--After his performance on Tuesday against Kurt Angle, WWE has signed Marty Jannetty to a contract. It is not 100%, but he is expected to be on the Raw side and interact in some form with Shawn Michaels.

OK, so team Marty with Shawn and have them demonstrate some tag matches.

Give 'em a good run, and then have Marty seek revenge on Shawn for the whole BS incident in the early 90's, as nothing ever really came of that whole deal. After that, Marty lands on HEAT, putting over various low/mid-card heels. At least he gets himself an additional Superstars action figure :)

I would send Jannetty to SD! Then in the draft, throw Shawn in SD! too. Throwing Jannetty on Raw is just more proof that Raw is the flagship show and WWE is proud of it.

Cause they put on 4-5 star match after match after match and never once won the tag titles. They were just in the best tag era of all-time unfortunately. Then you get to the mid 90's and have teams like the Body Donnas and Godwins winning Titles. WTF IS THAT?

After reading that...am I the only one that thinks Jenetty will play some part in the Angle Vs HBK match at Mania. He will probably show up on Raw this week and everything will be fine and it will be like HBK and him are friends again but for some reason im expecting him to cheat HBK out at Mania.....which I hope doesnt happen because that could take one of the best matches we have ever seen and turn it into a horrible thing because of an ending.

Lordy...this is great news for the tag team division.

Seriouslly, reunite the Rockers and use them to revitalize your tag team division. It'll work out so well. Really. We all saw how Jannetty can move on RAW and Smackdown. So why can't you book your tag team division around these two guys? It's not like it'll be a step back for either Jannetty or HBK.

Because he's alot better than 1/2 the crap that they sign nowadays, and he has a ton of experience and ability - and as funny as it may sound at this stage of his career, a good deal of untapped potential.

Can't blame that on Jannetty though, you have to blame that on WWE. He still should get a shot to get some extra TV exposure - and use it to get himself more indy dates when they do let him go. $400 to whatever per shot, a few times a month, helps pay the bills.

Hennig came back and gave some awesome performances, and IMO, outdid the rest of the Rumble when they brought him back. Bossman also put in some great matches for them as well, but both guys weren't utilized correctly enough to be taken seriously. It would have been great (since they were tagging anyway) to put over Curt Hennig and Bossman as a major team. With their histories, abilities and such, it'd have made a lot of sense - which explains why they didn't book it.

I'm sorry, I fell asleep when somebody mentioned the Bossman.

Well, this is great to hear. Push him, damn it. I, for one, will still care no matter what. Only time will tell if this goes fully well or not. I still prefer he goes to SD! instead, as they need him more there than Raw,and HBK should go with him.

Good for Jannetty. He's a great talent, and if they can use him to boost some scene on either RAW or SmackDown!, I'm all for it. I still think it would be awesome if he were a mystery opponent for Orlando Jordan at Wrestle Mania for the WWE United States Championship. Then after tha, you have OJ steal back the title, and have HBK head over to SmackDown! and start teaming with Jannetty.

Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio vs. The Rockers at Judgment Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship. I'd buy that card in a second just for that match.

This is a good signing, IMO, because it can get the WWE fans interested in a title scene that they couldn't care less about today.

Obviously this is great. We need a bit of nostalgia in what really (for the most part) is a tepid product these days. We might get to see some decent tag action on Raw, could you imagine the Rockers as part of a TLC match?

Good for Marty. I was thinking after last weeks RAW that Marty would get revenge on Shawn, maybe throw him through the Highlight Reel Set and breaking the Jeritron 5000 or something, leading to the MUCH anticipated Jannetty/Michaels feud (12 years in the making).

Or, just keep them tagging, after all we're not supposed to remember the pre-attitude era.

Didnt Jannety beat Michaels on raw for the IC title, then lose it to him at a house show the next week? I remember Michaels coming on the following raw and being introduced as the new IC champ at the beg. of the show and I remember being confused and a little saddened that Jannetty already lost the title.

It would be cool if they tagged again, but I dont see it happening.
