Calling all C-FED Guys: NCW and TNA
 

Okay, me and Jabba have been talking the past few days about uniting both brands and Jabba would write the shows. I didn't want to make this a surprise because I want all of you guys feelings on this first. Everyone would be on one show now and there would be more storylines and feuds to work with. I'm making a poll. Yes if for the merge and no if not.

Keep in mind the merge would come into effect after TNA's Clash of the Captions PPV.

Votes will be private and the poll will close in 4 days

So if I'm writing the RAW after Clash (if we DO decide to merge) then I got to think of something big

If this does happen then I hope there is a big Invasion type thing....sorta like WWE did with WCW/ECW...but better for the love of god.

Hah, I voted no but that's before LC pmed me back... but I still have some doubts about joining the two feds.

This could work, we could do it like the Invasion angle where the TNA guys form against the NCW guys with bitter feelings. Even though some TNA guys will still feud between each other (Innovator, Invisible) .

If this happens the league should neither be called TNA nor NCW it should have a new name, since HHHitler will own all of Caption Entertainment maybe it could be CCW? I suggested this earlier; Caption Championship Wrestling. If Nojabba agrees to this of course.

It would be cool to unify some titles, like with the WWF/WCW titles. X-Treme Title and Hardcore Title match, TNA tag titles and NCW tag titles... Even have a formation of the IC and VB which has been considered to be close to the same level. But keep the TNA and NCW title seperate from one another, at least for awhile.

I'm all for it, but use a name different than NCW or TNA to signify the merge.

And by the way, am I the only one who thinks that seeing Jabba The Hutt as the head of the federation would be 10 X funnier than Hitler? Seeing a giant slug run a federation as to be great. And it would be easier to come up with PPV names and such. :D

I have no problem with the rosters joining, I think it would give us enough guys to even try and have things like a proper tag and maybe an X division, maybe having guys exclusive to those divisions.

And if nothing else it will intensify competition, however I do think that a new name is needed to signify a new start.

I think I should of made this poll public, because I think there may be people voting who aren't even part of the C-FED's for some reason.

I don't know the less experienced caption c-fed individuals could get buried

A. It is done right

B. new name

Definitely gotta go with the merger. TNA is dying as we speak due to the departures of TRO, DE, Splaya, Shaggy, Slim, and Remy; and Dub and Azriel are MIA. Right now the Clash PPV has 3 matches, and we used to be able to do 8 matches on one PPV, so that tells you something right there.

If we merge there will be fresh new feuds, dream matches, a stronger tag and X-treme division, and more leverage for new guys to get over.

Some of you guys mentioned unifying some of the titles, and I'm all for that. Maybe the IC and VB titles could be merged to let's say...the Interforum title, and the Xtreme and Hardcore titles could be merged as well. I agree with Invisible on our keeping the TNA and NCW titles seperate for now, and have them unified in some huge match with a lot of hype.

Also Caption Championship Wrestling is the best name I've heard for the new promotion thus far. :y:

ok, so if we do merge, Jabba said I can write the Final RAW. It's gonna be good. I'm gonna give TNA some closure.

I guess that leaves Savior, K-Man, Nowhere Man out of the running. So I guess the only way these guys can write is if everyone votes NO on the merger.

Me and LC are collaborating on a Final RAW, more like a Tribute show, like The Final Nitro.

I think we should merge regardless. The voting system is FUCKED, Florida_style

I only voted once LC. I was bummed when I couldn't see who voted for who........Yeah I always get bad luck.

The benefits of the merger would have to be

1) It gives midcarders more to work with

2) It helps the IC division

3) Allows for a more competitive and stronger IC and Tag Division

i voted yes, but I also recognize that it's going to cause some major upheaval in the ranks. And I'm not so sure that Big Zylla will fit in TNA. Still, I'd go for it.

Seymour is SO going for the X-Title.

Yeah I think NCW will make the way of TNA when some one gets mad that they are not getting pushed, they make a company and rival NCW.

Ok Im for and against it. IM for it because yes it will start new feuds new matches etc etc etc....HOWEVER. NCW is a great rival feud for TNA. And Now that Joey Radd has made a triumph return to TNA I feel that TNA will start up bigger again. Matches and feuds have been planeted for the future (MVP RADD) Ive been building my character to take on the winner of the fatal 4 way in a ladder match. Look at the poll it seems kinda split. I think Keep TNA going until there really is no choice. If you need a new writer Ill gladly do it. I was one of the guys who were actually considered to write the show when Naitch quit.

Let TNA ride awhile see how the shows go I think itll get better.

I said no because i find it real hard roleplaying with non wrestling characters. I'm not saying theres nothing wrong with being "hitler, Zack Morris etc" but i liked TNA because it was easy feuding with someone who had wrestling pictures.

TNA's roster all were a certain wrestler, so if i wanted to punk out DE for example, i'd show a bad HBK pic etc.

I had enough trouble keeping track of the characterizations for all of the original NCWites. Now, there are a dozen new people that I have to wrap my head around. I don't think my sanity could take unified rosters!

Honestly, though, I'm not wild about the merger idea. I don't really care about how bad the TNA IC title scene is or isn't right now. NCW is working well with the roster the size it is now - and, honestly - the more people we're bringing in, the harder it is to come up with material that suits each opponent. I haven't got the faintest idea of how to start making jokes about Azriel or MVP. I know how to write for Zack Morris or Eric Shin or Adrian Moore or Big Zylla or J Dogg.

In thwe end, I could careless really, although I like the idea of having seperate brands. NCW has it's own style, and so does TNA. Each company has it's own feel. If we merge, this "novelty" is basically gone.

It's funny how most of you already voted YES, when we haven't even given the "NEW TNA OWNER" a chance at writing TNA yet.

But I guess the real reason we all want a merger is because one of those owners might go "Outsider" on us and vanish once the new ownership takes place.

Alright, I think I'm going to have to cancel the merger. Sorry guys. Naitch has a point that other guys haven't been given a chance yet to run TNA. So, I'm going to give them a chance. So I guess the Final TNA episode is out the window then. Naitch will still do Raw after the PPV. And then we'll go from there.

I'm going to have to go back and be a full time wrestler then also.

I say we have a straight up vote right now on who YOU want to see write TNA.

I know we still need to see what they're shows are like, but that will pan over a couple of weeks and it'll take too long. I say we all vote on someone right now.

Personally, I'd love to see Joey Radd run TNA (now that he said he's willing to do it)

It makes things more exciting if we vote now, see their show later, IMHO.
