I don't get the appeal of MNM. *Spoilers inside pertaining to tonight*
 

I don't know what it is about them that makes people jerk off over them, but I think tonight was the first time in ages I wanted to see Bobcore pick up a win. At least Haas doesn't suck, so Bob and Charlie wouldn't be as intolerable as these guys.

I have to agree with you. There a much worse version of the Backstreet Boys, minus the talent, and the ability to draw good heel heat. The only reason they are over is because of Melina's entrance. The two guys aren't horrific, but they shouldn't have been pushed this much this soon.

I don't think anyone is creaming their pants over them. They are thrown together, nobody cares about them, they have nothing interesting to do, so naturally it was decided that they should be WWE Tag Champs.

I agree with KK when their was loads of posters jerking off over them but they've probably 'changed their minds' now.

I really like them and I love the entrance.

Creaming my pants over them might be an overstatment, but I do like them and think they are decent Tag team that will get better over time.

I will go on recrod and say currently there isn't a Tag Team in TNA, RoH, or WWE that I am even mildly interested in. The tag division through out the entire North American Wrestling World is currently S-H-I-T (and I am not talking about Rosey).

At the point I'm cheering for Bob Holly to win the titles, you know it's slim pickings.

I like Chase Stevens, though Andy Douglas is lower-mid card at best...so I guess The Naturals are my choice currently...isn't that great. A decent Mid-carder and a so-so Lower-Mid-Carder are my current favorite team.

Thought they were good from day one, still do.

They are not the Harts or the Road Warriors or anything, but they are a solid tag team, and in a day where there are few if any good teams, they stand out even more.

What CyNick said, basically. They will only get better and they are one of the few tag teams with an actual gimmick who haven't just been thrown together randomly. Melina is pretty nice to look at also ;)

I dunno KK. I guess they're ok. They are no Hardy Boyz, no Dudlys and no E and C but come on.....there shall never be another trio of teams of those cailiber.

As for the entrance....meh. We got a nice panty shot tonight but other than that, she's nothing special. You could find someone like her on any street corner in Las Vegas.

This is one time I have to disagree with you, KK. I'm enjoying MNM right at the moment. It's a team that isn't just thrown together like I've been seeing recently with WWE tag teams. I do agree that I've been able to get into their matches with Hardcore and Haas, but not for the same reasons.

Neg rep me if you wish, but my opinion is that they got something good going with MNM right now for the tag division, something that says alot right now.

I think MNM is the suck, well, then again, I hate tag team wrestling.

Well, I like them alot. I think they've got alot of potential and they've got a very catchy look to them. I think Nitro, Mercury, and Melina are an awesome combo.

MNM = :y: because they are an actual tag team. If there were more actual teams (or just any teams) around then we could see how they rank.

I like MNM for a few reasons, the way they dress, the way they work together in promos, the way they talk and how they work great as a tag team.

If some of you guys don't like them, fair enough, but don't try to change my opinion of them.

Call me a dick, but Im still waiting for one of the 'paparazzi' people to trip over a cord or something while walking backwards and taking pictures of Melina's so-so rack and those other two guys.

MNM is a good team considering that there is really no other good teams in WWE.Hass deserves better than being stuck with Holly.

What's not to like?

They have charisma.
They can work.
They actually have a tag team gimmick.

Personally, I love these guys.

Oh, and The One? MNM have been teaming together for months in OVW, so there's nothing "thrown together" about them. They have complimentary promo styles and workrates, so it's a very logical pairing.

I, like most of the people in this thread, don't get the appeal of Melina, but at least she's a valet and not Candice Michelle, Lauren Jones, Rochelle Loewen, or another pointless set of T&A. She actually has something to do with wrestling, in that she's associated with wrestlers and tries to help her wrestlers win matches.

So we spend so much time complaining that there are no real tag teams with tag team gimmicks anymore, then when a new one comes along with talent, we look for reasons to hate them.

I mean, back in the day, two wrestlers would make it as single wrestlers, or they would be in another team, and then they would be bounded by a common thread. Bringing them in together with the same gimmick doesn't mean they wern't thrown together. In OVW they were thrown together and then brought up to WWE, it still doesn't mean they are a legit team. And on a side note, they are a photo copy of each other. Looking, acting, and being the same person doesn't make a good team, have charisma together and feeding off each other's strengths do.

Look for reasons to hate them? They bore me. I don't need to look for a reason for anything, I zone out during their matches.

Having a gimmick doesn't make them a good tag team, and if I'm giving props to BOBCORE in a match, this is clearly not some petty "Find any reason to hate them" deal.

I've seen MNM once, that was live at a Raw dark match in November.

I liked what I saw then, from what I've heard they haven't changed anything about their gimmick since then (Haven't been able to watch Smackdown in a while thanks to work).

MNM aren't horrible, and I think they have potential. But I do agree with some that they are getting pushed to hard too soon. They debut on the Cabana, then they next week they beat Eddie and Rey for the tag titles in their first match on SmackDown.

I'm not gay or nothing, but Johnny Nitro is hot. Mecury is butt ass ugly, but Nitro is hot. Not that that really matters, but maybe it is to bring in more girls to watch wrestling.

I'm with BDC. If anyone should have gotten the "Masterpiece" gimmick it's John Hennigan. His physique is inhuman. Nobody should be that well-defined.

I couldn't believe it myself either when they debuted against Eddie and Rey. Too soon a push, and now they'll burn out. It's a shame too.

Don't take it too extreme, I was saying if somebody wants more people to hate a team then I'm not going to hate those guys. You don't see me preaching things do you.

Joey Mercury doesn't seem like a right fit in this tag team. He is not a bad wrestler and plays his role well but he'd be so much better suited in a different role, IMO.

Johnny Nitro has got a lot of fucking untapped charisma. I Have yet to see any of his in-ring work though.

Melina can do the splits to get in the ring. Other than that I can't really remember what she looks like.

I certainly don't mind MNM. From what I have heard Nitro can do some amazing stuff in the ring and I believe that Mercury is a decent worker as well. As for Melina, she's nothing special but nothing too bad and at least she contributes something meaningful to the show with her mic skills.

And Yeah the backseats boys are the goods and thus far better than MNM. Personally i've got nothing against them, they have got a decent look, thuis far a limited moveset with exception to the snapshot, but I know both of them can and probably will do more in the future.

Give them some time, when it's time for a face turn and they unleash there full potential I think they will be a very decent team

I like the current push given to MNM for one reason:

I think that they'll continue to be pushed until the Smackdown return of the Dudley Boys, which should be pretty damn soon. I say move the World Tag Team Champions over to Smackdown, as well as the teams, and make the tag champions brand specific. Then I would have RAW fill the gap by introducing something other than a garden variety singles title. I always liked the TV title idea(defended on every TV show, with a ten minute time limit) and I think it would be a good way to get over younger talent.
