He’s clearly awkward and uncomfortable doing these, and he could easily just delegate the announcements to others.

The AEW matches he's had were really good either involved wrestlers far better than her (Shida, Rosa) or a lot of plunder/weapons etc

Yeah Britt sucks in the ring, tbh. I don’t recall ever wanting one of her matches and thinking what a great match it was. At best she’s had solid matches with talent far better than her.

The draw for Britt has never been that she’s good in the ring. She’s been a great character.

My interest in AEW's women's division has been at an all time low. I just can't seem to care about the Outcasts. AEW might benefit from additional bookers or writers tbf.

Yeah that was kind of what I took from it as well. Im not sure why he needs more allies given he has the Elite unless were going for an absolute cluster of a match.

Ibushi might well be AEW bound but I suspect the strange departure he had with NJPW might preclude him from appearing on Forbidden Door.

Okada is always a welcomed addition to my TV. Love that man. Still wonder who Callis would get to team with Takeshita tho. I would imagine they’d have to take the pin so that the feud with Omega gets drawn out for the eventual singles match.

They screwed that kid over hard. Paid him $80k for the first movie that made $72 million at the box office. Then the kid was going to walk on the second movie unless he got a raise. The studio agreed to pay him $500k instead of $80k again. As soon as they were done filming, they sued him and he had to pay back everything over $80k he was paid for the 2nd movie, which got $32 million box office.

So for 2 movies that together made over $100 million at the box office, Junior walked away with $160,000 minus whatever legal costs getting sued amounted to.
