Whenever Kota inevitably comes to AEW I hope that The Bucks go on a singles run when Kenny and Kota team up. I don't want the Bucks to feud, just go on separate title runs. It would be cool to see Nick get ahold of the ROH World title and Matt to get with the TNT Championship.

Okay that was a fun episode top to bottom. Joe was really good in the main event and Wardlow came off good even in the loss because of the pre match beatdown. Good stuff with that.
Ricky Starks is a rambling mother fucker. Someone get him a Cody and a script please. The six man was pretty dumb at the start but got really good, I'm sure the final will be push the boundaries of what we all accept as wrestling but it will be worth watching I'm certain. |
I kinda don’t get Joe anymore. Was a good match/segment but I just don’t know if I want to see him pushed in this day and age. Hoping for another Darby TNT reign.
6 man was fire, just a sick series of matches and the ladder match should slap. I feel like the way it’s been booked the Elite winning is the right way to go but I kinda want death triangle to retain. I want to see MJF wrestle a bit more. I understand the attraction angle and keeping him as a special occasion. I don’t want him to be Mox wrestling weekly but I feel like he needs a bit more of the Angle smarmy heel who can back it up and a little less of the Triple H reign of terror heel. When Hook suplexes Big Bill I’m gonna lose my mind a little I think. |
Yeah, Joe should be a part-time monster who can draw/pop an easy rating at this point in his career but he’s been butchered booking-wise everywhere. Another casualty of the era.

They’re presenting him really well after the dumb loss to Adam Cole. He’s been billed as dangerous and his heel turn and subsequent work has been great so far IMO. I think it’s pretty obvious they’re building him up to lose to either Darby or Wardlow, which is the right way to use him at this point in his career. He’s winning matches, being billed as a huge threat, and all this dominance is going to be used to help elevate somebody else because it’ll matter when he finally loses.
I’d love to see Miro come back and get into a feud with Joe eventually winning the title back. My hope is death triangle remains when punk reveals he’s pulled his head out of his ass and has decided to work with the elite, costing them the titles and building to a huge trios match with ftr against them. |
Joe is strange to me right now, the silly "King of TV" schtick is being delivered so well by him during promos I'm into it. But I kinda just dont care that much about him anymore.
I agree hes being fattened as a sacrificial lamb to someones push but it coming at Wardlows expense seems odd despite not being done badly. I dont know that Darby needs the TNT title as fun as it will be. Give me Darby vs. MJF ASAP instead please. Miro steamrolling Joe would be great but then what for Miro? Putting the TNT belt on someone in HOB could be cool but it almost cant be Malakai as I dont want to see him lose. Brody King for TNT Champ would be sick. For some reason I just want us to move on to the next part of this already. I wont get on my Darby for World Champ soap box again here but I really think they should do it and do it ASAP. |
Everybody knows Samoa Joe would rather be in WWE. At least over there he benefitted from the surreal factor of “oh shit Joe’s in the big leagues.” When he’s smashing mid-carders in the minors, who cares?
