JEFF JARRET TO WWE!!!!
Not really.
Back in the WWE/WCW/ECW days, what was the most shocking 'jump ship' moment in your eyes? I know when I saw the Big Show debut at Valentines St. Massacre I fuckin flipped. Favorites? Mark out moments? |
When Rick Rude was on both Raw and Nitro.
|
I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that. *gasps for breath*.
Probably when stone cold went to the alliance..what do you mean you saw it coming????!!!! |
You mother fucker.
NEG REP.. POST THE COMMENT FOR ALL TO SEE |

roughly 10:30 pm The Rock is in the ring ..... and the countdown ended |
That was probably my favorite of all time, looking back on it. Jericho was such the fucking man that night.
|
WELCOME TO

Jericho's debut in WWE had such promise. I mean, imagine that character on the screen today. I would literally mark out like how I do to Christian everytime he were to come on...and him having the WHC again...damn. The thought of it makes me sad.
|
While I'm waiting for it, Tazz's debut was pretty sweet also. Maybe not as badass as Jericho's, but I was there for it and it was amazing.
|
I never saw his debut.... *downloads*

enjoy the debut of the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah |
Chris Jericho's was awesome, though not shocking at all since I knew who it was...
Taz's build up was fun too... But the purest, I think I just shit my pants was to see Scott Hall on Nitro. I didn't see that coming at all, and since I didn't read dirt sheets back then...oh lord did I think I shat a brick. |
here is Tazz's

I'd say either Rick Rude on Nitro (video clip anyone?) or Sean Waltman coming back to the WWF after Mania 14.
|
Rude went to Nitro after the Montreal incident correct?
|
Y2J
|
Hands down the Jericho debut. I never EEEH---EEEH---EVER thought I'd see him in WWF. Then it happened. Between me being a jerichoholic and the clock ticking down forever and wondering who/waht is was I think that made it so memorable. I literally jumped out of my seat when I saw JERICHO flash on the screen.

Paul E. annoucing for Raw was pretty good.

No offence to Y2J, but what the hell is wrong with you guys? We all knew it was coming, so how could it be a shock?
Neidhart re-appearing or L.O.D. re-appearing, no build up, no mention, etc that's a shock. |
I couldn't grasp that either.
|
Actually (in my case anyway), I had no clue it was him. Mainly because I didn't get a computer til 2002, but thats besides the point.
|
My first reaction to the headline was "I hope he feuds with HHH..."
But Jericho's jump to RAW has got to rank among the all time greatest. |
OH MY GOD...how could I forget...
The Hug From Hell! Eric Bischoff on RAW! I was reading reports that Eric was backstage even and I still didn't believe it. I swore it was just some dumb internet rumor...my god did I piss myself. |
Yea, Y2J I knew as well as Big Show, so that didn't shock me
I would say Hall at Nitro iin 96 and X-pac after Mania. Also Pillman at Cyberslam 96. Forgot about that. |

LOL. Memory Loss
|
Actually, when I heard Brian Pillman had signed with the WWF on Raw, I was hella shocked.
|
Jericho's debut was awesome but I knew about that already.
I didn't have a clue that Big Show had jumped over to WWE so I was very suprised when I saw this massive prick out of nowhere in the cage. |
definately Jericho
best dubt ever |
Chris F'N Jericho or X-Pac the night after WM 14
|
Yeah, I can't believe I forgot about Eric Bishoff. That was shocking, but that wasn't a jump out of my seat as much as it was "HOLY SHIT".
|
I didn't care about Big Show's debut because I believe even on WWF.com-back then...it said Paul Wight signs with WWF...I believe.
It's kinda funny how he went from being known as The Big Show "Paul Wight" to just the Big Show. |

I marked out pretty hardcore when Taz showed up in ECW and won the title while he was signed to WWE.
|
Jericho's debut on RAW holds kind of a special place for me (not because it was shocking, but rather because it was my birthday)
The best one is Flair in 1991. Even though they built it up like craaaazy |
Jericho and Bischoff.
|
Is it just me or did Kanes debut at The Undertaker and HBK's Hell In A Cell match seem not that good? :-\
|
Bischoff, X Pac, and ECW invading RAW the second time (after they went under) were huge shockers to me.
|
Mike Awesome going to WCW was a decent shock too.
|
Xpac after WM14, if only because I didnt know about it.
I knew about Jerichos, but his was the best done in my opinion. I loved when Jericho flashed on the screen. Also, I believe Big Show was originally known as the Big Nasty Paul White when he debuted. They changed it to show shortly after. I never did like the name big show or his stupid theme music. sorry, went off on a tangent there |
First Nitro. Luger.
Not that he somehow came to not suck, but that didn't stop the  moment. |
Bischoff's debut on Raw
Paul Heyman debuting after Lawler quit the company. RVD and Dreamer running in. And even though I knew it was coming seeing Shane McMahon on Nitro was just amazing. |
Jeff Jarrett to WCW (The 2nd Time): While I remember reading reports the few times I had internet access at the time that mentioned he was going to WCW, I never thought that it would be the night after dropping the IC Title to Chyna at No Mercy. It was shocking to see a tight shot of Bagwell getting brained with a guitar, then a wide shot revealing Jarrett in a WCW Nitro ring.
DDP to the WWF: His run may have been later ruined by Mark and Sara Calloway, and Vince McMahon, but his debut revealing himself to be the stalker was great. Once again, there were internet rumors, but I never thought that it might be him until I saw the last shot of him walking backstage. It looked similar to how Page walked. |
