So, Yahoo! leagues are already open for sign up :eek:

Anyone interested in joining a league (run by me) or making a league (since we end up with like 4 leagues every year :p)?

They havent started those up just yet, it seems.

Anyways yeah, just provide the league info when you get it. Make sure the scoring is good this year though.

I'd join a TPWW one if the scoring is absurd like the last few years.

Yeah, I more or less stopped participating last year because of the fucked scoring. As long as that is good this year I'm definitely going to be an active participant.

I think I have a good system going on right now, but I'm still going to mess around with it and see what I can do.

Team defenses are better. I'd do individual defense but it really does change the league quite a bit.

Keeping it simple would be best IMO.

Oh and Stima made the point of individual defense in a big league. I was originally for team defense but I think Stima is right, it would be better. Probably something like one DL, one LB and two DB's, or however they set it up. ONLY if the scoring is good though and pour l'example like RDD said, Ray Lewis wouldn't wind up getting more points than your RB.

Yeah true, would be nice to have a preseason game or two in there before we draft.

Yeah, I had the draft set for that date just so everybody could have two months for trades, or to pick up someone decent from the FA list if a player gets injured in training camp or whatever.

I could move the draft back a week or two, however, I don't want to have it too close to the start of the season.

Why not? Nobody is going to make trades for those 2 months. Plus if a player gets injuired in Training camp I'd rather not have picked instead of picking up a shitty free agent to take his place.
