Just found this tidbit from ukff.com:

I caught the end of the Off the Record interview which aired on TSN here in Canada with Edge and Christian (it was taped in January, but aired just today) and in an interesting note, Edge candidly admitted that he has "juiced" in his career. In other words, he admitted to taking steroids for some undisclosed amount of time. My thoughts were, if of all people Edge did it, then that makes almost anyone likely of doing it, because Edge was one of the last people I thought would take steroids. Any thoughts on the topic of steroids in wrestling? Especially since the U.S. government is cracking down on Baseball now and what not.

By the way, on the very same talk show last year some time Ric Flair candidly supported the use of steroids as an entitled individual choice

I can't say I'm a big Edge fan, but steroid use is probably the least of his worries right now when it comes to his reputation.

And on the subject of steroids, I don't like it, but since wrestling isn't technically a competitive sport, I don't think it should be lumped in with the baseball scandals.

So Edge is considered a hateful figure now? Just because he reportedly screwed around with Lita and states he took steriods.

Edge is hated for his poor taste of chicks to cheat with. I mean, come on. LITA? What, were Linda McMahon and Chyna unavailable?

Anyway, I don't hate Edge, and who gives a shit about steroid use in wrestling?

Now, if not for his incredible blandness in terms of both wrestling and personality, I might care.

A lot of wrestlers take steroids when coming back from a serious injury. It speeds up the time it takes them to get back into shape.

KK thats the problem with Edge. He doesn't know that if you're gonna screw around in the business, you have to go for the gold. Don't settle for the silver...well in this case hes settling for not even placing.

Further, with steroids, they've become part of most pro sports, and many of them don't have the touring chedules pro wrestling does. Roid abuse bothers me, people like Snitsky or Steiner, but to make a big deal over Edge having been on it for a time? GASP! I bet he's bladed once or twice too!

And yeah, Edge is aiming low. :D

The steroid use within the business is out of control.

It's just too bad that there is no governing body over wrestling that will investigate, ala the whole baseball deal. A lot of guys claim they used them for a time, when in the real world, they are still using them - often on and off - to avoid being caught using.

Erm no, not just for that. Because he betrayed Matt Hardy's trust in him and their friendship. And the fact that Edge did this while Matt was away from RAW, recuperating. I'd say that's reason enough to at least...be mildly disgusted with Mr. Copeland. ;)

I never hated Adam Cooperland or however his name is spelled. Edge is rather boring and un-attachable as a character. I don't really care if he fucked Lita, I mean who here hasn't? I know it is kind of a dick thing to do, fuck your friends girl, but it wasn't my girl and I don't really give a shit. As far as streriods, that is old news, you could tell he was juiced up when he made his first return to Smackdown last year.

People love Benoit and Guerrero and Angle and those three are totally juiced up. Infact, I'd go as far as saying the only guy I would 100% believe isn't on steroids right now is Shawn Michaels.

Personally, I think Matt Hardy needs his head checked. Lita cheats on him (not for the first time either) and he is pissed at the guy? Your woman is who is meant to love you and be loyal and apparently Amy Dumas is less at fault than Adam Copeland. Even Jeff Hardy ain't this stupid. When you let other people "join in" on your relationship like Matt and Amy have done (they had more posts as a couple on Ring Rats than any two people combined), you have to expect thiings like this happen.

I hate Edge. Pure and simple. Just to get this out of the way, and no, I hated him before this story and of course, the Lita/Matt deal. That situation sucked but I don't blame anyone, but everyone is at fault. I just think he is majorly over-rated, and could not sell me a PPV as a main eventer, ever and him and Double J are the only two people I can't stand in wrestling.

About this, I am shocked as well to hear he did roids in his life. Edge doesn't look as big as most of the guys but this story does not help him win any popularity contest, especially at the moment. I can't say I like or hate this, but it sure as hell hasn't helped him. I still don't see any talent besides his nonstop ridiculous grin.

I don't hate Edge and I think his recent push was going quite well. Hopefully this won't fuck up his big push or whatever, but it appears that it has :(

As for the steroids thing, I agree with what someone said earlier: it is sports entertainment and as long as it is the wrestler's choice rather than Vince forcing them on the juice then so be it.

On a side note, I think professional athletes should be forced to take steroids. Anything that increases my enjoyment of the game. I want my athletes to look like my video games, dammit!

I think people bitching about steroids have forgotten how boring baseball was when people actually had to wait for people with talent to get to the plate.

I personally thought Edge had the potential to become a great performer, but he just doesn't impress me now. And you all and Edge knew that Vince wouldn't give him a main-event push with the lanky frame he had. He looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Christian was always better than Edge, always had more personality. He probably juiced too. If Edge main-evented a PPV, I'd be a damn fool to buy it. Edge will get X-Pac heat soon enough. Maybe he's trying to draw heat on purpose.

If Michaels is on gas, he needs to change suppliers.

Edge is the second guy in a tag team. That's where his potential comes from. He lacks the charisma to pull off the silent role, he lacks the mic skills to be a talker. He lacks the ring skills to impress us, and he's got...Well, he's got a build now, and he can jump around like a moron. Sadly, that's WHT material.
