TABOO FALLOUT
Oct. 25, 2004

WWE.com has just received word that the new Intercontinental Champion will be defending the gold against the former champion when Shelton Benjamin battles Chris Jericho this week on Monday Night RAW. Will the fans be in Benjamin's corner this week like they were last Tuesday? Or will they be pulling for another title change? Tune in to RAW to find out.

Last week at Taboo Tuesday, Edge became one-half of the World Tag Team Champions. The only catch was that he wasn't even in the building. An upset Edge left the arena during his match, forcing Chris Benoit to battle La Resistance by himself. Amazingly, Benoit pulled off the victory. This week on RAW, find out what was going through Edge's mind. Why did he leave? What is in his future? Only RAW has those answers.

Don’t miss RAW (9/8 CT Spike TV)

Loose Cannon 10-25-2004 10:23 PM

There ya go.

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 10:30 PM

As for Benjamin winning the title...cool but I am not sure about him just yet... the exploder suplex is pretty cool and the 360 enzigury is different.

The tag team title win is good for Benoit but it really kills off La Resistance (the only good tag team on RAW, so I guess it doesn't matter anyways since there is only one).

It makes them look week, but the WWE hav an opportunity to jump start the tag scene. With Benoit as a dual champion, he should have a big target and the WWE could use this to create buzz. Every week, it could be "who are going to be the ones to take down this unstoppable machine?"

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:07 PM

^
That would be awesome. We'll see where the WWE takes it tonight. I hope they do not make Benoit choose a partner.

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:20 PM

Wow are they showing the whole Eugene Bishoff match? Hmmm strange...

McLegend 10-25-2004 11:20 PM

I thought they weren't allowed to show PPV matches on regular TV.

V 10-25-2004 11:20 PM

wow they're showing teh full match from the payperview, the best match of the payperview too

god fucking damn stop wasting air time

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:21 PM

Why exactly are they showing this whole match! It is terrible...

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:22 PM

This better not be a review of TT night or else I'm going to be fucking pissed. I mean why would they start the show with this shit?

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:23 PM

What the fuck is this

Gone Mad 10-25-2004 11:23 PM

HI EVERYBODY ! [/Dr. Nick]

Alright... I didn't want to see it the first time.. I don't want to see it again. But I guess there are vital plotlines here in this match....

Would you prefere a HHH promo?

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:25 PM

why am i wasting my time watching this... Monday Night Football.....

Gone Mad 10-25-2004 11:25 PM

..Again, I thought that I was watching 'WWE Experience'.. show me live crap already, damn it!

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:26 PM

At this point yes

Anything is better than this shit. Because a HHH promo leads to him asking Flair what the hell was that all about at TT which will then lead to Orton coming out, which will then lead to me creaming my pants.

So yes I want HHH

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:27 PM

I got off work and everything tonight and for what, to see this shit

Boondock Saint 10-25-2004 11:27 PM

WTF IS THIS.

I hope Bischoff goes back to keeping his grey hair. He looked badass with that. That's the only good that can come from this match.

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:27 PM

LOL at Bisch looking thuggish

V 10-25-2004 11:28 PM

8% of the show wasted on that people, and that includes commercial time

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:28 PM

YES BISHOFF IS LEAVING!... hopefully.... WE WANT SHANE!

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:28 PM

Waste of PPV time and now a waste of TV time.

Steph's in charge tonight! That is all I have to say.

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:29 PM

Bischoff looks like Sean Connery

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:29 PM

Stephanie is writing the show tonight

V 10-25-2004 11:29 PM

stephanie's coming

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:29 PM

Hel looks pretty mean with that haircut and beard

Mister Sinister 10-25-2004 11:29 PM

Oh Great, Here come Steph

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:30 PM

That had to of been the worst opening to RAW in history

Gone Mad 10-25-2004 11:30 PM

The Bisch looks better with that hair. BAWGAWD, INMATES RUN THE.. WHAT?... I thought that place was in Orlando ..and that it belonged to TNA.

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:30 PM

Good put the belt back on Jericho

Why do I get the feeling tonight will be 20 minutes of matches and 90 minutes of HHH

McLegend 10-25-2004 11:30 PM

I liked that look for Bischoff

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:31 PM

Also, we should get this thread past 4 pages this week. Come on guys

Boondock Saint 10-25-2004 11:32 PM

HALOOOOOOO

Thriller 10-25-2004 11:32 PM

Holy shit he hasnt even been on Tv yet and everyones bitching about him.

Danny Electric 10-25-2004 11:32 PM

<HR>
- In what was said to be the highlight among TNA workers upon Scott Hall's backstage appearance at the Impact! tapings last week in Orlando, Jeff Jarrett held a talent meeting at ringside that got very interesting.

The meeting, which was said to be nothing special, basically saw Jarrett inform the workers about next week's double tapings with Impact! on Tuesday and the "Best Damn Sports Show Period" on Wednesday. Some TNA workers said Jarrett may have held the meeting to show Hall how much of an authority figure he is in TNA. Even if that was the case or not, Hall quickly showed everyone around him that he had no respect for Jarrett in the first place.

As Jarrett was speaking at the ringside area to the workers in the bleachers, Hall mocked him from behind many times. When Jarrett brought up how everyone needed to show up on time to the tapings, Hall began running in place. As Jarrett continued to speak, Hall climbed inside the ring and began doing several crotch chops behind an unsuspecting Jarrett. A few TNA workers were said to be fighting back laughter, but most did their best to keep a straight face.

See what I told you.....90 minutes of HHH....What the fuck is Flair doing with Evo

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:34 PM

We just had a recap, then a promo, now another promo??????

Gone Mad 10-25-2004 11:34 PM

If the rest of the show was like the beginning, we will be lucky to have at least 3 pages.

And here comes Stephanie's husband... That guy!

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:34 PM

WRESTLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please

MVP 10-25-2004 11:35 PM

Bischoff looks like a 50 year old version of Che the Revolutionary.

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:35 PM

What the fuck, Michaels is on RAW after having knee surgery   :D

Also, for those who do not know, his surgery was successful.

McLegend 10-25-2004 11:35 PM

Thats a nice suit HHH has on.

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:36 PM

Evolution should name a new fuckin member

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:37 PM

HAHA, that's hilarious.

HHH: It's not because I'm the Champion
HHH: It's because I'm married to the boss's daugh....I mean it's better to be in numbers.

Orton right now dammit

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:37 PM

Flair wants a nice little vrigin..

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:38 PM

Orton/Flair tonight. HHH comes in and Orton and Flair kick HHH's ass. Holy shit, that would be sweet.

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:39 PM

But you gotta love Flair

Boondock Saint 10-25-2004 11:39 PM

ORTTOOON

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:39 PM

Oh yes, Orton's on the Mic

Gone Mad 10-25-2004 11:40 PM

What is this? Taboo Monday?! ...so far, three matches already,,

**** ORTON!!! ****

V 10-25-2004 11:40 PM

RKO CHANT

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:41 PM

SHUT UP YOU FANS!! STOP THAT CHANT... god they are ruining randy..

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:41 PM

Orton/Benoit/Edge vs Evo. Edge turns on his team and joins Evo.

Volchok 10-25-2004 11:42 PM

why is Orton the only one the rematch clause is ineffective for... or did i miss his rematch?

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:42 PM

LOL Orton is fucking gold.

Orton IS DA MAN

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:44 PM

I thought Evolution was just running the show tonight? Why is Triple H making matches... Oh right forgot who is backstage

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:44 PM

There's the hinting of the dropping of the seed. Flair wins, Orton wins Rumble, Orton wins WM21.

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:44 PM

Spoiler.. Orton wins the 2005 Royal Rumble... seen it before with Benoit last year with the "never ever ever gonna get a shot"

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:44 PM

LOL AT NAITCH FALLING DOWN IN THE RING

MVP 10-25-2004 11:45 PM

Sounds like Steph personally wrote Triple H's script tonight. It's exactly what Paul Heyman said to Benoit last year about getting a title shot against Lesnar.

Mr. JL 10-25-2004 11:45 PM

If the next segment is a promo I am going to kill someone

First of all this is the WWE so that won't matter in 2 months.

2nd of all Bret Hart on WWE TV

I agree. We can only hope they follow it up with something cool. If Bischoff is fine next week or something with no mention of it, I'll be pissed.

Rain Man 10-25-2004 11:55 PM

Damn good match so far

Splaya 10-25-2004 11:55 PM

Since we are still talking about Bischoff, I was so hoping that when he was coming out in the beginning of the show that he wasn't going to be wearing a wig. Now, he just seems like a menace waiting to happen. And yeah, they better not screw with this.

Honestly, if the inmates run the Asyleum (sp?.. like TNA?), why does Jericho just beat HHH and take his ti.. **reminds self of who's writing tonight**.. Oh..

Splaya 10-26-2004 12:02 AM

LOL

JR: That count was like 2 and 7/8ths.

Ok cause we so measure the counts down to inches now.
