Nice. I actually had hopes to see Juggernaut on screen, especially with the ties he has to Xavier. I just hope they don't botch him up like they did with Sabretooth. So much unused potential in that character. :(

Even so they still sort of resembled the original character and kept the same powers. You cant have a guy named juggernaut and not be a big guy. It would be the same if Luke wilson played colossus.

Seriously I want them to introduce the Hellfire Club, if they are going to continue with the Phoenix angle.
As I've said before they seem to be following more of the storyline from the Ultimate X-Men series, in which Jean Grey evolves into Phoenix.

Yay for the character, boo for the actor. Plus I can think of villains I'd much rather see, but hey, it wouldn't exactly be easy to do characters like Apocalypse...

In this age of computer animation, they can do anything.

It makes sense, though. If they have a Scottish actor playing Charles, they should have someone else from the UK playing Cain.

Let us dissect this movie. It's yet to be shown, however that should not be a hurdle.

It matters to me, I can't really see how someone can think someone so blatantly English is from Scotland. :p

And hey, like nationality and accent even matters in X-Men, just look at Brian Cox's rather hit and miss effort at a Southern US accent in X2.

Yes! OMG! Yes! Juggernaut was the first X-Men villain I ever knew of, and I instantly fell in love with the character. I jus hope they don't fuck him up. Make him a real badass that can kick anyone's ass.

Now all I really want is Apocalypse, the other ultimate badass of all time.

Personally I think they should have this be Juggernaut's movie, then make the next one about Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse. The Phoenix saga is all well and good, but I think they could just have Jean Grey return as a "super-charged" version of herself.

I was never a big fan of the Juggernaut character, so I hope that this isn't a film about him and Charles.

I don't know if Gambit will be in this but he should, and Beast is comfirmed to be in X3 and he's being played by Kelsey Grammer(Dr. Frasier Crane(Frasier) and Sideshow Bob(Simpsons)

And El Santo, Beast will probably not be CGI, if the other mutants are anything to go off (Mystique, Toad, Nightcrawler). I know Kelsey isn't built like Beast, but I'm sure they could solve that. They made a stumpy bald guy into the Thing, after all. :love:

I guess it kinda make sense because Hank was sucj an intellectual but I can't really imagine Kelsey Grammar as a big blue hairy beast.

As cool as Gambit is, in the movie universe his character is utterly redundant. They already have a brooding loner with a bad case of unrequited love. They already have characters with visually-pleasing explosive powers.

It's a little disappointing, because I like the character in the comics/TV show, but in the movies, he'd basically be a retread with a Cajun accent.
