AEW: ALL OUT 2023
Absolute garbage card. Was irresponsible to run back to back ppvs.
Yeah, I thought the card for the UK show looked underwhelming. Didn’t even realize that was not this year’s All Out. What the hell…
Mox/OC, Omega/Takeshita, Danielson/Starks, Miro/Hobbs, 8-man tag, Eddie/Shibata teaming, and ROH tag all intrigue me. I've not really watched ROH so I don't know much about Shane Taylor - feel like Joe could get a good match out of pretty much anyone though so I'd think that'll be good.
Don't care about Stat/Ruby. Love Stat but the women's division is a shambles. Darby vs. Luchasaurus holds little interest to me either, Darby vs. Christian is the real appeal and I'm sure we'll get it at Grand Slam or something. Luchasaurus is just there to bump Darby around and then presumably lose and Christian can get mad at him. It's as good of a card as I reasonably could've hoped for on a one-week build, but I do think back to back PPVs is a fucking stupid concept in general. |

Miro/Hobbs and Danielson/Starks should be the standouts Silver/Reynolds have no business being in a ppv match with MJF |
Tony Khan said he did try to do an All In/All Out PPV package deal (so you'd get, say, both PPVs for $75 aka buy 1 get 1 half off) or something. But he's involved with BR, Fite, and traditional PPV providers and he just couldn't get everyone on the same page.
While I understand it might've been complex to pull off, when he failed to do so this is the kind of thing where Khan should've reserved the right to pull All Out from PPV entirely and just make it free. Which is basically what he's doing with a lot of international markets who will get tonight's show on YouTube. |

Pretty sure they've also been friends with MJF for years as they all worked the Long Island indy circuits so I think they'll have some pretty good chemistry out there too. Feels like a perfectly good heel team to put MJF/Cole over as we head into Grand Slam. |
Vito, you can't honestly look at all those matches you mentioned and tell me with a straight face they all "intrigue" you. Those are all Rampage level matches save for maybe a couple of them.
Really looking forward to OC vs Mox and Omega vs Konouske. Everything else is just cherry on top. Looks like a great card.

I disagree with the decision of running back to back PPVs but that doesn’t mean I don’t think the show itself will be good. |

100% less interested.
No one cares about this show. Put it in the trash.

Put a world title match on this card and it’s a really good card in my books.
I do feel like they could have done more in recent weeks to highlight Takeshita and Omega and it would have been a more accepted main event but OC and Mox is something I will enjoy. |
Yeah....Some build to Takeshita v Omega would have been nice. Really like Takeshita and where he could go. A mouthpiece may always be needed but he's got something going. Unfortunately, AEW hot shot booking won't do him any favors.

I am confident the match itself will be great. |
Shane Taylor getting a 1 on 1 match at an AEW PPV before Keith Lee is still funny
I think there's a lot of great sleeper matches on the card but I do not think there's a match that is going to really draw.
Not watching but interested in the crowd reaction. On one hand it's Chicago on the other I can't imagine interest in going and being vocal if your reason going is Punk. So maybe it will be a pro Elite crowd.
Quality battle royal so far
I can't stand Garcia's dance.
Digging the Trent and Page alliance.
lmao @ Trent telling Prince Nana to STFU
Chicago crowd chanting "Cowboy shit"
"Hangman" Adam Page getting cheered by the Chicago crowd for winning the "Over Budget" Charity Battle Royal
That was a fun battle royal. Love that Tony Khan is a battle Royal fan.
The “put me down!” spot with Cool Hand Ang popped me big time
Does local pyromaniac Skye Blue have any redeeming qualities besides her physical attributes?
Shida rocking the All In gear again
Genuinely stoked to see Athena in action.
A very small group of lads chanting for Skye Blue. A true Chicago legend.
Wow! Skye Blue's "Code Red" was atrocious. Amazing Red rolling in his grave :nono:
I hope Tony books David Arquette next
Reynolds and Silver are a joy to watch in the ring. I'm glad they're given this opportunity to perform on PPV. Good stuff.
wonder if the copyright police are even gonna bother hunting streams
The "CM Punk" chants are deafening
MJF getting crowds to chant "sportsmanship" is a trip
Cole asking MJF where it hurts while he's holding his neck
Quote:
Shout out to them for acknowledging that Reynolds helped train MJF too. Knew MJF worked with Reynold and Silver a lot on LI but didn’t realize he’d helped train him. |
"Single Clothesline" chant, Chicago crowd really making a case for themselves right now.
Go Dark Order. Go FSU. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Evil Uno nailing Cole behind the ref's back
MJF's gonna get a monster pop for when he returns.
MJF running in for the save with Roddy’s neck brace is gonna pop me
This version of MJF has truly won me over. He does so much with so little...fucking legend!
This is so tacky...I love it!
Nobody gets up from the double clothesline!
Any truth to the reports that CM Punk signs are being confiscated and fans are being asked to turn their shirts inside out or leave?
Whoa @ MJF going after Samoa Joe
Quote:
MJF and Cole rule
Sorry Roddy Strong…..Joe is who I want to see MJF facing at Arthur Ashe
Pretty good outing from Shane Taylor there. Glad he got to show out in this spot.
The way Allin has been abusing his body, I don't believe he's going to be able to wrestle in his forties.
Christian with the white turtleneck. interesting choice.
The crowd losing their mind over the ref's count.
Thank you, locker room!
Pretty sure Darby was on record that he has no interest in having a long career
Jesus Christ! Jim Ross doesn't need to do commentary anymore.
Darby didn’t look like he was selling there. Guy took some really bad landings in that match.
Lookin forward to this one
PPV has been quite decent so far.
"Slap that knee" chants  |
Quote:
All the meat-related chants. Amazing.
BIG MEATY MEN SLAPPING MEAT
Glad to see the crowd in attendance chanting and enjoying the in-ring product rather than sabotaging the show.
Quote:
Are they chanting "meat forever"?
This match has exceeded all expectations
Now would be a great time for Shawn Stasiak to reach out to the office for a nostalgia booking
Epic Meat Time!
This match
Fucking Miro! What a fun match
LANAAAAAAA!
Beat my meat, Lana
Quote:
Fuck that was such a great match
Traditional All Out debut is Bobby Lashley's side piece?
Please run this back at Ashe. I wanna see this live.
They aren't going to continue that bullsheet from WWE, are they?
Miro should have been AEW champion like 2 years ago already.

I can't even with Jim Ross.
JFC, Ross :nono:
Leave Jimbo alone! :(
Ruby's over the top reactions are something else

Toni Storm
I might have bit on the Destination Unknown false finish if Excalibur didn’t say “RUBY’S GONNA DO IT!”
It’s not exclusively an Excalibur issue, but announcers routinely kill false finishes by saying that. Genuinely can’t ever remember a 3 when an announcer says it. |
Damb @ ladies screaming for Starks
Final Countdown again!
It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN!
LOL wasted BIG money on Europe again.
This dude cant stop wasting his dad's money |
I'm glad I stayed awake to watch this PPV. It's been great so far
IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!
Steamboat on commentary might've been a bad idea
