|
Don't know if it's real or not however
|
jericho to tna????

We all know TNA is secretly owned by TNA. I'm not surprised.
Its probably fake. That site looks horrible. |
Fuck, you beat me.

this is straight from wrestlezone.com
While there remains the possibility of Chris Jericho debuting with TNA, WWE officials have absolutely no fear that he will do so, reports PWTorch.com And, even if he did, WWE does not believe his presence alone could help make TNA a serious competitor. Upon embarking on his hiatus, Jericho made it clear to Vince McMahon that he had no intentions of signing with TNA. Thus, if Jericho were to go back on his word, he would burn a serious bridge with WWE and risk having the door closed on a possible return (at least in terms of being a main-event performer). Because Jericho cannot be sure TNA will be a stable, long-term alternative job source, the negatives seem to outweigh the positives for the gamble that is TNA. With that in mind, it's not as if Jericho has given TNA a great deal of consideration. While the possibility is always open, the wrestler has not expressed anything that could be perceived as a desire to join the company. But, what if he does? In that case, WWE officials are still not worried, as they do not believe a promotion can be built around Chris Jericho. WWE is very high on Jericho, but the feeling is that he's not nearly big enough a star to single-handedly take a promotion to war with WWE. Obviously, WWE would be upset to lose one of its top performers, but just as Chris Jericho won't be the shot in the arm TNA needs to seriously compete, his absence from WWE would hardly drive it into the ground i hope the fuck he has signed with tna cause we all know a company can be built around jericho |
so he never did sign that new deal with WWE? i really don't know what to think of this.
although... Rhino v Raven at the next PPV, Jericho runs-in, costs Raven the title, Y2J-Raven fued  |
I watch TNA every once in a while, but if Jericho were there, I'd be watching probably every week
|
^^^that report makes me think its a worked angle shoot thing, its abit too blatent
and the gif isnt professional enough to be real, and there is nothing on the TNA website atm, i mean....Y2J is a MAJOR coup....hottest free agent anyone? |
Well, he isn't mentioned on TNA anywhere...but he isn't mentioned on WWE rosters either....
|
he was fired remember?

I was just on there. That's Chris's official site, so if its a hack or a swerve, its a good one.

Maybe it's shit. I was on Jericho's site no less than 4 hours ago and this graphic wasn't on it.
And if was real, Da Meltz would be reporting it by now. |
Woah, holy shit.
|
Quote:
|
definately a hack though. Just can't see Jericho or anyone for that matter putting a thing like that up before the deal was even announced. Doesn't make sense.
|
The gif looks real shitty, probably just a swerve. No mention on it on the TNA website, remember last time they spoke out and basically killed the Hardy invasion angle?

I don't think this is even WWE's doing. Just some random guy(s)

Edit: Chris Jericho wants to set the record straight. With various outside sources reporting that Jericho has yet to sign a contract extension with WWE, the former undisputed champion made sure to contact WWE.com and denounce those reports. “I signed an extension on Monday in Cleveland at Gund Arena,” Jericho said. “I’ve been working with WWE for six years and I’m not going anywhere.” Source: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/y2jcontract |
^^ thank you sir.

So no, it doesn't. |
HAHA

Come to think of it, the WWE probably WOULD report it only to falsify it.
|
WELCOME TO IMPACT IS JERICHO......
doesn't have the same ring to it :( |

Seems like Vince (doesn't Shane run the media arm?) now runs WWE.com like his own personal dirtsheet. |

The people on that board are morons though.
To insist it can't be real because of the image of Jericho? Because it's so hard to take a pic of Y2J and slap it up there. |
For these guys...yes, yes it is that hard.
|
Ok WWE, we get it now. We understand that you have the power of the internet too, so stop manipulating us and distorting my perception of reality! You dam sumabitch!
|
Is that you, Brock?

Correction, this is the discussion forum :p
http://www.tpww.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4 I don't see what really needs to be discussed anyways. Jericho re-signed a little while ago, therefore how in the fuck can he go to TNA? Also RoadWarriorLOD, you said the release said "it does'nt say he signed it says his career in wrestling is not finished but he will not be back with the wwe" I read the thing and it said exactly the opposite |

So a discussion forum with a discussion forum, eh?

I don't even care about the argument anymore. I need sleep. My side had no point, I just argued for the sake of arguing.
Either way, no Jericho won't be going to TNA. This is just a way for him to play off his "Fired" angle |
Everybody needs to get off my dick, thats for sure.

heres the damn press release for everyone who does'nt believe me
from pwinsider: In a press release that is on Chris Jericho's official website dated 8/22 but not actively linked from the main page of the website, Jericho announces that he has left World Wrestling Entertainment for other endeavors. In the statement, Jericho writes, "I eventually had my first match on Oct 2, 1990 in Ponoka, Alberta….and on August 22, 2005 in Hampton, Virginia, I had my last match. For now. Yes it’s true. After months of speculation and rumors and numerous decoys and red herrings being thrown about, the official news from the boss man (me) is that I am leaving the WWE." Jericho noted that after wrestling for 15 years, he was mentally burnt out and that he is a "goal oriented person who thrives on a challenge and I’m not challenged by wrestling at this point in time," noting that he has accomplished everything he ever wanted to do in the business. Jericho noted that at this point, he is going to focus on his rock band Fozzy and his satellite radio show while also going out on auditions for acting parts, noting that he's filmed a role for a Sci-Fi Channel film that will air next year. Jericho will also continue to make appearances on VH-1's Best Week Ever. In regard to his future in the wrestling business, Jericho wrote, "Whether I do achieve success outside of wrestling or I don’t, I can say one thing for sure…I’m not retiring from the wrestling business. Too many people over too many years have said that and have constantly returned. I’m leaving the WWE for good, I’m not leaving wrestling for good. When I’m ready to come back I will. It may be one month, it may be one year, but when the time is right, I’ll know and I will return and be better than ever...I wouldn’t think of returning any other way. |
Eh, maybe I read it wrong
|
now that i posted the press release why does'nt anybody have anything to say
|
Quote:
Since, you know, the WWE (And JEricho) went on record that they had signed an extension, there is no benefit from them lying, and he's said very little definitive. Yes, he is gone from the WWE. We knew that. That doesn't mean shit. |
Because thats not what I remember it saying. Unless it was 2 seperate things on that page. I specifically remember it saying Chris wouldn't be leaving the WWE
|

I've been having longterm computer problems. Part of the solution suggested was an update that forced me to restart. I restarted and logged back in and immediately came here. I don't know how fast you expect a response, but it strikes me as unrealistic. |
i was questioning why nobody had responded
that press release is exaclty what was originally posted i even found it on a couple other boards in the exact wording i posted it in i know it does'nt say he's going to tna and i never said it did what it says is he left wwe for good apparently |
ah my poor eyes
|
Quote:
It says he will not come back. FALSE. It says he is burned out after 15 years. TRUE. It says he will never wrestle for the WWE again. FALSE. |
In other words, you're blowing it out of proportion.
