9.3. Aside from his politics, I don't really have a problem with him. His matches aren't AS good as they used to be, but they have improved since his decline in 02-03.

I don' want to, but he is very good in the ring and on the mic. He has one of the most known finishers in the business and could be the best heel today.

9.2, I hate the man for the politics but damn it, he is a great wrestler and one of the best on the mic. He is that DAMN good.

I give him a 9.His mic work is always keeps me on the edge of my seat.He can carry almost anyone in the ring.He is one of the big 3 reasons why we are watching WWE and not WCW.

Few years back I would've gived him at least a 9, but nowadays he just doesn't deliver the way he used to, after the quad tear his ring ability hasn't been quite the same. He's good on the mic but even he can't carry his 30 minute promos, so he tends to be a bit boring. His finisher is one of the best things about him, Pedigree is one of my all time favourites.

Oh, and his 9-12 month title reigns drop his points down... big time!

Triple H is an awesome wrestler in ring wise and a great heel, he can piss off a crowd and all. Gave him a 9 due to backstage.

I dont agree with his ethics over the past two years, but he is a solid technical worker and has impressed in the past.

Politics is for SMARKS

HHH gets a 10, he always stay on top of his game and his 2000 run had to been the greatest heel title run in history. He had the Streetfight and HIAC classics with Jack. He had the best Iron Man Match in history with Rock and that just the classic matches. Don't forget about the ladder match with Rock in 98. The two title matches with Jericho in 2000, Jericho best WWE matches to date. HHH vs.Austin at NO WAY OUT classic. HHH/Austin vs. Jericho/Beniot classic from Raw. How about HHH vs.Jeff Hardy from Smackdown when HHH made Hardy look like the biggest star.I can go on and on.

How about the classic matches these last two years? vs. HBK on the last Raw of 2003. Mania and Backlash main event. His HIAC match with HBK is not a classic but pretty damn good. The 60 minute IRON MAN Match on with Benoit were great as well. He carry Orton to a good match.

Don't forget about his DX stuff. People seem to forgot that HHH carry that group. HHH made The Rock career if you ask me.

I gotta agree with that, but I judged the guy on his whole career. 2000 and 2001 saved his ass from a score like that.

9 - I'll only judge him on his wrestling ability and not his politics. I would have given him a 10 had this poll been done 3 years ago, but the quality of his matches has suffered in recent years

You have got to be joking. HHH has minimal technical skill.

He uses the main eventer style: 50% brawling, 20% simple slams/suplexes, 5% rest holds, 5% submission holds/joint locks, 15% weapons and 5% huge spots.

Cris Benoit is one of the best technicians, half of all 4 Japanese islands are great technical wrestlers, HHH is not.

5. He's extremely boring on the mic, he's dull in the ring (though getting better), he won't put anybody over, and he's ALWAYS on TV, hogging TV time and taking Raw down to ass-sucking land. The guy is a douche bag.

I think we should all stick to one theme and rate the wrestlers based on their WHOLE CAREER. It really makes no sense to me to rate guys based on how they are doing now.

HHH gets a 9.1 from me.

I agree completely, also rating some indy, do nothing ever wrestler better than Flair and Hogan, honest to god legends, it makes no sence.

Nobody has ever done for the business what this guy has. Even though he's a walking ego backstage, HHH is the master and commander of the WWE as far as wrestling (and not to mention, politics) goes.

Seeing as how the fans aren't even supposed to know about backstage politics, I really don't see how you can just rail him for it in your grading... but whatever. Your opinion I guess.

9.2 - Which places him right on the level with Brian Pillman, Shawn Michaels, and Arn Anderson.

While he's quite annoying from the aspect of backstage politics, the man is unquestionably an important presence in today's WWE? Remember back during the draft when we thought HHH would jump to Smackdown!, and we all rejoiced that they were going to save the show? That's how much impact the guy has. Remember when Shelton Benjamin defeated HHH, and we all came to the conclusion that Shelton was the cat's boots? Would we have thought the same way if Shelton had defeated anyone else lower on the card? The only name I can think of on the active Raw roster that would have the same impact would be Shawn Michaels.

He's horribly possessive of his role, sure. But, this year, he's also been willing to put over Benoit, Benjamin, and Tajiri. The guy seems to have turned a corner. I find it hard to blame him for his current title run, either --- that seems more of a case of the writers pushing Randy Orton too soon. Also, it's hard to deny the impact that Degeration X, the Rock-HHH feud, and Evolution have had in the WWE.

I'd give him a 2 anyway, he sucks and I have no clue how he got where he is. And by the way I haven't just thought this in recent years I've been saying he sucks since I first seen him, he should be an upper mid-carder if even that high.

never a massive fan of the pedigree, and because sometimes he doesnt realise the opponents arms early enough, they can either get hurt or they have to put their knee down, which looks awful!

However, he has really screwed up the careers of three of my four favourite wrestlers: Booker T, RVD and Y2J. Plus he may be THAT DAMN GOOD, but he's held the title TOO DAMN LONG! :nono:
In saying that, he has been the number 1 most consistent wrestler throughout the last 6 odd years, whilst guys like HBK, Austin, Rock and Lesner have not been able, or simply have not stuck around.
