They broke up in 1996.

I would love to see The Clash. The Specials and Ramones would be second.

Mike the Metal Ed 01-31-2004 09:59 AM

Probably Sabbath in their prime.

Or I'd cheat and go to a Monsters of Rock instead of seeing a single band.

Cactus Sid 01-31-2004 10:19 AM

Smashing Pumpkins, circa 1995

i'd love to be able to see the different eras of the pink floyd but probably around 1970-ish would be cool. known for their improvisation and drawn out numbers as well as state of the art sound equiptment.

K, transcripted from the magazine (Metal Hammer, if you're interested) - just a short interview, part of a Probot special they did. Skipping the irrelevant stuff:

---

Speaking of which, Cronos recorded his parts for Probot before injuring himself in a climbing accident. Doctors had predicted immobility for a year, but now fully recovered, he and guitarist Mantas are starting to think about Venom again. Given the pair's hate-hate relationship with Abaddon, the drummer's once again likely to be replaced by Antton.

"I'm getting sore fingers from playing and I'm getting back into shape again," he maintains. "My roadie died a while back, and Abaddon had the balls to put all the fighting aside to turn up for his funeral, but he's had enough of the music business. His solo album ('00's 'I Am Legion') didn't sell squat and he said in interviews he'd retire from music at 40, so maybe that's what he's done. I considered asking him to tour manage us, as he enjoyed doing that for other bands, but I know I could never be a roadie for a guy playing bass in Venom."

---

So yeah...draw your own conclusions :$
