Show sounds horrible, but of course I have my opinions on AEW.

* Darby Allin has been the exact same for 4 years now. In the same spot, doing the same shit. For comparison, that takes Rob Van Dam from 2001 to 2005. Remember when a promotion used to get criticized for not doing anything with anyone?

* The women’s division obviously sucks. TK doesn’t have an eye for talent. He falls for the “fed bad” mentality where it’s never a wrestler’s fault that they suck. If he had invested in a proper developmental program for female athletes and standout indy talent 4 years ago, he could have a damn fine thing going. But no foresight there. It’s the same sucky women doing the same sucky things.

* Jeff Hardy has chewed up his last bit of good will. He’s a relic. Last stint he and Matt were ratings losers. These guys are so old it’d be like using the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express in 2003 or something. People don’t look at them and see trendsetters or even legends anymore. They’re clinging on and it seems to reinforce bad habits in at least one of them.

* How can you present anything serious on your show when you’ve got Orange Cassidy in the same universe? It doesn’t make ANY sense. This is why the show couldn’t get over 1.2 million viewers no matter what you do. It’s capped because it insults your intelligence. Orange Cassidy isn’t good either. That whole “when he gets going he’s actually a great wrestler” thing is complete bullshit. So much daylight in his shit. You can see him telegraphing spots miles away. He’s pretty fucking rotten even outside the gimmick.

same...and ear hair...and those annoying thick eyebrow hairs that just do their own thing and gotta pluck em and sacrifice them to the toilet gods.

Jericho/Lee was OK but not as good as it probably could’ve been. Felt like Lee had to downshift a bit to work Jericho’s pace.

Solid enough Dyno. OC/Buddy was the clear MOTN I think. Sting promo popped me. BCC/Elite stuff is cool. Jericho/Cole at DON is a decent enough use for those two.

A thing I’ve liked about watching WWE these past couple of weeks is that it isn’t get your shit in every match. Obvious guys have their token stuff, but even in the showcase matches at Mania, not everybody did every single little trick they had. They also all kind of work to fit it into the context of a fight. Not so from what I’ve seen of AEW. Instantly holds them back.

Dude, Keith Lee sucks. He’s sucked forever. He maybe used to be able to do the mindless indy shit, but I watched his AEW debut and he was sucking wind in seconds. I would have placed money that Jericho/Lee would have been two old grandpas.

This AEW reality show kinda sucks tbh... Guevara very annoying... comes off as really full of himself and kind of dumb

Another solid show. Elite vs. BCC is gonna be sick when it makes it into a ring properly. OC vs. Buddy was great! I wanted Buddy to win but I feel like its heading to one of HOB dethroning OC so I'm cool with it.

I’ve thought this for a while. I would like a Sting title defence. I think they could actually work it so they can make people believe he could actually win it. In the fatal four way that will eventually happen, have Darby pin Guevara but MJF pulls the ref away, hits Jungle Boy with the ring and then gets the refs attention again and pins him. Darby is pissed as he had the belt won so he wants a rematch. Have MJF fuck Darby up and write him off for a month or so and move the focus to Sting.

Could even have Sting win one of the number one contender battle royals or something, it’d be good to have him as one of the “jokers” instead of a debuting or returning person that eventually goes nowhere.

Have the belt defended on one of the special dynamites like Winter is Coming or whatever. Really build it up and have Sting get the crowd behind him, hit all his big moves and really sell it like he might win. Have him hit multiple finishers even so the fans constantly think he’s got it. Right before MJF pulls something out to beat him like a little shithead.

Struggle to care about much in AEW at the minute, I skip through the episodes and get through an episode of Dynamite in about 15 minutes.

But I’d enjoy watching Sting vs MJF

The womens angle has to be the most boring storytelling to ever happen in wrestling. How do they not think to change a single part of it up a little bit?

Couldnt agree more, and put it on the next BOTB. That show needs something to hype towards.

Also I would be happy to see MJF go over clean. Have Sting dominate for a while, hit all his spots etc etc as you say but just not quite be able to put MJF away. As time goes on Stings an old man, MJFs a young man, MJF goes over clean and Sting gets to cut the "If I was 20 years younger" promo on Dynamite followed by... "Hey guess who is, Darby!"

If you want to put more heat on MJF after the match have MJF do the beat down or something but I think he could use some reps just going over guys. Hes got the dick dastardly stuff down, lets show hes the complete package as well.

Thought this was one of the better Dynamites that I can remember. Women's tag stuff is kind of repetitive though. Swerve / Darby, OC/Buddy, Keith / Jericho all great matches.

Swerve needs a huge push up the card. Him and Cage is kind of a sweet pairing. They'll work well together.

I wasn't really sure about OC when I started watching AEW, but he's a fucking work horse and has great matches with every opponent. Buddy is still on his level from a few years ago which is awesome to watch.

I am also extremely down for the summer of Keith. I think they should have a Big E Special for the TNT title soon: Hobbs vs. Wardlow vs. Keith vs. Cage. Think it would rule.

If Sting is going to wrestle someone one-on-one as a retirement match, MJF has long been my pick. He’s a safe opponent and would make it a good match. Plus he’s actually someone who could carry the heat.

I don’t know why they’re having the champion having to be saved nor do I know why they haven’t pulled the trigger in turning Britt heel on Hayter and building up a big match between the two. It’s right there.

Why? When she can have the Champion be her lackey and the fourth most important person in their feud (maybe even fifth, if you count Riho and her duct taped paper towel roll).

All Access should just be renamed "The Thunder Rosa Burial Hour." It would be more honest.

I think Jamie Hayter vs. Britt Baker is going to be the main event at Wembley.

Like, they’re gonna use Saraya. I get that. And the outcasts thing is whatever. But they don’t need to involve Britt and Hayter into that after Britt lost and Hayter won.

Let the younger women’s talent like Willow feud with the Outcasts. Or even better, Jade.

Meanwhile, Britt should’ve turned on Hayter and beat the fuck out of her for stepping out of her shadow. There’s two matches that are important for the next ppv; Jade v Saraya for the TBS title and Hayter v Britt for the women’s world title. Jade gets to be the first one to beat Saraya clean and Hayter gets established as the top dog in the women’s division with a win over Britt.
