I just don't know how watching people get hurt is funny. Maybe I'm just out of touch with whats hip and funny these days

James Steele 03-13-2005 11:39 AM

No you're not, he is just an ignorant ass who needs to shut up.

*To my fans: I am not going to waste my trademark on these assholes*

James Steele 03-13-2005 11:40 AM

Unless its Jeff Hardy, I LOVE watching CrackMonkey get hurt. Why? I don't know why exactly... wait yes I do.... He sucks.

#1-norm-fan 03-13-2005 02:05 PM

Kurt Angle: Triple H was out 8 months with a torn quad??? I tore my quad this morning, look at me. *Runs in place*

The Fugitive 03-13-2005 02:49 PM

Two stick out in mind, The Rock imitating his HIAC opponents for Armaggedon 2000, and Edge and Christian describing a run-in.

DX invading WCW or the DX parody of the Nation

M. Banana 03-13-2005 03:31 PM

E&C decribe a run-in? Never seen it..

But I would say JBL's promo in Japan. That shit was funny..

Or maybe Vic Grimes getting thrown off the balcony through some tables.. although that's not WWE..

Innovator 03-13-2005 04:05 PM

When Foley got the Rock to crack up mid promo, then started running around the outside of the ring yelling "Foley Foley Foley"

Aussie Skier 03-13-2005 04:53 PM

DX invasding WCW was cool

I also loved The Rock and Kurt Angle's promo together during the invasion angle, when angle talks about milk :D

and Rock's promos with the caoch (dance the charleston, and singing barry manilow) LOL!

Gouda 03-13-2005 06:32 PM

Goldberg coming out of the closet. :shifty:

Gerard 03-13-2005 07:43 PM

Austin and angle singing to mcmahon and playing the guitar, comes to be angles turn, he starts singing and vince just walks out.

M. Banana 03-13-2005 08:11 PM

When Big Show made his return and won the Cruiserweight and Women's championship.

TerranRich 03-13-2005 08:57 PM

Okay, I'm not gonna jump the bandwagon and talk about something that never happened (Big Show, Goldberg). :p

But so many come to mind:

• Kurt Angle's "interview" with the Rock, a la Al TV (Weird Al did it first)
• I thought the fact that they showed Taka getting thrown on his head at the Royal Rumble was funny. NOT the actual fact that he got hurt, mind you, BUT the fact that they kept showing it over, and over, and over, and over again, as if it provided them with unending amusement. I just found that fact funny.
• D-Generation X's "Nation of Impersonation"
• Jason Sensation's imitations the week after at the commentator's desk
• I loved the Mick Foley/Rock bit where he finally got the Rock to crack a smile during a promo and ran around the ring, chanting his own name

I can't think of any more right now, but I'm sure there are plenty that come to mind.

Nervous Ferret 03-13-2005 09:28 PM

when the rock dropped his sunglasses and foley picked them up.

Hey, that Goldberg thing really happened. On one Raw he came out of the closet.

He came out of the closet before all of his entrances. The guy just knocks on the door, and he comes on out. :shifty:

No but they usually try to hide that fact. On one Raw they had a bad camera angle and you could see it was clearly a storage room with boxes, mops.... etc...

John la Rock 03-13-2005 10:31 PM

THIS IS YOUR LIFE!!!

BY FAR the funniest moment.

I really didn't think that was all that funny. I mean, it was all right, but I think it's highly overrated in the annals of comedic wrestling history....as if comedic wrestling history had annals.

Anybody Thrilla 03-13-2005 11:14 PM

Actually, I thought The Rock and The Hurricane was funnier than that. When he called him The Hamburglar.

Ruien 03-14-2005 12:11 AM

Mini Doinks by far

Gone Mad 03-14-2005 12:42 AM

- When Rico yelled at Jeff Hardy for stalling and not pulling off a move, on one Raw. And Jeff just stays there with a blank look.

Angelina2K 03-14-2005 01:58 AM

PullMyFinger 03-14-2005 02:24 AM

Holy shit, what was the booking staff thinking when they did that feud?!

Kapoutman 03-14-2005 05:08 AM

On Raw, Edge and Christian describing a run-in.

Christian: The reason why we're here is, you see, in about 3 or 4 minutes, if Road Dogg here in fact does have the upperhand, you know maybe he's gettin jiggy and maybe throwin some jabs or something like that, we're basically going to interfere and cost him the match.

Edge: You know what, in wrestling circles that's called a run-in, derived from the fact that as it looks like Road Dogg's about to win the match, we're gonna cause him to lose.

King: A run-in?

Edge: Yeah.

King: Hey JR, they're going to do a run-in!

JR: That's what I've heard, I'm somewhat shocked at their bluntness.

King: Sometimes JR can be sorta markish.

Edge: Well I know he's a mark for Edge and Christian, and damn well should be.'

There you go. I found the real quote for those who didn't see it.

The Snockmaster!!!

also, I found Booker T dropping the N-bomb on Hogan hilarious, his reaction was great!

CSL 03-14-2005 07:24 AM

Over the last year or two, I would honestly say it's the Triple H 'Braveheart' thing

Christian in Japan was good too (the skit that led to the Orton/Tomko match)

SuperSlim 03-14-2005 08:19 AM

Rock/hurricane promos

Gayda's debut tag team match WWE

Awww shit!

Stitsky/Hiedenreich confrontation at RR05....heavy breathing... priceless

also Xtian from the same show,
"Tomko, Gimme a beat!"

Blue Demon 03-14-2005 10:27 AM

-Snitsky/Heidenreich RR 05
- Christian/Cena RR 05

The Angle/Alliance milk truck incident.

Jericho doing the promo where he points out that Stephanie had a boob job.

Jericho's promo on Benoit where he did the jackass, etc.

The Rock's concerts.

The Hurricane/Rosey/Rock skits. I especially loved the one where Hurricane was making fun of The Rock's small parts.

The DX Nation parody.

The DX election speech.

The promo where Rock was making fun of all of WCW's guy's catchphrases.

"TO BE THE MAN... No no, that's not it... SNAP INTO A... No, no... Well you know brother, the 24 inch... No, that's not it..."

The DX Bret Hart midget incident. I don't know why, but I loved that.

The Austin/Booker T skits. The church and the supermarket. Those were classic.

Gillberg. :shifty:

CYCLOPTERSAURUS 03-14-2005 06:24 PM

Any of the Austin/Angle/Mcmahon skits. Those were so awesome.

Crashnburn 03-14-2005 07:43 PM

The Rock/Hurricane skits I think were the funniest thing the WWE ever did.

I also liked the Monday Night Football intro parody of T.O. and Nicolette Sheraton that Vince, Trish, and Shelton did.

Fox 03-15-2005 12:12 AM

The Rock Concert

"Leavin' Sacramento... Sacramento there I go...

They got some FAT ASS WOMEN and The Rock will surely just say no..."

Estranged 03-15-2005 08:24 PM

I know this wasn't in WWE, but i will NEVER forget the positively kanyon angle. When Kanyon would give people diamond...err...kanyon cutter's backstage and go up to the camera and yell "BANG!" I remember when it gave one to someone outside the arena, and the camera was far away, and kanyon ran all the way to the camera and yelled "BANG!" Hilarious

Oh, and the Kurt Angle torn quad promo was funny too

I remember that!!! I laughed my ass off when that happened!!! I had forgotten about till I read your post. Thanks for reminding me.

Anybody Thrilla 03-16-2005 12:24 PM

"Price check on a jackass!"

Chavo Classic 03-17-2005 01:55 PM

Lol. There was one match, i think it was at mania X7 when in a match with Eddie, Test managed to slip on the ring apron and then later spend about 4 1/2 minutes hanging upside-down when his foot gets caught in the ropes.

funny, but sad also.

redoneja 03-17-2005 06:25 PM

Survivor Series 2001. At the time Sean Stasiak was tryign to impress Austin. So he decides to sneak attack The Rock during a segment. While The Rock is talking to Regal, Stasiak comes running from off camera, Rock nonchalantly moves out of the way and Stasiak hits the wall.

Also Drew Carey and Kane at Royal Rumble 2001

aaronkyle86 03-17-2005 06:43 PM

I'd have to go with the Booker T and Goldust promos they did... Especially when they were acting like they were in the Scorpion King movie. And seeing Goldust in a freakin Darth Vader costume will always stick in my mind when I think of them.
