VIKINGSSSSSSSS

Why not?

Antoine Winfield has stated that the Vikings will win out. Any questions. :p

Y2Ant 11-30-2004 12:17 AM

Antoine Winfield is the man.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-30-2004 12:43 AM

methinks Antoine just ruined his team's chances of success this year

MoRcHeEbA 11-30-2004 01:40 AM

who do they play still?

BCWWF 11-30-2004 01:51 AM

I'm not sure the order, but I know we play the Packers again, which is the hardest game. Then I think we have Seattle which will be tough too (but they are both at home). Then I think Detroit and Chicago still too.

BabyHugger 11-30-2004 02:23 AM

Vikings are mad medicore, if they went to the superbowl I would only watch if the Colts were there to stop them.

Dec 5 @ Chicago 1:00pm
Dec 12 Seattle 1:00pm
Dec 19 @ Detroit 1:00pm
Dec 24 Green Bay 3:00pm
Jan 2 @ Washington 1:00pm

All five of those games should be wins, with Seattle not doing as well as they should be doing, and Chicago/Detroit/Washington are all pretty rubbish, the Green Bay one will be the big one, obviously.

Maybe Detroit or Chicago can upset the Packers and do us a favor. :o

BCWWF 11-30-2004 02:31 PM

The key is that the two big tougher games are both at home too, Green Bay and Detroit.

It's kind of hard to call the Vikings medeocre when they were within one score of beating the Colts despite not having Randy Moss. I'm not saying they are a Super Bowl team this year, but with Moss healthy you can make a good argument that they are the second best team in the NFC (behind the Eagles)

The Miz 11-30-2004 05:57 PM

Didn't you guys learn anything last year

BCWWF 11-30-2004 06:35 PM

That may be witty and unique, but really its not at all.

slextremely 11-30-2004 06:50 PM

Ya i would'nt be surprised if the Vikes lose at least 2 out of those five games, seeing how you guys stop playing good football in the second half of the season.

BCWWF 11-30-2004 07:13 PM

If we lose two of those games, I'm not sure if we'd even have the 6th seed. Do you realize who the teams are that are competing for the final wildcard spot right now? It will most likely be St. Louis, the same team that lost to the Dolphins. Come on, stop trying to make up reasons why the Vikings miss the playoffs, because there is not a chance that they do. That isn't being hometown, that is just not being stupid. That isn't directed at the Miz so much however, because I know you are just being the good old Miz.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-01-2004 03:07 AM

I say I enjoy rooting for the Bengals. You say the Vikings are the greatest team in the league every year. Slight difference.

BC has never produced a good pro-qb.

Nice choke against Syracuse this weekend.

It's pretty bad when you go to a bowl after a Tire company most people haven't heard of.

*does his anti-bc dance*

Have I ever mentioned I'm not a fan of Boston College? :D

There ok/good and going to get better. It's better for them to not do well this year and get a better pick.

The defense needs help and I'm not sold on the running game for the future.

They have some talented WR and a QB that is still green but could improve.

Yea I don't get why. BC is the only D1 football we got here and you don't even like them

The game would have been way different if Peterson played. Oh well, Ferri is nasty. Everett is still gross too, bout to win there 4th state championship in a row. They won like 3 while he was there

BCWWF 12-01-2004 07:20 PM

Since I said the Vikings are the third best team in the NFC, what I really mean is that the Vikings are far and away the best team in the league. Thanks for clearing that up Supreme.

lol remember when Brock Lesnar got into a fight in a pre-season game

BCWWF 12-03-2004 01:44 AM

I am just going to address this one more time, and then ignore it when it comes up in the future.

The Vikings were as good as their record last season, simply put. They just happened to win six, then lose a bunch right in a row. They were probably better then the Packers last year, but regardelss they weren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs. Of course it was disapointing being a Vikings fan, but I am over it now because our team is still rebuilding and now in the next season or two we will have a legit chance at a Super Bowl.

Then, if you want to post a picture of something that actually would have an affect on Vikings fans, post a picture of Gary Anderson missing his first field goal of the year in the NFC Championship, to win the game in 1998. That year the Vikings actually were good, 15-1, and the one FG Gary misses all year is the one to win the game. We eventually lose to an Atlanta team that had no right being in the Superbowl and got slaughtered by Denver. Post of a picture of that, and I will get going.

Y2Ant 12-03-2004 10:41 PM

That was when I first started watching, when Denver beat Atlanta :(

I remember Minnesota losing to someone in the wildcard, not sure who

BCWWF 12-04-2004 02:24 AM

They got blown out by a really good St. Louis team soon after, not sure if it w as 99 or 00. I forget who it was the next year. Then of course all the Giants fans remember 2001

VonErich Lives 12-05-2004 05:41 PM

did Jeff George play?

Gotta love how he got back in, called the Bears and said "I've been watching your games, I'm in great shape and could score 30pts a week w/ your current team"

BCWWF 12-05-2004 05:50 PM

I only saw the last two minutes of the game, but some random guy I've never heard of was playing and he had 3 TD's and 0 Int's, 115 QB rating for the day. Damn.

The Outlaw 12-05-2004 06:16 PM

The Pack got screwed out of a TD earlier...bogus INT

BCWWF 12-05-2004 06:23 PM

Lol, look at the Packers though

The Outlaw 12-05-2004 06:36 PM

Yes they are playing a 10-1 team, however.

BCWWF 12-05-2004 06:43 PM

The Vikings put up a much better effort on a Monday night aswell, which is a good sign. Thats all I'm saying.

Y2Ant 12-06-2004 12:28 AM

Yeah the Packers salvaged what could have been a horrible day for the Vikings

chicken10der 12-15-2004 01:52 AM

The Vikes make me sad. 7-6. At least we'll just make it in as a wild card. I hope.

BCWWF 12-15-2004 05:33 AM

I still see it highly unlikely that the Vikes miss the playoffs, just because of how bad the NFC is.

BTW, who are you? Are you from MN?

BCWWF 12-27-2004 03:34 PM

If the VIkings don't make the playoffs AGAIN, I will have any avatar you guys choose until the Super Bowl

The Pats are my favorite team

BCWWF 12-27-2004 07:17 PM

I don't know the purpose of that entirely, but much of it was taken out of context and when the Vikings are entirely healthy they are a better team then an entirely healthy Green Bay.

BCWWF 12-27-2004 07:18 PM

According to video games that is

VonErich Lives 12-27-2004 08:03 PM

Vikes picked up option on Tice for next year.

BCWWF 12-27-2004 08:04 PM

I dunno, I like Tice for some reason

Rain Man 12-27-2004 09:10 PM

LOL Tice seems like a pretty cool guy at his press conference he was cracking jokes about cheering for the Eagles. Oh shit Tice is an Eagles fan.. There goes the Vikings...

BCWWF 12-27-2004 11:50 PM

I think its a defensive cordinator that the Vikes need

The Outlaw 12-28-2004 02:48 AM

 Supreme

Moonax 12-28-2004 09:18 AM

Tice has no idea what he is doing.

Any team that loses the games the Vikings lose does not deserve to get into the playoffs.

BCWWF - the Vikings might be better in terms of talent than the Pack but the fact that Tice can not coach means that they won't ever win those games. Whenever the Vikings need a coach to pick up the team or give the team direction, or prepare the team; Tice goes AWOL.

I'm used to this though. I am used to the Vikings breaking my heart. Fucking Darren Nelson dropping the ball in the endzone. The Hershal Walker trade. (Note with the pick the Vikings would have had the Cowboys picked some guy called Emmitt Smith). Gary Anderson...:(

Y2Ant 12-28-2004 12:14 PM

B. Roethlisbergr

Moonax 01-07-2005 09:29 PM

Look at all the stupid drive killing penalties last week. Again, that is the sign of a sloppy team that is poorly coached.

The thing about the Vikings is that the start fast and then other teams work out what they are doing and Tice doesn't have the brains in order to work out what teams are doing to stop the Vikings and so they always go on this slide. Teams work out that the Vikes D is suspect and just pick it apart. It pains me to see a Vikes D this bad. I don't remember the Purple People Eaters but I do remember that front line of Doleman, Millard, Henry Thomas and Al Noga. Joey Browner, Carl Lee in the secondary. Seriously these guys must be spinning in their footballing graves at the shit that Tice turns out every week.

I am working out how they are going to fuck it up this week. I think that they will go one of two ways. Either the concede points on the Packers first 4 drives, plus a couple of 3 and out drives in between so they are in a hold straight off the bat.

OR

Randy Moss will go AWOL.

Or both.

BCWWF 01-08-2005 01:59 AM

Are you Minnesotan?

Moonax 01-08-2005 01:22 PM

Jerichoholic 01-08-2005 02:26 PM

Hershal Walker. Best. Trade. Ever.

The end results of the trade after 1992:
Vikings
WR Jake Reed

Cowboys
RB Emmitt Smith
DT Russell Maryland
CB Kevin Smith
S Darren Woodson
CB Clayton Holmes

Crimson 01-08-2005 03:25 PM

Wow ...if it weren't for that trade Dallas wouldn't of have won those superbowls , I mean without Clayton Holmes who knows where they would have gone.

After Moss catches a TD pass to put Vikes up 14-0 in the first quarter:

"So Cris, would you still not start Moss today?"

"Absolutely not, blah blah blah I am a douche"
