I wasn’t rooting for anyone to lose their jobs or anything but Hager was one of the guys from the inaugural Dynamite roster that I would’ve been quite OK not getting a second contract. Just had zero interest in him at all.
The hat thing is the right about of silliness that gives me a reason to care about him. |

Meltzer went from saying Regal was on a one year deal, to a three year deal, and now today just saying “something is going on with him and his future with AEW is unclear”
I’ll bet he had 3 year contract with a 1 year opt-out, as he’s not on an in-ring contract. This angle would cover him for the final couple of months of the 1-year he was locked in for. Timing seems too convenient for it to not be the case. |
