I always assumed he picked guys who he could closely resemble with his own abilities. Being superman wouldn't fit because Superman was all about strength instead of agility. I'm gonna go with Spiderman this year.

Captain America would be a great one for him. He's not too obscure and he fits Rey's style.

Rey had a Spider-Man sorta costume for most of his time in WCW. Y'know, the one where he wore the blue tights and the red mask with webbing on it (I can't seem to find a pic of it) Also, for his match against Eddie at Halloween Havoc, he wore a costume that looked like the Phantom.

As for this 'Mania, it would rule if he came out as Batman.

At World War III 96 against Ultimo he wore that spiderman-esque costume. Yeah the Phantom one was a full body costume in the title vs. mask match.

Just to add onto that, he once wore a Batman-esque costume in ECW, for the 2/3 Falls match with Psicosis (the one on the ECW DVD) Not really as good as the other superhero costumes, but it did have the Batman symbol on his tights and boots, so it kinda counts.

Hmm.. considering the Hollywood theme to the event, Rey will probably dress up as Spider-Man or someone from the X-Men - the two hottest super hero movies in recent years.

Of course, Batman would be a good choice too, considering Batman Begins isn't far from being released.

I'd go with Spider-Man, simply because a Batman outfit would look totally gay.

Oh, and he did use a Spider-Man in WWE. It was the SmackDown before WrestleMania XIX (can't remember who he was against) but he won and then taunted Matt Hardy at ringside with the V1 taunt. People may remember a caption reguarding a Mysterio heel turn when he used his webbing to tie up Matt Hardy?

I think at Wrestlemania XXV he will dress as The Joker.
