In no order:
Chris Jericho CM Punk Chris Benoit Booker T Sting Christian Cesaro Bryan Danielson Kurt Angle Bret Hart |
The only wrestler I felt bad leaving out was Sabu. I had RVD in my top 10, but then I forgot I didn't have Sid in there.
|
Taker is definitely my favorite, the rest are random.
Undertaker Stone Cold The Great Muta (loved him) Bryan Danielson Sid William Regal Cesaro Ho Kogan (the we comin for you version) Ultimate Warrior JBL |
I no particular order except for Bret at number one:
Bret Hart Randy Savage Steve Austin Kurt Angle Bryan Danielson Stan Hansen Mick Foley Razor Ramon/Scott Hall Chris Benoit Eddie Guerrero Only thing super consistent in that list is Bret as my number one. |
fits in line with the rest of your life then doesn't it?!
NOT A FLAME, JUST AN OBSERVATION! |

This doesn't surprise me. |
Never understood why Supreme loves Rugged Ronnie so much. To each their own, I suppose.
|
Because its really really fun to watch him stiff the fuck out of jobbers.
|
I can’t do lists. It’s too fluid. I’ll also appreciate guys later and some of my favorites will drop off.
|
In alphabetical order:
Bryan Danielson Chris Jericho CM Punk Eddie Guerrero Kenny Omega Kurt Angle Mick Foley Ric Flair Shawn Michaels Sting Although a few of these could fluctuate in or out depending on the day with a handful of honorable mentions like AJ Styles or Macho Man. Chris Benoit might've been in there too but damn in his case it's hard to watch back past stuff without remembering how it all ended. Also shout out to Goldberg, DDP, and Kane as they were among the first favorite wrestlers I ever had. |

The Hands of Stone will bust him out.

Regretting not putting Barry Windham on my list over Foley. Barry doesn’t get enough respect.

Cornette told a story about Barry and Bobby Eaton having a match where they wrestled on their knees for much of it just because everything they did was so effortless that they got bored and wanted a challenge. They transitioned to their knees and kept things going so seamlessly that no one even realized anything weird was going on.
|
the challenge can go both ways. Either make the match worse or somehow make it better because both guys are so motivated to make it work.
|
Hogan
Savage HBK Bret Hennig Taker Austin Dibiase Flair Sid or Piper |
No real order Just wrestlers I enjoyed watching
Dynamite Kid Chris Benoit Bret Hart Chris Jericho The Undertaker Jake the Snake Brian Danielson Randy Savage Bad News Allen The Rock A few more Leo Burke "Dr. D." David Schultz The Great Gama Tito Santana Hulk Hogan Randy Orton Shawn Michaels |
Triple H
CM Punk Bryan Danielson Chris Jericho Shawn Michaels Sting Stone Cold Steve Austin Eddie Guerrero Undertaker Diamond Dallas Page I was such a huge DDP mark in 97/98 as a kid. It is not put in perspective enough just how over DDP was. WCW fucked up by not putting him over Goldberg at Halloween Havoc. Maybe have him some *this* close only to win WW3 and get another shot at Starrcade and end the streak and finally win the world title. I also remember wanting Lobster Sting to make Goldberg tap to the Scorpion Deathlock so bad when they wrestled on Nitro. I loathed Goldberg. Also, DDP's WWE run was fucking heartbreaking. |

Razor Ramon
Chris Jericho Bret Hart The Painter The Rock Tatanka (childhood favourite along with Razor) Bryan Danielson Eddie Guerrero The Daivaris and The Iron Sheik (represent) Jake Roberts If I did this lost tomorrow it would change and so on. |
I'm surprised I haven't made any changes as I've look at it everyday since I posted it. My usual mishmash of shitty wrestlers and hosses
|
Kurt Angle
Ryback Macho Man Rock Brock Cena DDP X-Pac Booker T Right off the top of my head. |
The more I think about it, the more I think Tyson Kidd might actually make my list. The guy was so fucking brilliant in the ring.
|
He and Cesaro were such a fun team. So was his team with Justin Gabriel. Kidd could have went down with Cesaro as one of the great tag wrestlers of his generation.
|
I don’t remember much of “International Airstrike” as I heard them referred to on commentary once. I might have to go back and watch some Superstars.
I loved Kidd as a singles guy in NXT too. His run there as the veteran who has snapped and developed this weird personality because of it was ace. |
There isn't many full Kidd and Gabriel matches on YouTube but there's still this gem. It's a very good match.
|
That’s a good find. I remember this match. I especially remember the Heath Slater powerslam and the superplex to the outside. Slater is so fucking good. Wish WWE would bring him back.
Match flowed great. There weren’t any spots that didn’t make sense. I love Tyson Kidd getting Gabriel back into the ring to make the tag. I think he had a lot to do with putting this together. Bonus for having Nunzio as the referee. A hidden highlight is that he calls Gabriel “Slater” towards the end of the match after he breaks up the pin on Kidd after the superplex. |
It's been really hard for me not to go back and put Eddie and Mr Perfect on my list but I can't decide who I would take off. Uhg.
|
Dustin Rhodes is another guy I could throw on my list. LOVED “The Natural” as a kid.
|
Bam Bam is another one I could throw in there.

There were times that Ultimo Dragon would have made my list. I’m not saying if he would or he wouldn’t now. But there are times when I was infecting my PC with all sorts of viruses just to get my UD fix.
|
2 more names I'm trying to find room for now -_-
Raven and Kidman. Lists are hard. |
Ive avoided this thread because picking only 10 is daunting. I know ive had favorites at the time who as a kid seem like odd reaches today, but what the hell.
In no real order 1. George the Animal Steele - As a kid I really thought he was part Animal with how furry he was, and it was scary! Plus him arguing with the refs when he wanted to "Eat Eat" the turnbuckle, so fun! 2. Honky Tonk Man - Way before I was old enough to be aware he was a Elvis knockoff, I just thought he was the coolest bad guy, until... 3. Razor Ramon - Who was so effortlessly cool he really cemented my love for the non-scared chickenshit heels 4. Randy Savage - I was fully team Savage, and genuinely mad at Hulk Hogan for taking his title 5. Undertaker - The whole presentation was amazing, but once Bobby Heenan said of his victory "I dont believe it, that is Superfly Jimmy Snuka!", the way he said it, I knew Taker was the man. 6. Steve Austin - I started really liking him during his matches against Savio Vega. Then he started really ramping up Stone Cold and it was on. 7. The Rock - Again, that cool heel, once he came back and joined the Nation he quickly became my all time favorite. 8. Mick Foley - I never cared much for Cactus Jack, but Mankind won me over so much that every character switch after worked for me. 9. Randy Orton - From Evolution on, I just always felt he was the best, him over all the guys from his generation, although... 10. Brock Lesnar - As an adult, he is everything I would have loved as a kid. He has the most believability as an ass kicking monster you could want. Child me would have not had any fear of George the Animal Steele after seeing Brock Lesnar. Today me would probably replace some of these with the likes of Demolition, the Dudleys, Jericho, Booker T, Kurt Angle, and RVD, but ill go with this list as is and call them honorable mentions. |
Whenever I’m watching classic Barry Windham, I feel like I’m watching the best wrestler in the world. But I don’t know if he would make my favorites list. This is too hard.
|
Alex Wright
Disco Inferno Doink SEVEN Fandango Eugene Gilberg David Arquette Jay Leno Glacier |
actually...I'm not sure SEVEN ever wrestled so I'll replace him with Kiss Demon
|
I feel like Kurt Angle would belong on my list.
|
On a serious note, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Malenko (unless I missed one)
|
It's such a subjective question...all around? mic skill? in ring only?
Hogan, Rock, Flair, Sting, Macho, Dean, Jericho, Vader, Bret, Piper, Road Warriors, Austin, Eddie, ...hell, I dunno. |
Who are your 10 favourites. Not that hard.
|
BUT GERT WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY FAVOURITE?
|
When I'm wankin, who are the top 10 wrestlers that cause me to cum the quickest.
|
After the change in criteria, Stacy Keibler crowned TPWW's Favorite Wrestler.
|
Would require Jazzy Foot to come back and weigh in with his choices
