A historic Monday Night RAW will take place this week as World Wrestling Entertainment invades Manchester, England.



The largest arena in the United Kingdom has been sold out for weeks, waiting for what’s sure to be another explosive evening of RAW action.



In a huge six-man tag team match, all three members of Evolution (Triple H, Ric Flair and Batista) will team up to take on the dangerous trio of Edge, Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit. Undoubtedly, Edge, HBK and Benoit will be out to prove that they deserve the shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Taboo Tuesday. Will any of them be able to impress the fans? In a Women's Championship match, Stacy Keibler will challenge champion Trish Stratus.

Hopefully, we'll get something special tonight. RAW in the UK for the first time is sort of a big deal, so hopefully they'll pull out all the stops.

Personally, I hope La Res retain the belts, because I'm not crazy about makeshift Tag Team Champions like Regal and Eugene. They're a team, yes, but not in the same way as La Res (or Hurricane/Rosey or Rhyno/Tajiri, who have teamed almost weekly).

I also hope Stacy gets destroyed by Trish. It was bad enough that Stacy beat Molly Holly (it's the equivalent of Todd Grisham pinning Shawn Michaels, imo), if she goes over the Women's Champion, that division is finished.

Maybe the debut of Simon Dean? It wouldn't be big, but I think the character has the chance at being really entertaining.

Personally, I'm kind of hoping for an Edge heel turn tonight. It's been hinted at for a while, and it would give him an interesting story. Obviously, he shouldn't align with Evolution, as he's one of the contenders for Trips' title, but it could lead to an alliance with Christian, Tomko, and Trish that could lead to some dynamite promos (and grunting from Tomko).

I'm thinking about writing a RAW Recap (like my Velocity and Heat recaps). But, if I do that, I won't be able to change channels during Evolution promos or anything involving Lita.

The problem with the Women's Division is that most of the talented workers are heels (Trish, Molly, and Gail). Victoria is the only talented face, and Trish is the most over heel so they're the only two logical choices I can see feuding for the Women's Title. Stacy Keibler is over as well, but she's eye candy (and nice eye candy at that) not a wrestler. Judging the pop Victoria received over Nidia, she should be the #1 contender.
