Where did all you Giants fans come from?

It seems like 60% of the forum love the Giants. Are you all from NY or what?

Show yourselves and your location.

Jerichoholic 11-01-2004 02:21 AM

You will not believe this but I was just thinking the same thing!!!!!!

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-01-2004 02:21 AM

Ballston Spa, New York. 45 Minutes North of Albany, the capital.

Dad is a Giants fan, so am I.

I'm NO BANDWAGONER.

Triple A 11-01-2004 02:25 AM

45 mins north of Albany. You might as well be from Canada or Maine or something gay like that.

Gonzo 11-01-2004 02:25 AM

2 hours to Canada, 2 to NYC and the NJ border.

Fuck Canada.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-01-2004 02:25 AM

lol Maine

Gonzo 11-01-2004 02:26 AM

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-01-2004 02:27 AM

Triple A 11-01-2004 02:31 AM

road doggy dogg 11-01-2004 02:42 AM

I hate the Giants

road doggy dogg 11-01-2004 02:42 AM

Actually, come to think of it, I pretty much hate the entire NFC East

Took 11-01-2004 02:48 AM

The Giants rule..they just fucking own you all.

Been a fan since the season after they won the superbowl..that's cuz up in canada, we dont have any teams, and I finally got old enough to get the game. The Giants are the team most played on my local fox station, fox44.
I've been a fan ever since Hostetler won them the superbowl.
BTW, I'm from Montreal.

The Highlander 11-01-2004 02:51 AM

I've noticed as teams suddenly get good, "lifelong" fans seem to show up for that team. Tampa, Philly, New England, Oakland, New York Giants, and after today, I'm sure, Pittsburgh.

I'm a bit worried that due to the fact I'm new at TPWW, I'll be accused of bandwagon jumping, dispite having been a Steelers fan for 13 years, and am known in my hometown as "Pittsburgh" by the many Browns and Bengals fans.

The Icon of Elisim 11-01-2004 02:53 AM

Well Fox shows like every Giants game they can so it makes sense that people are in love with them.

Myself, I am not

BCWWF 11-01-2004 02:53 AM

Thats not North of Albany at all. The Adirondacks are North of Albany.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-01-2004 02:54 AM

People werent talking about them because they just werent that good, I don't think its bandwagoning...What are you going to talk about? How bad they are? What's the point? Now that they are good you got shit to talk about...thats all.

Triple A 11-01-2004 03:02 AM

Shut the fuck up. I said it is farther than Albany.

The Highlander 11-01-2004 03:04 AM

At TheMayhem, TXF, and other forums, I talked about where the Steelers need to improve, why Lee Flowers sucks, ect. I spent a lot of time talking about them last season when they ended up 6-10, and ended up getting a "Biggest team mark" award.

Kris P Lettus 11-01-2004 03:06 AM

I'm a Saints fan..

I do like Eli though..

Hotty Toddy

BabyHugger 11-01-2004 05:09 AM

Been a Giants fan all my life (and have made it known every season since 2001 when I first joined).

I live in Danbury, CT so there's no really close team. But Giants Stadium is still only like 2 hours away. I went to the Week 3 game against the Browns and I'm probably gonna be going to next week's game against the Bears.

BCWWF 11-01-2004 01:59 PM

What are you talking about? He said he was north of Albany when he is due west of it. That made sense though.

DaveBrawl 11-01-2004 04:43 PM

Denver Broncos fan from Virginia, they truely shamed me yesterday. Plummer was throwing to everyone in the stadium from the looks of the numbers.

OssMan 11-01-2004 04:52 PM

lol you are from Blacksburg.

DaveBrawl 11-01-2004 04:55 PM

No I just put it since I'm at college here (ironically Michael Vick's college Virginia Tech). I'm actually from Castleton Virginia.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2004 05:26 PM

Fuck the Giants...

Keep with this love of the Jets though. :y:

AFC EAST CHAMPIONS!!!

BCWWF 11-01-2004 07:07 PM

Have you given up on the Bears yet?

LOL. Cheer for Buffalo.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:42 PM

Oh and the Giants can go to hell.

Triple A 11-01-2004 07:44 PM

Shut the hell up. Why would you hate the Giants. Because you like the Jets? That is the gayest shit ever. I hate people who are like htat.

Innovator 11-01-2004 07:47 PM

Dad was a Giant fan, first memory I have was watching a Giants/Cowboys game with him. Live in CT (40 minutes outside city).

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:48 PM

I don't know anybody except you that like both teams. Same with the Mets and Yankees. Eveyone I know likes one and hates the other. What are you trying to be a rebel here?

Triple A 11-01-2004 07:48 PM

God shut up. If you hate one of the NY teams you are a fa</>ggot.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:53 PM

Well you seem to hate the Bills you ******

Triple A 11-01-2004 07:53 PM

Seriously, that is the most illogical rule ever. I can understand really liking one team and not really caring about the other, but HATING the other? WOW. Makes me want to punch you in the face.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:53 PM

what the hell? Censored shit here.

No? I don't care about the Bills because they are from Buffalo. Like six hours away. I don't hate them at all. Unlike you, who hates the Giants. Even people outside of NY don't hate the Giants. So illogical. God.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:55 PM

Alright maybe I shouldn't of used HATE. I don't like the Giants, but I Hate the Cowboys

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:56 PM

There. I use Hate as a general "I don't like" term all the time dammit.

Triple A 11-01-2004 07:57 PM

You said "The Giants can go to hell" and now you are taking it back. It just shows that everyone who lives by that gay "rule" is a fucking phony piece of shit who is only doing it because it's what you're supposed to do, or is the cool thing to do. It is possible to like more than one team, especially in football.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 07:59 PM

You know what, they can go to hell just like the Mets, and just like the Rangers

Yankees, Jets, Islanders > Any other shitty NY teams.

Triple A 11-01-2004 08:00 PM

OK good for you.

Loose Cannon 11-01-2004 08:09 PM

LOL

See my previous posts as to why you are a retard.

Triple A 11-01-2004 08:15 PM

In baseball, I don't really care about the Mets. In hockey, I don't care about hockey. In basketball, I like the Knicks.

In football, I love the Jets, but love the Giants too. If you are from NY and you hate one of them, you really are a giant piece of shit.

DaveBrawl 11-01-2004 08:24 PM

Hail to the Redskins! :shifty:

Gonzo 11-01-2004 08:27 PM

I am a Giants fan no doubt, but I don't hate the Jets. Giants just seem to have more interest to me, perhaps because of my father. I root for the Jets though, of course when they don't play the Giants. I would love to see a NY/NY Superbowl. That would be the shit.

The Highlander 11-02-2004 04:54 AM

Jets vs Giants....New York vs New York...happened in baseball.

fucking yankees....

I'm still hoping for an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl. And Predicting it this year too.

Y2Ant 11-02-2004 12:35 PM

I like the Jets more than the Giants, mostly because Chad Pennington is one of my favorite QBs.

I also dislike the NFC East, but it is hard to hate Dallas since DrA is from there :'( and Terry Glenn is the man also.

FakeLaser 11-03-2004 12:27 AM

I am from New Jersey and have loved the Giants my entire life.

He seems like one of those guys who looked like he had potential in college but won't go far in the NFL. He has to be better than Quinn atleast.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-04-2004 10:17 PM

Krenzel is a career backup
