Official New Years Revolution Thread-01/08/06--Elimination Chamber
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/ima...r_wwechamp.jpg
In his last act as RAW General Manager, Eric Bischoff decided that the WWE Championship would be up for grabs inside the Elimination Chamber. And on the Dec. 12 edition of RAW, interim GM Mr. McMahon announced five qualifying matches to see who would join John Cena inside the Chamber on Jan. 8 (WATCH a look at the qualifying matches). In the first qualifying match, Kurt Angle earned himself another shot at the gold by defeating Ric Flair. Carlito then defeated Shelton Benjamin and Chris Masters defeated Viscera to earn the third and fourth slots. In the next qualifying match, Triple H cost Big Show a spot in the Chamber. As Show had Shawn Michaels beaten, Triple H intervened, nailing HBK with a chair to get Show disqualified. However, Big Show would get his revenge, helping tag team partner Kane deliver a double chokeslam to defeat Triple H and earn the final slot. On the Dec. 26, edition of RAW, all the Elimination Chamber participants took part in "Beat the Clock" Matches for the right to enter the Elimination Chamber last. By the end of the night, Kane had established the best time -- an impressive 28-second victory over both members of The Heart Throbs. With the win, Kane will have the important advantage of entering the Chamber last — thereby being the freshest and healthiest Superstar in the battle for the WWE Championship. John Cena has overcome difficult odds time and again during his eight-month reign. Will he step up again, or will these odds prove insurmountable inside the demonic structure known to tear up the bodies of its participants? One week ater beating the clock (WATCH Beat the Clock video), Mr. McMahon put Kane in a match with Shawn Michaels. But after a confrontation with HBK the week before, Mr. McMahon banned Sweet Chin Music in the match. The Chairman stayed at ringside during the match and distracted HBK, allowing Kane to pick up another win (WATCH a look at the match). Following the loss, Mr. McMahon decided that Michaels will enter the Elimination Chamber first (WATCH HBK hear the bad news). Later in the evening John Cena faced Kurt Angle in a First Blood Match (WATCH a look at the match). Thanks to some interference from Daivari, Angel was able to bust Cena open thanks to a steel chair. But Cena was able to shake off the blood and lock Angle in the STFU. Chris Masters and Carlito then ran to the ring and attacked Cena. Angle recovered, but Masters then hooked him in the Master Lock. It wasn't long before HBK and Kane came down as well to join the fray. HBK was the last man standing until Cena miraculously came back and hit an FU, leaving all six Elimination Chamber competitors laying in the ring. Will this be the kind of carnage that will be seen at New Year's Revolution? Only Kane and Michaels have competed inside the Elimination Chamber before. Will that prior experience propel them to victory, or will Carlito or Masters climb the ladder and win their first WWE Championship? Will Angle finally get his hands on the gold again, or will The Champ overcome all the odds once again to walk out of New Year’s Revolution with his gold? |
Not getting this guy. Waiting for the Rumble.

I'm only getting it out of boredom.
By the way, TNA's PPV next week looks to be much better than this one, and likely than the Rumble.
Well keep me updated then Jaton, I'd like to know whats going on.
watch this be only 1 page long
I'll try to update after every match. I'm having friends over, like every single wrestling event, so I'll do my best. I tend to walk away from the PPV and Raw threads, even if I make them.
So, are they going to sneak any last minute matches in you think?
Quote:
There aren't any tag matches either
Since I can't spam the Raw thread anymore, here I am.
And keep me up to date, fuckers. |
The tag matches always suck anyways. Again, I was watching impact last night, and I was thinking..hm..the main event is Shelley/Aries/Strong vs. AJ/Daniels/Sabin..and in WWE I absolutely fucking DREAD tags and six man tags, but this one I was actually looking forward to. And it delivered..unlike WWE tag matches. God damnit..I'm on a rant.
Edge wins the IC and then wins the World. I would mark out.
I'll wait and download it.

IT's Raw or Martial Arts.
So I go out, get my ass kicked, and tape Raw. |
Quote:
You and me both. :( I seriously hope he takes the IC tonight. Don't know what the odds are of that though. |
The sound is delayed like.. 5 seconds, Kind of annoying.
LOL Kurt saying if he could go back in time and make anyone tap he would make Jesus tap.
What's first match?
Anything happening?

EDGE MIGHT USE HIS MONEY IN THE BANK TONIGHT!
There's a thingy on WWE.com like the old superstar hotline but you type in questions instead of calling them in, So Edge was supposed to be on it but said he doesn't care about Flair or the IC title and that he has bigger things to worry about. King Vs. Gregory Helms up next. oh and btw a backstage skit with Shelton and his momma. |

Quote:
EDIT-never mind, saw Ecko's last post |

Styles and Coach aren't that bad tonight
It's actully a good PPV.
Edge won't cash it in, trust me on that [/Madman]
but it would seem logical since the champ would be dead tired at the end
I predict either Masters or Carlito is going through the glass |
King won

Kurt Angle is the MAN.
Only he could say all that and get away with it. LOL It's a cheesy way of trying to get the boos off of Cena though. |
Quote:
ROFL, Kurt Angle.
oh, come on. Use MITB tonight, Edge. |
So if Cena wins the elimination chamber, then Edge comes out and uses MITB, who d'ya think the fans would cheer?
Prolly Edge, eh? |
well Shelton/Viscera is gonna be the throw together match tonight
Triple H Wins
It would be nice if you specified how matches are won.
Triple H FTW.
according to observer, HHH won with a pedigree
Shelton Vs. Viscera
Quote:
Tough choice. |
Fuck it... Triple H nailed Show with the broken handle of the Sledgehammer then nailed the Pedigree
Carlito and Masters are gonna team up in the Chamber to eliminate all the past champions so some new blood will get a chance at the championship.
Quote:
thanks
Sheltons mom is fuckin annoying at ringside
Shelton wins.. i didn't see how because i'm talking to my girlfriend... i'll catch the replay then tell you
Shelton wins via his moms bag to Visceras head twice
The mom was getting winded out there
Quote:
I was hoping she'd give him the belt. :( |
Vince telling HBK again that no one has entered the chamber at #1 and won, HBK tells him all his matches he's been in such as first to win the Rumble entering number 1, first to compete in a ladder match and first to compete in a HIAC match and HBK tells Vince that there's a first time for everything with HBK. Vince then tells him that it'll be the first time hell froze over if he won.
Bra and Panties Gaunlet match next |
ah no wonder Punk is tapping Maria, she's from Chicago
They' ve literally got Shelton to the point where he needs his mommy to help him win his matches. :nono:
Quote:

Maria should give Candice the Pepsi Plunge

Well credibility is one of the most important things in wrestling, if you're not believable the audience wont accept you and you'll never get anywhere.
