Out of these select superstars
Which one would make you stop watching WWE if they were champion?
|
OJ owns. All of his power comes from his hair.

Baldcore

Neither. Infact, it would just make me watch more to see where they'd go with it.
|
Orlando. He just sucks. I'd rather see Hardcore than Orlando

Wow, lots of hate for Hardcore.
|
Yeah. To be quite honest, the only one I would stop watching wrestling for if made WWE Champion is Holly. Other than that, it would be very interesting to see the others.

They Alabama slamma
|
OJ... unless he then lost the title to The Canadain Crippler in 22.3 seconds.
|
Holly. Period.
|
holly as champion would be funny as shit just to see who he would beat the fuck out of next
|
Why is Chavo on that list? He's a talented fucking wrestler and his gimmick is entertaining at least. He's not at the same shitty levels of OJ and Hardcore. Shame on those of you who vote for him.
|
Eugene and Chavo should not be on that list
|
I dont think I'd like Eugene as champion, but I sure as hell wouldn't stop watching. He'd be entertaining at least. I think whoever made this list hasn't a clue about what is entertaining, and what isn't
|
well we never know what Nick Dinsmore with a proper gimmick could do. NOT THAT I DONT LOVE EUGENE
|
Eugene-Conway from last week was probably the first Eugene-match I enjoyed since last year. He's growing on me again
|
Eugene has become nothing more than Mick Foley minus some more brain cells.
All he does is job to make the heels credible. |

If this thread was made a couple of years ago Deacon Batista would be on that list.
If given the right push Kerwin or Chavo and Stevie would be ok as champs. Same with Eugene if he became Nick Dinsmore. All three would depend on how much credibility they have. But yeah dead tie between holly and oj. |
Looks like a land slide to me.

Further more, the difference here is that most of the players on that list are established superstars who have made their name and showed their talents. Batista was debuted as the Deacon and then quickly taken away. He had no time to do either. I can see your point though. Basically that we shouldn't judge a talent by what we see on screen and that ultimately, the WWE decides who becomes the champion - not us. Effectively, we're all puppets in their popularity game. |

Looking back at it a better example was to say JBL if this thread was made in 2003. |
Lol. People have turned off because JBL is champion. What's your point?

Batista.
Oh wait. That's right. |
OJ since Holly is pretty much gonna win. Jordan I know can be at least 10% more entertaining than Holly, probably for the fact that you know they'll have someone beat him for the title in 3 seconds.
Holly... you'd know they'd make him that "great fighting champ" style as if that is what he is, when you know that even Simon Dean or Stevie Richards can beat him and everyone beats on those poor bastards. |
Holly is actually a solid worker. I've never seen him botch a move accidentally or blow a spot. If it wasn't for the fact that he's an ass, and that we all know he's an ass, then I might be ok with him.
You know what I'm talking about - listen to the casual fans pop for his sorry ass everytime he comes out. |
I've never stopped watching wrestling even when david arquette was the champ. so, nobody as champ would make me stop watching all together
|
also LOL Didn't Holly get a title shot at No Way Out 2004, and against JBL in the first smackDOWN! in Europe?

Eugene
Stevie being champ would be money |
It'd have about thirty or so posters on here ecstatic, and the rest of the WWE audience completely dumbfounded.
|
When I say No Way Out 2004, I mean Royal Rumble 2004. No Way Out was where Eddie won it :p

I couldn't stop watching WWE no matter who the World/WWE Champ is. Anyone in the WWE has the potential to be at the top, it's all a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I don't know about everybody else here, but personally, the WWE/World Championships aren't the only reason I watch the show anyway. Even if the main event was crap, the mid card my still be worth watching.
Out of those guys, Hardcore is probably the most likely to happen, and I'm not a huge fan, but he is at least semi-decent in the ring, and was quite entertaining through his Super Heavyweight angle back in '99, so he could actually turn out fairly watchable. Orlando Jordan as he is now would be an awful Champion, but bear in mind that he is still relatively inexperienced and he has a long career ahead of him to improve and learn from the best. Eugene and Chavo/Kerwin are both great in-ring talents, and I would be quite happy to see either of them get a chance at a decent shot at the main event. Stevie Richards.....as cool as it would be, he has been in the WWE for a long time now, as one of the longest running jobbers ever, and I don't think it could ever happen. I hope I'm proven wrong. |
You WANT to see Stevie win the title?
