The only way this deal makes sense for AEW is that Tony gets to "win" whatever numbers war happens at the PPV and that NJPW pays their own talent. NJPW is getting a huge rub from this deal where as AEW is just getting a shit load of more talent when they could have had a great PPV without anyone new at all.

Hangman should be in the interim title deciders match point blank. He was the Undisputed Champion with multiple defenses and BARELY lost that match, and many times almost won. Bullshit. He better be getting an IWGP match at the PPV at least.

Really AEW should be making out on this deal. This was a relationship that would have been huge when AEW started but NJPW wanted to keep away for a number of years. Then covid prolonged whatever agreement was made.
