Two more Hall of Fame Inductees (Not sure if this is a SPOILER)
WWE has announced that William "The Refrigerator" Perry is being inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the Hall Of Fame on April 1. It makes sense since the bulk of Perry's NFL career (pun intended) took place in Chicago for the Bears. Perry was one of the NFL players to compete in the NFL/WWF Battle Royal at WrestleMania 2 at the Rosemont Horizon.
WWE has also confirmed what we have been reporting for weeks now. Tony Atlas will be inducted to the Hall Of Fame as well. Source: http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=17066&p=1 |
Lawrence Taylor, Mr T and Mike Tyson should all be there before him.
|
Fridge is in possibly because he played for the Chicago Bears and WM is in Chicago this year.
|
why the fuck wont they induct The Road Warriors
total bullshit |

They still use Hogan though.
And they should stick Flair and "Buffet" in now and retire both of them anyway. |
or the WWE could tag them up. BRILLIANT.

lol Andre in the yellow tights. Remember that? He was a Hulkamaniac.
|
What the hell @ the selection but it's about time someone else was put in there. Some others should have been put in there before him though.
|
Does WWE not get on with Mr T or Something?
I know Piper doesnt like him but i mean come on. |

Mr. T pitties wiggas, FOO!
|
In all honesty, Mr. T should have been the FIRST in the Celeberty part of the HOF...
|
Chuck Norris.
|
Chuck Norris doesn't need to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame needs to be inducted into Chuck Norris.

Why does Piper not like him, I dont recall why? |
Where the fuck is andre? my god i would have put him in already
|
He was the first one in.

And yet another example of why the WWE's HOF is utter bullshit.
|
They do something noble by inducting Eddie.
They do something respectable by inducting Gagne. They do something the fans wanted by inducting Bret. ...then they induct the fridge? hmmmm, did they lose their list of the possible candidates? |
Dammit, BARRY FRIGGIN' HOROWITZ needs to be inducted soon, fuckdammit!!
|
Why the fuck are they inducting 43 wrestlers every year? They should only be inducting 3-5 per year to make it more special.

That doesnt make any sense. |
To be honest, they shouldnt even have anybody else, and should just fucking praise the Hitman. He deserves this special merit and consideration. He is too far above them all. Too far.
Bret is carrying this HOF. Just as he's always done things. |

Look I love Bret Hart as much as the next guy, but he isn't a god. He is a very fine performer who (for whatever reason) couldn't connect with the average wrestling fan. |
Ratings were down due to the state of pro wrestling in 1993 to about late 95...nothing Bret could do on his own.
One man does not make a company, unless you are Hogan, and yet he even had help from great characters in Piper etc..what did Bret have? He had to wrestle Isaac Yankem and Pierre Lafitte..who could make anything with those guys at the time work? But if you take a look at Bret, easily one of the MOST popular performers worldwide. Bret was gold for the company overseas and beyond, and wasnt solely their top draw in the US. As stated previously, Bret is the man. Eddie hell, should have been inducted along with his own peers years later. |

I have to face the fact that Billy Gunn is a peice of shit in the eyes of most, and you have to accept that Bret Hart is NOT as great as Hart Marks think. |
Quote:
Well then how is it that it was Diesel who had the worst ever buy rates and ratings for a world champ, and he held that title for about a year, and HBk held that title for about 8 months in 1996, yet it is Bret that takes credit for the poor business of the mid 90's.? Splain Lucy. |
Bret was a HUGE draw Overseas (Europe, Asia etc) That's been a proven fact for the longest time. How are we still disputing that? So many people inside the industry have said this already.
|
Yeah Bret was massive in the UK and pretty much the rest of Europe.
|
Quote:
Ric Flair is, right? :shifty: |
