Carlito Cool: Worst wrestling character ever created....
 

You want to talk about guys like Viscera and Naked Mideon being the worst wrestling characters ever created, I would disagree with that and don't find those two that bad. I quite like Viscera, and Viscera was looking good on his last run with JBL, Viscera did a good job on his last appearrance run. I thought Naked Mideon was funny shit. :lol:

But if you want to talk about worst wrestling characters ever created it would be that Carlito dude. He is the reason I don't watch SD anymore. :|

Now granted, its only what 3 weeks in? So he culde asily fall flat on his face. But for right now, I think the gimmick is working out really well.

Oh OK, that's good to hear. But I think some outside interviewer made a point out of Al Snow's "Head" encouraging violence towards women. You never know what this may turn into. I would have just kept his name Aaron Aguilera, that way you have the alliteration thing going with Carlito Caribbean Cool & Aaron Aguilera.

When I read the spoilers that Carlito was going to win the US title that week, I was seriously pissed off, but now that I've seen him, I have to admit that he's making it work. He's more than your standard heel, and he plays his character perfectly. I'm really looking forward to seeing some good stuff out of him.

Carlito is one of the only reasons I do watch SD!. CCC is the man. I'm loving the character and his in-ring work is fairly impressive as well.

anyway, i havent seen smackdown for a while (cos of exams), but Carlito seemed pretty cool. i love his entrance too!

Seriously, though, Carlito is very entertaining. Yes, his gimmick is a ripoff of Razor Ramon's, but he plays it to the absolute hilt. I hate that he talks during his theme, but his mannerisms are top-notch, and his promos are...cool. Using Aguilera as muscle is a good idea. I only hope that Aguilera turns out to be more of a Luther Reigns-style big man and not a Heidenreich-style (although, I gotta admit, Heidenreich is doing well in his new persona. If only he could wrestle).

Putting the U.S. belt on Carlito was a bold move, but I think it should pay off.

Carlito is ..well, cool for now. I insulted him before for the supposed Razor Ramon rip-off but in reality, Carlito's gimmick is from his father who was one of the top wrestlers in Puerto Rico. But yes, not to fall with the crowd, he is a good wrestler and has that charisma to succeed.

All that really hurts him is receiving the US title early... and maybe that hair, even if that is what gives him some personality.

Sorry to bump this thread up again...

But think about this... every wrestling board shares a similar opinion. And you disagree. You claim that CCC is a horrible character, despite the fact that 99.9% of everyone else loves him. Doesn't that indicate that you're a moron?

If Carlito were on RAW, Orton would've hocked that huge loogie on him instead of Mick Foley like he did when he was still with evo-craption.

And also, just thought I'd say I would too if I were Cena, for a)Stealing my U.S. Championship gold jewelry and for b) the bar stabbing incident, cuz it's obvious to me they're going to have Carlito arrested and thrown in jail one week, then Teddy Long will say the next week that Carlito is suspended indefinitely pending a trial, then 3 weeks later, say, we find out that there is a lack of evidence to take Carlito to trial, therefore, he can return to SmackDown!, but then Cena interrupts Long to everyone's delight, and challenges Carlito to a U.S. Championship match, at say, WM 21...I just thought of that as one way to continue that storyline for a while because of the simple fact that in WWE, you don't commit the cardinal sin of wrestling like vince did: He let a new guy debut on SmackDown! and the first night he STEALS (NOT WINS) a belt, we all know which one, and he gets an OUTRAGEOUSLY INSANE heel push! This **** is starting to get fucking ridiculous...plus there's no real point to Heidenreich's gimmick, or Snitsky's for that matter, both woulda been outta there soon if I were in charge of things. Along with Carlito...the gimmick makes no sense with a belt on him; Maybe before it ends up back in Cena's hands somewhere down the line, they should give RVD a push with the U.S. belt, after all, he HAS been the IC champ on RAW, which is the equivalent to the U.S. Championship, then late next year RVD could get a main event push, maybe even become WWE Champ before '06.

The mere fact that you would even THINK of getting rid of Snitsky makes your opinion worthless.

No offense to those who like carlito but no pun intended when I say he's NOT cool at all. He can't wrestle worth a damn as was proven when he basically stole Cena's US belt and the chain, and now all he does is spit the apple in somebody's face every week. Who cares that he's in the classic survivor series match? All he'll do is when it's down to him and cena is just lay down and get pinned in 3 seconds losing the match for his team as Cena lays him out with the belt (with the chain wrapped around the part that cena hits him in the head with), Cena takes his chain back puts it around his neck and poses with the belt, camera shot of carlito busted wide open, and carlito goes on vacation once the camera is off him. Carlito is so uncool he HATES everyone from everybody loves Raymond most of all Ray Romano, and he would probably spit apple in everyone else's face on the showif he was given the opportunity!
