Jeff Hardy Arrested on Multiple Charges Last Night
https://wrestlingheadlines.com/wp-co...dy-mugshot.jpg June 13, 2022 AEW star Jeff Hardy was arrested shortly after midnight last night in Volusia County, Florida. Volusia County jail records show that Hardy was booked into the jail at 12:45am, on charges of Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License, and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years. Hardy received a surety cash bond of $3,500 – $500 for the license charges, and $2500 for the DUI. He is currently still incarcerated at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hardy is scheduled to appear in front of a judge for his first hearing tomorrow, June 14 at 1:30pm. |

No, no, I'm as shocked as you are.

Rich people getting DUIs is always kinda funny. Hire a driver, bud.
|
i don't think he will ever get sober
|
This is what Jeff Hardy does. Whenever he leaves the WWE, he takes a money mark for a ride so he can indulge in his vices. It always ends up as a bad look for him and for wrestling. He needs real help, but you can see the manipulative pattern of Jeff using the small time places as playgrounds.
|
Time to cut bait. He’s a liability at this point.

This isn't surprising, unfortunately. The guy's an addict. People don't change, at least not in any real way that matters. If he ever does actually manage to stay consistently clean, he'll ultimately just replace one addiction for another, albeit hopefully a healthier and safer addiction, both for his own sake and others.
In any event, he's a moron for not getting a ride and instead putting other people at risk. |
Wild.

He doesn't look too messed up in that mug shot. Not that he deserves the benefit of doubt, but unless specifics come out it looks like he got busted for a DUI. Still super bad, but better than Meth.

Prob doin time in the slammer for this one, I'd think?
|
Absolutely. If I read it right that’s 3 DUI’s in a decade. Get his ass off the streets appear.

It depends. I'm not licensed to practice in FL, but apparently in FL a 3rd DUI in 10 years requires a minimum mandatory of 30 days, of which 48 hours must be served consecutively, and he could serve up to as much as 5 years. He also will lose his license for at least 10 years after release if found guilty.

As much as he’s done, even at 3.5 times the limit he should have enough wits about him to call an Uber. At the very least set some sort of reminder while you’re sober. Jesus.

The way Florida is these days he might be looking at the chair.

Anything above .30 is potentially fatal
|
Maybe for an amateur.
|
I’ve seen functional alcoholics blow higher than a .3 and have normal conversations with law enforcement. It’s insane.
I’ve also seen people with a .3 be found passed out at the wheel with vomit on them and their foot on the gas but the car in neutral. |
I once took a breathalyzer for the hell of it and blew a .44.
I did not drive. |
I want a breathalyzer. A good one.
|
Yup. $150 shipped.
|
$125. I’m in.

No pun intended. |
Warner Bros Discovery have apparently demanded that all promotion of Jeff Hardy cease. In some ways, Tony Khan might be relieved it’s “out of his hands.” But WBD probably don’t like needing to babysit either. And it looks like Jeff Hardy’s antics are getting less and less “cute” to people and he isn’t going to have his issues swept under the rug so much anymore.
|
but he's ok to jump off a ladder on dynamite this week, right?
|
Well I expected to see a lot of the typical anti AEW members here laying out the classic "I told you so!" to Tony.
I mean he hired a guy who either A. was high in his last match with WWE and legit bailed to go to go take a shit or another hit or B. faked being high and leaving the match so he'd get fired, so that he could go to AEW and work with his brother. Literally almost EVERYONE saw this coming. |
WWE saw it coming too and they’ve hired him multiple times. This is a Jeff issue. Honestly jail time to force him into sobriety is prob the best bet.
|
I hope that AEW can justify firing Matt Hardy too because he wasn't a good big brother. And sucks.

AEW should air the ROH Ladder War with The Bucks and The Hardy's on Dark or something.

Tony Khan FINALLY responds to an AEW controversy
One has to wonder what Tony Khan and AEW are hiding? I wouldn't be surprised to find out Tony and Jeff had drinks together earlier in the day |

1. The cop asks Jeff "WUSSUP WITH THAT?" like he knew Jeff knows Hurricane Helms! 2. Jeff Hardy wearing a Jaguars shirt, what a kissass. 3. Talking about getting brain scans from his brain doctor, yikes 4. Cop asked if he wears contacts, Jeff said no, what a liar! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...nuary_2017.jpg 5. Oddly Cop DOESNT ask if Jeff ever paints his eyelids to look like his eyes are open. https://c.tenor.com/G6cDp0Ue9AoAAAAC/jeff-hardy-wwe.gif 6. Jeff so hammered they tell him to count to 30 and he doesn't even realize they are cuffing him! |

Sounds like Jeff is great at making bad decisions. |
My sources indicate that Tony wanted Jeff to do a crazy spot that Jeff was nervous about doing, so Tony gave Jeff some alcohol to "loosen up". The next day Jeff got a DUI

In Tony’s defense, I’ve tried White Claws.
And they’re terrible. … I guess that wasn’t really in Tony’s defense. I just felt the need to start my sentence like that anyway because fedbad, dubgood. |

My guess is that they pulled the plug on promoting Jeff Hardy like they did preemptively on the Briscoes and like they did on MJF. |
Quote:
Why would that even require “pull”? As if Warner’s gonna be like “Who the fuck are you, peasant?? Fuck off! THE JEFF HARDY PROMOTION CONTINUES!” |
Quote:
|
You guys are crazy haha.
|
… You’re literally arguing “Vince McMahon didn’t have the pull to tell UPN ‘no’ when they said ‘We want this guy off of our network, take him off ASAP!’, therefore Tony Khan can’t possibly have the ‘pull’ to tell Warner ‘There’s a guy who got in some serious shit and won’t be on our shows in the foreseeable future, please remove him from all promotion.’”
You seriously can’t see the flaw in this analogy? |
Quote:
|
Why the fuck does it matter?
|
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't. I just think it's gonna be one of those things that'll be really funny to hear about during the "Rise and Fall of AEW." It's up there with the inevitable Thunder Rosa shoot interview.
|
To me it only mattered from a “correcting Noid’s bullshit on the matter” standpoint and it blossomed into something weird from there.
If the ACTUAL issue now is “I don’t trust Meltzer”, well then… alright. |
Fair enough.
I probably should have led with that and used the whole Hassan thing as the reason why I didn't trust what Meltzer was saying. On top of the fact that it's, you know, Meltzer. |
Holy shit at some insecure cuntpickles trying to make this thread about me. Wooooow. How dare I hear people talking about it and share the link that shows where they got it from?

I mean hey have at er, argue away haha. It’s just became pathetic to see everybody argue about the most minute, ticky tack, bubblegum bullshit. 95% of it doesn’t matter.
Jeff Hardy got a DUI. Unfortunately happens. Sad. Getting help. Hopefully see you do well and come back healthy. |
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it Discover Warner that said they do not want the Briscoes on their network? It is not farfetched that they would make a similar request regarding Jeff Hardy.
That said, I think the most likely scenario is Tony probably spazzed out and virtue signaled to Discovery Warner about leaving Jeff out of any promoting, as a way of letting them know he punished Jeff Hardy. It is a classic Wrestling Simulation response. |
The Vastardikai thing barely blossomed into an argument. I think we’re done “having at it”. I thought his gripes were odd but when it came down to “I actually just don’t trust Meltzer”… meh. That’s a whole other can of worms for another thread. lol
We’ll agree to disagree on correcting Noid not mattering. He wanted to get his new little “babysitting” narrative in there based on a terribly written article that is contradicted by its very own source. Lol. He’s a gross, skeevy, dishonest little shit who wants to be able to slip his bullshit in casually and then “shame” people into not calling it out. “WOW! Can’t believe he’s making this thread about me! Obsessed!” Lol Fuck off. You posted something false and I corrected it. I think letting those types of people get away with it is a bad idea. Eventually they become president. |
Quote:
But in short: Yes. Warner made the call on The Briscoes. It’s not far-fetched for either side to have made the call here as I’m sure both sides are on the same page as far as what needed to happen. It’s literally a matter of who was on top of the story and made the call first. Lol |
Quote:

Shout out to Gigi Dolin for keeping it cool through these rough times

Several 911 calls…come on Jeff.
|
Cop after making him count to 30: “I think you missed 24… hehe, just kidding.”
What a dick. Lol |

I’m not saying driving on a clear highway at night is better. You’re always a risk to yourself and whoever you do happen to come into contact with — and other people have to deal with the consequences of that — but this was just total disregard for him shoving his heavy machinery right through some innocent people’s lives. |
