Yeah so I thought I'd create a java chatroom for TPWW so when we wrestling posters get bored we can drop in and chat without being bombarded by marks and morons. Maybe even chat during RAW and Smackdown. I don't know if this'll work out or not but if it does I'll try and get a better chatroom. This one was free but it's not bad. If you guys have any problems accessing the room let me know. Here's the link to the room:

I love this idea, especially concerning RAW and Smackdown! chats. Would make it so much easier for everyone to be in a chat and talking about the shows, and you wouldn't have people getting spoiled as much.

Good work here, keep it up. Hopefully this will catch on and become popular with the boards users. Heres to hoping for the best!

Well I asked LC and Funky to Sticky it but they both said they want to wait and see how it goes. So I guess they're gonna base whether or not they're gonna Sticky it on the responses in this thread.

Well i'll do my part. Great idea, chat is a really good Idea and they should sticky this.

I echo the idea for a sticky. I was thinking it would be one of those things where you had to refresh the page in order to see the newer posts in the chat (I HATE those kinds of chat rooms). But it does seem like a real time one rather than the former, and it's a cool idea that has sadly not been taken advantage of here.

This is an excellent idea! It's a pain in the ass to reload the RAW thread every five seconds to see if I missed a post, then wait for lags as I try to post something that takes five minutes to show up.

You know, AAA made a chat room for such a purpose, but no one ever used it. So that is why there isn't one.

There's not going to be someone in there constantly. Let everybody know when you're going in there that way everybody can be in there at the same time. Just post in this thread when you want to get a chat together.

Anybody feel having a wrestling discussion in the chatroom? I'm fucking bored and the Yahoo wrestling chatroom is a huge suckfest with people singing on the mic and shit.

I would chief, but I'm at work, and they frown upon chat rooms and Ims (which is gay, because I can post all the mssage board shit and email I want)

oh I stickied it alright...for about 10 minutes.

Then I went to chat and it was complete crap.

So I unstickied it.

I wasn't even around when it was Stickied. You can leave it Stickied longer than that, dude. Obviously quite a few people are into the idea. Just because you thought it was crap doesn't mean it's always going to be that way. It'll catch on after awhile. The point of the room is for intelligent wrestling discussion, not acting retarded. Besides, the room is for all the wrestling posters. If you don't like it then don't go in there. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be Sticky.

If someone makes a good one would you sticky it? With out the vote bs. It clearly has support.

What exactly is the problem with the chatroom other than no one being there? Is it the format? the color theme? the conversation? What's wrong with it?

I dont know, I like the idea and am just trying to find a solution.

It didn't have support when I was in there. There was like 6 of us in there. About 4 were saying it ws crap and left quickly. Two of them responded about it on this page. Then the spamming started because it was crap and I felt that it didn't deserve to be stickied for a long time yet.

Until I see some good discussions with a bunch of people going on in there, I will not sticky it.

It's crap right now. I'm going to try to find an alternative.

I suggest maybe using AIM for these chats.

I thought about creating a chatroom on AIM or Yahoo but that won't work out too well because some people only have MSN, some only have AIM, and some only have Yahoo. I was trying to put together a room anybody could access. I looked at alot of free ones but the one I setup is the only one that looked somewhat decent. If anybody has any other suggestions, feel free to post them. I did the best I could.

Does Yahoo even have user chats anymore? I remember they stopped that awhile ago.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot about that. Apparently yahoo has no intentions of bringing them back either. I thought they were gone temporarily but someone in Yahoo Help chatroom said they wouldn't be coming back because people were using them to advertise kiddie porn and shit like that.

Fucking gay. Anyways, I think I've found something.

If It works I'll post it later.
