This fairness range is pretty stupid since it is totally subjective and decided by one person only. You should keep it the way you originally had it, where people had to explain if they give lower than 6.You could also add to that though and tell them to explain if they rate over 9, for instance.

Are you insane? His peers have next to nothing good to say about his work and he hasn't had anything close to a great match other than one tag match against the Steiners who would have made Steve McMichael look like Steve Austin at that time.

lol, Sting tied with Jericho. Unreal. This is going to be fun rating Lugar. Basically the only time I ever liked Lugar was when he won the Title from Hogan on Nitro. Cool Moment.

Then there is the fact that in the ring, he was always just the guy with muscles, but that was a good half of the WWF and WCW, so he goes to 4.

I think Luger is one of the biggest wastes of space in wrestling history, a classic example of how a good look goes over wrestling talent.

I bet you never seen Luger before he join WWF. Luger used to be one hell of a wrestler and better than 95% of the WWE roster today. He had classic matches with Flair and Sting. Luger and Sting vs.Steiners at the first ever Superbrawl is the best non gimmick tag match ever. Flair vs.Luger at the Clash of the Champions in 91 was amazing and is a instant classic.


Ring Ability: 8.5 because he knew how to tell a story,he knew how to get the crowd involve which is the most important factor,he was simply amazing in his early days(pre-roids).
Overness: 9,this guy can show up in WWE today and draw more crowd reaction than most of the roster. He was huge in the 90's.
Work Rate: 7.5 because once he start using steroids he got lazy
Mic Skills: 8,he got the job done without having to use catchphrases
Politics:9,because he always kept himself from mid card hell

I'll rate him a 2. I think Luger has got to be one of the worst individuals to have stepped into a ring. Fair enough, guys like Hardcore Holly and JBL get plenty of stick and they deserve it, but at least they show some commitment to the business and try to put on an alright match.

Luger was more concerned about taking roids and having the perfect body rather than improving upon his wrestling ability (the little that he did have), and I have heard stories as to how he once went touring around Europe and the promoter stopped putting him in the Main-Events because he was so awful and lazy.

Oh God! Where do I start with this dude?

For the record, I watched WCW/NWA years before I watched WWE. Luger was better than 95% of the current WWE roster? DID YOU WATCH WCW BEFORE LUGER JOINED THE WWF!!! Oh God! And the award for "Most Stupid Comment on a Internet Wrestling Board" goes to.... this dude. I'd struggle hard to think of 5 workers in the WWE now that Luger was better than at his peak.

Flair vs. Luger was good but trust me, that had something to do with his opponent. The fact he hasn't had a good match since should tell you that. Flair was having great match after great match with EVERYONE at that time. Road Warrior Hawk, Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Ricky Morton, Rickey Steamboat, Brian Pillman, Ronnie Garvin, etc.

Ring ability - I don't know what comment was worse. On one hand you think Luger was able to tell a story and on the other hand, you think he had a period he didn't do roids. HE HAS ALWAYS DONE STEROIDS!!! You think that body was ever natural? And if you think he is a 8.5, Jesus! What would you give Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Chris Benoit? Overness - When did Luger ever draw a buyrate in WCW or WWF? When did he ever sell out a show? He did well for his ability early in his career but it's been all downhill since 1991. The guy was scheduled to main event WrestleMania 10 with a years build up and they changed it practically at the last minute because he can't draw flies with two handfulls of sh</>it. If he should up in WWE tomorrow, nobody would know, nor care who he is.

Work rate - Get glasses and read a book pal. Pre steroids? Did you know Luger when he was 13?

Mic skills - I don't recall one good promo ever from this dude. The best of the bunch where when he was in the WBF and Vince McMahon was writing them and they were pre-recorded.

Politics - The guy was a master politician. How you can even give credit for something like this anyway is unbelievable. You should be giving credit to those who don't manipulate people, not those who do. Aside from Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, I don't know of one wrestler who did less to earn his money than this guy did.

Secondly if he was over as huge as you say then why did the WWE not give him the title and why did they decide that he couldn't draw so they didn't give him the title and instead they gave it to Bret.

Thirdly I didn't know that he was ever a WCW champ but if he did then I expect that the crowd reaction was due to his opponent. May I remind you that WCW fans hated Hogan with a passion. They would have gone nuts for anyone that would have beaten him.

Last but not least how can you praise people that stab others in the back to get ahead and hold them down. Bret, Rock or Austin didn't use politics at nearly the same rate as guys like Luger or Hogan. Jericho and Benoit suck at politics. My ass. Even without using politics these guys willl be remembered as guys the WWE had faith in to maek champions which can't be said for Luger and they will be remembered for being great wrestlers. What will Lex be remembered for?

Terrible.

First of all, Luger got a "MEGA POP" with his win over Hogan because of the dam situation. THE nWo were killing WCW and Hogan seemed unstoppable. He had the Title for a while and everybody wanted to see him lose. So you just take anybody out of that WCW lockeroom, have him beat Hogan for the Title, and I guarantee that place would have reacted just the same. Pul El Dandy in there instaed of Luger and people would of popped like that. It's the Heat of the Moment.

Glad to see people thinking it's okay for guys to use politics. Guys should be looked down upon for doing that, not praised. Shows how much class you have.

He never messes up a promo? Do you think that's what mic skills are about. It's real easy to have someone write "I'm going to beat Hogan with everything I got" for you and not mess it up in front of the camera. Mic Skills are about grasping the audience in the palm of your hands and delievering your message in a way in which the audience can understand where your character is coming from.
