Kyle Fletcher needs a title shot, being a loyal member of the AEW roster and all :roll:

Fletcher has a bright future. Love the work I’ve seen him with as part of Aussie Open, but he’ll have a real nice singles career at some point. Only 24 years old as well.

Nothing against him, but couldn't one of the 200 wrestlers actually signed to AEW get this title match instead?

show feels like Rampage so far, nothing happening, matches with obvious winners

Unfortunately this is par for the course with their go-home shows. Barely anyone important wrestles as they don’t want to risk an injury right before the PPVs.

PPV itself looks good to me but for at least a year now I’ve felt deflated by the go-home show.

None of them are on the level of the devil!

Go home show before Full Gear was in Bridgeport. Worst crowd in AEW history and now they probably won’t ever go there again even though it’s the closest venue to me.

Banger of a match to close it out but where’s Hangman and Omega? As good as Anarchy in the arena should be I want the pillars match to main event.

I missed a few bits and pieces working while I watched but overall enjoyable go home show for me. I really wanted Omega and Hangman if we were gonna have Elite and BCC to close the show.

If not it should have been the Pillars and basically do the ending they did but with the Pillars all spamming finishers on one another then holding up the belt.

JB hits JF and poses, Sammy hits JB and posses, Darby hits Sammy and poses and MJF his Darby and ends holding up the belt maybe.

It is a good idea to put Bryan in another Anarchy in the Arena match. Surely he won't get a concussion like the last time...

It's 2023. I think it's the far right doing all the cancelling right now. It's hard to keep up with the trends.

Bryan and Mox are kinda ruined for me right now. They should have counted their loss when Regal left and split em up. Maybe Mox wanted the spotlight off him since he's been a goddamn work horse.

which is a shame because I usually like Taya and I'd been really impressed with Frost in other stuff I've seen her in. they just didn't click in this one for whatever reason

not looking forward to Taya/Jade II at all

almost all of Jade's title run feels like it's been artificially stretched out. aside from a handful of PPV title defenses, her win streak is entirely squash matches.

Kris Stat was supposed to take the belt from her, and Tony's shown repeatedly that he doesn't know how to pivot when someone gets hurt...so that means Jade stretches her reign while Stat deals with a really long ACL tear

by the time Stat wins the belt it won't matter. feels like the takeaway will be much more "thank god Jade doesn't have the belt" instead of "happy for Kris Stat"

I like Willow a lot. Really enjoy her ring work and she's got an infectious energy to her. I could definitely buy her winning a title as a feel-good moment someday.

But I don't think she'd be the right choice for Jade. Feel like you kinda have to go with a "badass" taking her down instead of a happy-go-lucky type. And badass is largely how they were portraying Kris with her "more than a woman" character a few months before her injury. While it's ridiculous TK couldn't pivot when she got hurt, they've waited this long they may have seen it through.
