Has anyone heard this Matt Hardy Rumor?
 

Apparently, if we look back before Survivor Series, Matt was on a bit of a winning streak, even surviving Mr. Kennedy, but the rumor goes:

WWE wanted Hardy to be chokeslammed by Taker on his SS return with the rest of Smackdown's jobbers, Hardy refused to do that, and he is now being punished by falling into a losing streak (Orton, Booker, JBL) and was really squashed by JBL.

Anyone heard this, it's going all around the net apparently?

Anyways. Them two should be a tag team. It would be so awkward that it'd be great.

I haven't heard anything about it, but I'm willing to bet that he would have jobbed anyways.

Yeah, if the plan was for him to work with those guys he would of jobbed regardless.

But I can't blame Hardy for being pissed about coming out with the jobbers, he's meant to be a mid carder, looks like he's screwed now though, ahh well.

I haven't seen Survivor Series, did Matt come out with them?

This is actually a really good idea. I'd like to see them use something like it.

If anybody remembers, Matt Hardy beat Eddie Guerrero at Backlash 2001 to retain the European Title. So theres still at least a little bit of hope.

The whole story, as in the Observer:

'Hardy has some heat on him in the Smackdown locker room. It mainly stems from Survivor Series. In the closing scene where the Smackdown guys were celebrating and Undertaker came in and cleaned house, Hardy was supposed to take a choke slam from Taker. Apparently Hardy told whichever agent that was giving him the word that he was just starting to gain a little momentum and thought this would slow it down. Naturally this got back to Taker. In catering, I believe in Cinncinnati, they were showing the Raw Vs. Smackdown match back again. When Undertaker's run-in was shown, Undertaker told whoever had the controls to rewind the tape. He pointed out that when he came in and was cleaning house, how Hardy just rolled out of the ring and then started browbeating him, calling him a mark for rolling out. Hardy said that they perhaps could have made an angle out if it in some way, but Taker basically said he wouldn't work with him. He told Hardy to reverse positions, and if he was a veteran on top and some young guy pulled that, how would he feel. He asked Hardy what kind of message did he just send to the locker room, "Are you better than anybody else?" Hardy was said to have had his head down and just took it. This may have explained why Hardy was buried by Orton, who never even acknowledged later in the show in his long promo, and then had 8:00 edited off the match.'

It's seriously ironic Taker asking Matt if he's better than anybody though.

Thing about Taker and the Hardy's....

He's got all the respect in the world for Matt and Jeff. But Taker doesn't take shit from anyone and this just proves it.

He also doesn't job clean, and lives by draconic rules which hurt the business.

Respect means nothing, to that end.

But when you go out, night after night, and get the same reaction simply by staring at people...that's special.

Though you are right. Taker does hurt the biz something feirce.

TBH, you could get the same reaction from anyone with teh right props.
