What do you guys think?

A forum where you guys could basically post your own columns at your own free will.

We could set up a moderation system where each thread posted would have to be validated first to make sure it isn't shitty spam and it is at least a decent column or whatever.

Then I could link from it from the main TPWW page and basically use the forum as our columns section.

We good also use the thread rating system to rate each other's columns. As long as everyone used the system properly and voted on a fair basis.

Yeah...though maybe I don't quite understand the benefit of having an entire section of the forum devoted to it when you could just post it in the wrestling section...

isn't there a hack where whatever you post on a certain forum can have the thread name viewable on the main tpww.net site?

and then have beside it Comments (5) or whatever, and that link takes you to the thread?

I've got that on my invision board, we used to have it on a vB i co-own so i'm sure it's available.

Cool, I'd give it a try. I just don't want those kids with their bad spelling and lack of periods on there. That crap is annoying and in paragraph form, even more.

I say go for it.
I'm sure every wrestling fan has thought "Hey, maybe I could do my own column. It's a good idea, and it'll help get my viewpoints across."

My main concern is the people that think "hey may-b i coud get my own colum its a god idea 'n itll help get my view points akross."


When people see the later of the two just ignore their posts.

Perhaps you could pick out some really good ones and have them do columns for the mainsite on a day to day basis.

There wouldn't be any horriblle posts because all of the posts in that forum would be queued till a mod goes over it manually and posts it.

Between LC and myself, we are pretty active in the wrestling forum. Assuming 10-20 threads daily at first, then 5-to 10 after the novelty wears off, I think the 2 of us could easily handle it. It would be even easier if the admins step in as well. I don't see the preoblem. You (collectively) write the columns, we keep the tards out. Simple.

Funny thing is I've told people here many a time to post columns. When Triple A was looking for new columnists and when people weren't picked, I said; "Just post your own column like topic. No one ever did.

I wish this venture well. I just hope there's enough interest.

I'll do my part in modding things.
