So it's going to be a short list of these faces (i asume)

Y2J
Edge (maybe if fit)
Orton

Tell every single muther fucker you know to vote for Jericho, and maybe, just maybe the writers may actually pay attention

I *think* I recall hearing about this, but that might have been a halucination or something. So RAW's Oct. PPV is really called Taboo Tuesday? And why is it being held on a Tuesday?

Yep... They're also having No Mercy, so it's a double month... I suppose that they're trying out to see if people would buy on a Tuesday, so if they go with a 2 PPV every month schedule (Besides the big 4), they can have one on a Tuesday and one on a Sunday...

I don't think Jericho would make it onto the list. He's the Intercontinental Champion, and he's got a good chance of winning the poll. Randy Orton would be on there, and I think marks will vote for him (and the WWE will probably rig it, too). Benjamin, maybe, but he won't win. Benoit is another option, but again, I think it will be rigged. Maybe William Regal as the last option.

All of those guys have a feud built up with Triple H, so really, if the WWE doesn't rig it, storyline wise, the match is set. All have wrestling talent as well, so I think we'd be in for a treat. The way they wouldn't know the winner until a few days before is telling me its liking for a Triple H retaination, however I could see it going either way.

Jericho should be the champ again. HHH should go make movies. Pornos.

Sadly no matter what we say its gonna be Orton vs HHH at the ppv. Untill the WWE shows the results after make a vote I will have to believe that the voting is rigged. Its the only way to prove to the fans that they play a part. It might be rigged even after we see the results but its the least they could do.

Well an easy way to see if it was rigged would be to get all net fans all over the world to vote for a complete outsider (this only works if there's no short list) then if everyone on these boards keeps track of how many votes were made we know if it's rigged when they show how many people voted and what percentages they were.

So say we get everyone we know to vote for say Hurricane and we get 10,000 votes (as an example) when they show the figures and announce that the winner is say Orton with 100,000 voted and had 50% of the vote that means that they would have to show Hurricane in the Top 5 with at least 10% of the vote.

This is only an example i know the realy numbers would be different, but if enough people do it it could work

I dont exactly how this will be handled on the website or using the phone, but I'm about 150% sure it will be a work.

Since HHH always has to have big gimmicks on the RAW exclusive shows, I kinda expect this to be an Elimination Chamber Match with the 6 guys that closed off RAW last week. You play it off that Evo will just be there to help Hunter retain and the faces will be on their own. That continues the HHH-Orton program, without doing another (boring) match one on one.

On the issue of whether or not the poll is rigged:

Never underestimate the power of a really REALLY stupid mark. Chances are, the WWE won't even have to rig the damn thing because there are so many stupid people out there who think "Gee, Orton sure does want revenge on HHH. I want him to get a rematch!" and so we never get to see that HHH/ Y2J match. It's not an issue of the writers rigging the poll, but rather an issue of the writers spoonfeeding us these storylines that create such an automatic knee-jerk responce in all of the marks out there that smarks like us don't get a change.

And then we (when I say we, I mean the people who will be bitching on "Post-Taboo Wednesday"...and trust me, you will. Guarenteed.) will be too wrapped up in our own little TPWW world where everybody knows that Y2J is the best entertainer there is, that we will just bawl on and on without realizing that the contest wasn't rigged at all.

A) if you go by the crowd reactions to young Randall, I dont think he would get more than 20 or 30 votes, and most of those would be LC voting multiple times.

B) the average fan wont even participate in any kind of web/call in poll. Its only the hardcore fans that will do that. Using that logic a guy like Jericho or Benoit would win the poll, more likely Jericho. On top of that if it was rigged, people would get together and vote for someone dumb like Gene Snitski just to be jackasses. Of course the WWE isn't going to allow that to happen, os it has to be worked.

It's a ploy to bring Lesnar back...half way throught the PPV he will just beat the shit out of eveyone involved...

I'm going to vote Jericho :o I want to see him in a main event Title match.

It's definately rigged. If they left it up to us it would be Jericho. He's currently in a feud with Christian, not to mention the IC champ, also, it would ruin weeks of build-up between Orton and HHH. They wouldn't leave something like this to chance and the possibility of being made to look stupid.

I'd be creaming my pants knowing that Jericho would get a title shot if I wasn't certain the voting is a work.

I think that after Taboo Tuesday, after the person who was chosen to face HHH loses, all five of the guys who were on the list of people to vote for to face HHH will get mad at each other or some shit. then Bischoff will announce that at the next PPV there will be an elmination chamber with all five guys and Triple H.

Well if it is genuine then surely the fans are voting for who will job to HHH? Or at best get a DQ win or some other shit like that. Theres no way that a genuinely voted contender is going to win, because that means all their storylines will have to be re written inside a week.

Releastically the only way HHH is losing the belt is if Orton is scripted to "win" the vote and beat him for the title and continuing their feud. There sadly is no plausible chance of any other guy winning it from Trips.
