I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll be buying it for myself. It looks good...

Yeah, I'm pretty hyped for this. Pretty hot stuff in this one.

This will keep me busy until San Andreas comes out.

genetics and aging look cool, but I remember how hyped up I was for the original with all it's promise, then was let down

I'll definatly give it a try at some point though

I played the sims on GC. 15 minutes later, I returned it to the video store.

Man am I glad I didn't buy all those add on packs.

The console ones are far worse than the PC ones and I don't like the PC ones either

Sims get boring and stale after a few hours. At least to me they do. :-\

I think the appeal for me, was being able to run someone's life, including killing them if I wanted to.

Heh, apparantly, thats gonna be harder and be "realistic". Shame, because I used a Beavis and a Butthead skin and made them gay. OH THE HILARITY!

Just the killing aprt was interesting to me on the first one. Small room + mini bar + no way out = dieing in their own piss

I dunno bout buyin Sims 2. I did get the first one and enjoyed kiillin them all anyway possible.

I had them all.....Then my pc destroyed a few of them by smashing them into little peices.EA told me to go screw myself cos it wasn't there fault.So I was gonna sell the rest of them but my mum GAVE them away :eek:
I doubt I'll be allowed to get Sims 2 cos my mum will think it'll mess the PC up again and I doubt my PC could handle it anyways.

I really liked the Sims for about a month or so, then I sorta stopped playing. I probably won't be getting The Sims 2, as it seems to be pretty similar gameplay wise, just a bunch of added features and beefed up graphics.

My friend had a videocard that wouldn't work and he brought it back after trying to install it and they gave him full credit back and he bought Fable. I want to do the same after I've installed the game.

It is such a huge improvement from the first lot of games. The 3D engine is amazing, and I like all the new features it has. Top game :cool:

The game is great, I got it on Wedensday... Very fun, still getting the hang of it... :p

Ok.I suck at all the Pc specs stuff so does anyone know what specs your pc has to be for Sims 2 to work? I have Windows XP,does that mean it will work? Any help wil be great :y:

Can you still invite your neighbours over, build a fence around them, and keep them as a pet? Becuase that was the biggest appeal of The Sims. Oh, and inviting neighbours into your pool and removing the ladder to get out.

those pics got me pretty interested.I like the sound of the whole babies thing.I didnt like the way the just popped up in the other games.

Oh, I'm quite intent on buying it if I enjoy it. I've never enjoyed a sims game before, but have heard good things about this one and want to see it in action before paying the money for it. And thank you Hasney.

Yeah it used to work great for me but then I switched my graphics card and now the sims crash a few minutes into the game but all my other games work better then ever.

I need to upgrade my pc.Isnt it about 30 or 40 pounds to upgrade?

Mine runs great... Just a bit of slowdown when a vehicle comes onto the lot... I run it on 100% (All options set to full)...

I have to admit I want to play Sims 2 more than GTA:SA and SD Vs RAW :shifty:

I reinstalled it yesterday and now it works great again. I hate admitting how much fun this game is. Its so much hotter then the first.

What's the music like this time 'round? I seem to remember it being pretty annoying in the first one.

I didnt really count... Maybe about 5 or 6 hours from birth to old age death... I havent gone through a whole life in one sitting, so I dunno...

About the same, but you can put custom music in once again...

Does anyone know how to buy a damn fridge?! When I click onto the buy mode, my appliances link has been disabled, so my sims have been living off pizza
