built-in possibility of spontaneity. They’re actively promoting that there will be blood half the time. It could be perceived as crossing the line into gore porn. Not a smart presentation for basic cable in prime time. |

Assclowns will defend him here simply based on which TPWW User criticizes him, because they are, as previously mentioned, assclowns. |
