Most Painful Submission Hold

What do you guys think it is? I would do a poll but I'm sure there'll be a lot of holds I'll forget to put on it, so just name the moves.

I think the Boston Crab would be the most painful submission move. The way the Model used to do it made it look painful. Other honorable mentions would be the Sharpshooter, Regal Stretch, and Rings of Saturn.

OssMan 07-24-2004 09:49 PM

brock lock
walls of jericho (wcw way)
haas of pain
bow and arrow lock
fujiwara armbar

Transplant 07-24-2004 09:56 PM

Either Old School Liontamer or Bow And arrow

Jaton 07-24-2004 10:30 PM

Texas cloverleaf, half-boston crab, and figure four.

Innovator 07-24-2004 10:32 PM

Figure four, when applied correctly, hurts like hell

Liontamer

Torture Rack :shifty:

Londoner 07-24-2004 10:39 PM

Dragon sleeper? If that's the correct move im thinking of, fuck that must hurt.

Mr. Nerfect 07-24-2004 10:49 PM

I'd say pretty much any of the submission holds done as finishers in the WWE wuld hurt heaps. The Cattle Mutilation, Figure Four, Sharpshooter and any variation of the crab would hurt like poo. STFs are painful too.

Favre4Ever 07-24-2004 10:59 PM

When I used to do backyard wrestling when I was younger, everybody always told me that my Figure Four hurt them more than anything else. And I believe it.

loopydate 07-24-2004 11:15 PM

Figure Four is painful as hell, but the Haas of Pain and Cattle Mutilation just look brutal.

Kane Knight 07-24-2004 11:17 PM

Triple H telling you about his honeymoon.

sensai86 07-24-2004 11:28 PM

The liontamer (With the back cradled he turns you into a backwards "C")
Tequila Sunrise (Hot move if done right)
Edgeacution (It start off as a sharpshooter than while turning he puts you in a ankle lock)

FourFifty 07-24-2004 11:42 PM

<font color=cyan>Liontamer... Not the Walls of Jericho, the Liontamer, hands down.

That is a painful maneuver, but what's worse is the telling of his honeymoon with Vince. :(

Funky Fly 07-25-2004 12:21 AM

To this day, I still don't know how people can take the Indian Deathlock without dislocating their knee.

Kane Knight 07-25-2004 12:24 AM

They're doubl;e jointed. You should see the porn movies.

RemyRed 07-25-2004 02:53 AM

I still think that special that they gave Steve Blackman in Wrestlemania 2000 for N64 would be the most painful submission. Larry Zybysko's move. It might've been mentioned, I don't know the name of it, can someone tell me it?

HankScorpio 07-25-2004 08:03 AM

Crippler Crossface hurts like all hell
and the Tazmission doesn't look like a tea party either

Team Sheep 07-25-2004 09:55 AM

Camel clutch - your whole upper body is just in shear pain.

Figure 4 leg lock - Flair did it on this Sky sports presenter before and he said it hurt like a bitch.

Tarantula :shifty:

Sharpshooter- Calf and Back hurtage.

Stickman 07-25-2004 02:03 PM

sharpshooter only hurts the back.

I think the ankle lock is the worst.

addy2hotty 07-25-2004 02:56 PM

Remember Eddie's 'Lasso from El Paso'....? Damn shame he doesn't do it anymore.

He still does once in a while. It's like a secondary finisher you only see on special occasions, like Brock's Shooting Star was supposed to be.

LK 07-25-2004 04:17 PM

Haa of Pain
Figure Four Leg Lock
Regal Stretch
Brock Lock

A Mate of mine did the sharpshooter to me and it hurt because my calves were pressed together...

Aussie Skier 07-26-2004 05:17 AM

i reckon the most painful would be the tarantula

KaliKot 07-26-2004 12:23 PM

Gail Kim's submission moves
damn they look brutal ever since she went into the submission bitch!

Corkscrewed 07-26-2004 12:39 PM

I think the Cross face hurts the most, since it wrenches the neck pretty badly (when done "properly"). I can take leg and back pain a little better, so that's just a personal bias.

Stickman 07-26-2004 04:15 PM

but the crossface is so easy to get out of. It's not like you could actually use it in a real fight........not like you'd use any in a real fight

I did once scrap this guy and put him in the texas cloverleaf...that was funny.

Loose Cannon 07-26-2004 04:19 PM

The Doink move. I think it's called "The Stump Puller."

RemyRed 07-26-2004 05:03 PM

The Testicular Claw
Ouch that shit would hurt like bitch

Sickboy 07-26-2004 05:08 PM

Yujigatame
Fujiwara armbar

Innovator 07-26-2004 05:08 PM

Mandible Claw hurts like a bitch

yeah the Tazmission, the Katahajime sp (it's judo name) is the real deal

Watson 07-26-2004 05:09 PM

My version of the Texas Cloverleaf

My variation of the STF (Same as the regular except instead of a headlock I put my opponent in a full nelson while I have their leg hooked)

RemyRed 07-26-2004 05:11 PM

Anyone remember Lionheart Chris Jericho's version of the Texas Cloverleaf, The Jericho MapleLeaf? That shit would've hurted a lot also.

The Show Off 07-26-2004 05:59 PM
