Should Kidman and London have a team name?
 

You gotta admit, 'Kidman & London' just doesn't roll off the tongue as well as 'Edge & Christian'. Does anyone else here think they should have a team name? I like one of the things that Michael Cole said when he was describing their run as a tag team. He said 'Sudden Impact', and I thought it would be a great tag name.

On a semi-related note, does anyone else find it kinda funny that one uses a forward-rotating splash as a finisher and the other uses a backward-rorating one?

imagine how awesome it would be if they did them to their opponents at the same time?

Like the Hardys with the splash/leg drop combo? That would rule, but Kidman has the least range out of anyone who can hit an SSP. London would have to go clear across the ring.

I was thinking more of them doing it to both their opponents

If they did it at the same time, I think one of them would have to slingshot it from the ropes, ala AJ Styles does with the 450 sometimes.

So I take it, they changed London Finisher to a 450 Splash or something along the line, that kinda sucks, well nothing against 450's because they are cool looking but London by far has the better SSP then Kidman

Anyone who can do a Shooting Star Press can do it better than Kidman. He gets no height, he has no form, he has no distance, he veers off to one side and I've seen him hook his leg on the rope (leading to a botch) on 3 separate occasions.

I saw a clip of when Lesnar successfully hit one. He went all the way to the middle of the ring, Essa Rios style.

YES, for god sakes YES. This is the WWE's problems with tag teams these days. Nobody gets names. It's just werstler x and wrestler x. Nobody is made to look like a team anymore.

This is the one reason why I LOVE La Resistance. They have a Team Name, Similar Robes they wear to the ring and a Team Finisher.

Now, they seem to be doing this with Kidman/London. They now have matching entrance attire and theme music. They are trying to be booked as the Rockers, which is how they should be booked. Funny thing in the Observer, they mentioned that they looked more like the Young Stallions. haha.

But yeah, they definately need a team name. I like the "Shooting Stars" Name that Cynick mentined.

I'm sorry but if I heard shooting stars, I'd expected Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimor to come bouncing down to the ring accompanied by George Doors (joke for the Brits there)

It seems like I read/heard that he had a bad experience with it once, and now he gets really nervous when he does it, which is why he doesn't do it well.

You know the obvious solution to that problem? Get a different finisher. Let London do the London Calling, and Kidman can either stick with the BK Bomb, go back to his old Kid Krusher (even though it's an Unprettier rip-off), or do something like a frogsplash or guillotine legdrop.

I love that London and Kidman are champs. Does anyone know of a link of e-mail address where I can write to the WWE itself and approve of this decision. I think this is something we all should do because, especially by judging from this discussion, this is one of very few things that the internet is agreeing on and actually liking. So why not make our voices heard?

I think a good idea for merchandise would be a shirt that had a giant "L" with "ondon" coming off it, and "ive" right under it, and then a giant "&" then "K" with "idman" coming off it and "icking" coming off under that. :y:
