nWo was one of the worst factions in WWE history! Hogan was a babyface within a month, Hall was fired within 2 months, and Kevin Nash blew his quad out after like 4 months. Plus for some random reason Ric Flair could just add Booker T as a member.

WWE owns the rights to WCW, so you have to take the entirety of nWo history into account and not the shitty stuff Vince touched!

The constant DX reunions kinda made sense when Vince was in charge.

Will Sasso was one of those celebs in wrestling where I just couldn’t totally hate their involvement since he actually loves it and it’s about more than just the payday for him

Actually watched this show..... and by watched I mean I skipped over all rassling except for the short Lashley/Rollins match.

Bloodline/Jey/Sami story seems "really interesting"..... I could see Sami be the one to take the title off off Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. I really could. He's got a bit of the Mick Foley "loveable doofus trying to fit in" vibe, and when he gets kicked out I could see the fans really getting behind him in the underdog kind of way. Him winning the rumble, and then going to WM.

Judgement Day seems really "hot"... Story of Rey refusing to hit his son is "cool".... Anderson/Gallows are "not cool".....

Miz/Lumis thing seems really weird... Lumis character supposed to be like a stalker/raper? But I guess the guy he is stalking/raping is a jerk so he's a good guy....

Damage Control seems "good"...

Lashley losing the belt is dumb I think.... he should have gone over Seth.... would have been "a moment" to show "damn, this guy is tough" right after showing him get one-sided beat down'd by Lesnar...... would have also given the title a lot of credibility to have Lesnar fighting for it.... title feels "less important" now, like "we gotta get the title off this guy if he is gonna fight Brock, Brock can't be associated with that title"

Not the worst ep. Some decent stuff. Had to flip over to MNF a few times though when I was losing interest.

Def prefer this as a watch later and skip kinda show I think. But some guys I always wanna watch. Sami Zayn is gold

I kind of wish Lesnar vs. Lashley was for the US Title. It would be fascinating to see Brock as US Champ. Oh well. I’d be cool with Brock vs. Bobby and Rollins vs. Riddle for the US Title too.

Raw sounds “good.” I can’t really bring myself to watch though. It needs more “life.” I dunno how else to put it.

At some point you’ve got to stabilize the roster. Right now, the shows seem to be generally benefitting from Triple H’s approach. I hope he can kill his babies easily enough though. These aren’t all winners.

He needs to put the playbook down now or else Bray will get jobbed out to Roman next week and then be on Main Event on youtube for the next 6 months.

What you want is for everyone to want to leave AEW, but for them to be stuck there.

I don't think that's the case at all. Tony Khan wasted no time in bringing in talent that were WWE castoffs because he wanted to "sign" what he believed he could turn into the next best thing.

HHH has re-signed people that were close to him through NXT or he has a good working relationship with. Some were also signed because Vince either fired them because they couldn't get over or fired them because they were "difficult" to work with.

Vince released all these wrestlers and TK signed whoever he could. The blue print was there from WCW that that is exactly what you DO NOT do. Look at who HHH has Brought back

Gallows and Anderson- Strengthen the Tag division

Scarlett and Karrion Kross- Kross was a monster in NXT and then jobbed out on the main roster.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LaRae- Arguably they let their contracts expire due to the birth of their child and wanting to get used to being parents. Gargano was a work horse in NXT.

Bray Wyatt- One of the more creative minds in the business.

Meanwhile TK went after people like:

Keith Lee- A big man that moves great for his size but doesn't follow a diet and looks lazy as shit at times in the ring.

Jeff Hardy- WAYYYYYYYY past his prime and then was arrested for drunk driving and hasn't been seen since.

Samoa Joe- Another one that is beyond his prime.

He's brought in guys that are definitely on the up as well like Swerve Scott. But his signings reek of "Daddy Khan I wanna go to the toy store and get some new figures for my ring" whereas HHH's signings show that he already has a plan for who he has signed.

Has Tony Khan signed anyone from WWE in the last 3 years that he has had any plan with whatsoever, other than debut pop, FEDBAD promo, then to AEW Dark?

Seriously, there has been zero story arch or long term plan for any of them.

I mean that's one way of looking at it.

The backstage problems are useful. Why alleviate them for AEW and possibly even take them on yourself?

They wouldn't be as big of a problem backstage in WWE because their management isn't filled with pussies who are afraid of the talent and just want to hug them and hang out.
