Finally Carlito has a finisher *Smackdown Spoiler*
Looks like he is going to use Reno's "Roll of the dice" finisher
|
But he needs to make up his mind as to which way he'll do it. Sometimes it looks like roll the dice, and other times he does it like Luther Reigns old neckbreaker move...
Also, he's taken up using the lung blower. |
I like the way Luther Reigns did it.

I guess there not going to give him a special name for it. |
That move is sick.
|
smackdown spoiler?
I'm gonna call it "Carlito's Edge" |
The Apple turnover
|
Was Afro Thunder taken or something?
|
So basically, you guys are celebrating a finisher he's had for ages?
|
btw he did it to mick foley on raw like over a month ago
|
I'm sure Michael Bucci aka Simon Dean came up with the move first.
|
Meh. I don't care who created it, but he's been using it since the beginning of his career on WWE TV. The problem is that it's an unnamed finisher that he rarely uses.

He used the Overdrive when he first came in, didn't he? Now he's using the Reverse Swinging Neckbreaker. BTW, I love the name "Apple Turnover". Carlito's Edge doesn't sound too bad. What about "Carlito's Wave"? It sort of goes with his beachy Caribbean gimmick, and it sounds a bit like the movie, "Carlito's Way".
Also let him use the Figure Four. |
Overdrive and whatever Carlito's move is called are two completely different moves.

Dammit Alienoid.

They're calling it a fucking "Modified Swinging Neckbreaker," Therefore it is unnamed. |
How many people have used that as a finisher? I got: Test, Reno, Luther Reigns, Bastian Booger.

Hugh Morrus used it before he became a commentator, calling it "No Joke"
|
Chistopher Daniels still does it the best imo.

No. The move he is currently using is a move used by Christopher Daniels, Reno, Luther Reigns, etc. The overdrive was a completely different move. The overdrive was essentially a Rockerdropper into a neckbreaker. :y: |
What was Rob Conway's move technically. They called it the Ego Trip and it was like Roll the Dice but with the opponent's feet on the ropes.

When someone linked us to the page and it still said "Modified swinging neckbreaker," I assumed it was the same move he used to use, since that's the same name. Or rather, lack of name. And that people wee misusing "Roll the dice." |
The move Orton did he placed his leg on the back of his opponents neck, grabbed an arm and gave him a swinging neck breaker from that position, causing them to land on their back. Carlito gets them in a reverse DDT and swings them in a reverse swinging neck breaker making them land on their chest. That should eliminate any confusion.
|
I think that Carlito has used the Overdrive, though. As a matter of fact, I'm almost positive.

So the fact that they haven't changed it now that he's using "Roll the Dice" (If indeed he is) does mak for some confusion. But anyway, the point is he used to use the overdrive as his finisher. |
Whatever the case, Roll the Dice is a smooth move.

Okay, go watch Carlito's match on heat. He does it, and it's Luther Reigns old neckbreaker... IT'S NOT ROLL THE DICE. At least the one he did on Heat wasn't... But the one he did on smackdown was... The one he did on heat looks slick... It was almost like a reverse ddt into a diamond cutter.

Apple Turnover, Classic name D.

AFRO THUNDER is the name of a character in a SEGA boxing game. the game was on the Sega dreamcast..
|
Ready to Rumble! :D
|
I like the name "Carribean Crush", but "Apple Turnover is fucking genius. Can someone say 'Rep'?
|
Also, the only time I saw Carly use the Overdrive was in Rico's last match; that's how he beat him.
|
I will mark out like crazy if I hear them call it Apple Turnover on tv
