Jericho's Idea *Raw Spoiler*
 

Ok, I didn't actually watch Raw, but I read the TV report on the Observer website, and apparently he came up with some idea about 5 guys and a ladder.

So, making the assumption that this match would be for the Intercontinental Title (its gotta be for something) who would be in this match? Basically, who is at a lose end, and is at that level.

I'm thinking, Jericho, Christian, Benoit and Benjamin have got to be in the match, but who else?

Or maybe it's another TLC.

Edge?

I dunno, Regal in a Ladder match?

I'm not sure really, just that they'll need atleast another heel.

I am hoping to god it isn't Snitsky.

I mean he was put in 3 IC title matches in 3 weeks. ANd that kinda just points to me that he might be in that ladder match or even worse be in that ladder match *gasp* and win it.:nono:

Gonna be the best match on the card if they get the participants right.

Im guess they could do something between the two brands from the result of the stand off during the rumble. I cant remember who was all involed but I remember : Y2J, Benoit, Booker T, Eddie, and Ray Jr. were some of them. So maybe a match with those people give or take some.

I doubt Snitsky will be in it, he's supposed to be against Kane again....I think.

Could be Benoit, Jericho, Edge, Christian, Shelton and maybe.... Hassan....or Maven

Only problem with that is the IC title will probably be on the line. The IC title is stricty property of Raw. SO unless a winner from SD was drafted to Raw the next day. That could never work.

It better be some kind of gimmick match if it's Kane vs. SNitsky.

It's not a ladder match. It's a battle for the new "Hardcore porn" title.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

It's going to be a match of all the former heavyweight champions that have been moved to the midcard to see once and for all who will never hold the title again. My money's on Kane, though Jericho is right up there.

I only thought up the people right now that dont really have a match 100% set for the ppv. I think that since Maven was brought back to Raw tv that he might take part in the match just to take up a slot. Christian Benjamin and Jericho are very obvious to be in it. Snitsky if he doesnt do his match with Kane....and then Edge is in it since they just havnt put him in something yet. There are still over 3 weeks left so anything can happen.

I'd replace Edge or Snitsky with Benoit. Edge deserves more than the IC title, and we don't want Snitsky wasting the whole match. :-\

Of course they do, but it's not like Vince will give them a chance to. As for Edge, his push has already started. We can only wait for Christian's to begin and Benoit and Jericho have had their chances, so I think they'll be held down now...

I was thinking 3 men from raw and 3 from smackdown and have the winner would be the #1 contender for their brand.

I hope Maven gets put in it but I doubt it. He just got whooped by Y2J and Y2J acted like Maven wasn't anythign special once he got on the mic. And I doubt Edge's character wants the IC belt.

I hope they dont include the SD guys, they've already ruined the prospects of Benoit-Jerihco, why wreck Eddie vs Rey with this CF.

I think it'll be Benoit, Jericho, Edge, Christian, Hassan and Benjamin for the IC title or possibly a #1 contenders spot, more likely the IC title though.

Jericho said they were competing for "the opportunity of a lifetime," that still doesn't strike me as an IC title match. Either way it's gonna be good.

Yeah, I can't see it being for the IC Title either. If it were, then it would've been Shelton Benjamin making the challenge. A 6-man ladder match for the #1 Contendership could be really, really good.

Edge wins, gets his shot against Batista at Backlash, and gets crushed.

Christian should win and get propelled into the mainevent. It'd be easy to justify since him and Edge are supposed to be two of the best in the match.

6 Man Ladder Match with a Contract to face the World Champion at Backlash hanging from the Ladder

My Picks for this match are Edge, Christian, Jericho, Benoit, Matt Hardy, and proberly Shelton...

Of course, I can still cross my fingers, that Hurricane actually appearing on Raw for a few moments, means he could get put in this match

The only way I'd watch that thing if Hassan was involved is if he was hanging from the roof in place of the belt.

Anyway, the match looks like it's going to be a spotfest. I swear if Chrstian (if he's in the match) gets injured again, I'm gonna be pissed.

Could be good, although personally I don't like the idea of Edge competing for the IC title. It kinda goes against his character. I'd much rather see a #1 Contenders Match, with Edge winning, and putting over Batista later down the road.

nah if anything Edge should be the one who takes the title from Batista, say in 4-5 months time...summerslam maybe

I love the idea of a #1 contender's match, because since Batista is going to win against Triple H, that means the main event for Backlash will be Batista vs. SOMEONE WHO ISN'T TRIPLE H!

Hell yes. I'm for any idea that keeps big nose out of the main event, even if only for a couple months.

I won't see RAW for another two days, but a Ladder Match for the #1 Contendership sounds good to me.

Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Edge vs. Christian vs. Rhyno (just put him on the PPV dammit!) vs. either Kane, Gene Snitsky or Matt Hardy.

I know people are against the idea of Snitsky in the match, but I think the guy would bump a bit in the match, and I really think the guy has the guts t do some far out stuff in this match. I'd rather just see it be Kane though, with Matt Hardy going over Snitsky in the undercard.

As for the win, I'd give it to Christian. He needs just one big win to get him over as the main guy. He's been skimming the surface of stardom recently, and I really think he could get over huge with a win here.

Leading into Backlash and you can have him play the lead heel of RAW extremely well. With this match you pretty much setup a great Backlash card as well:
