south park !!!!!

what more can i say. i heart this show more than any show that has gone before.

JJ Moore 04-06-2006 08:08 AM

Yeah the latest ep (1003) is pretty good.

The Mask 04-06-2006 11:07 AM

try my mr. T... tea.

rofllll. ragging on family guy and muslims in one episode. i can't help but love it

The Mask 04-06-2006 11:13 AM

"now put yourself in the shoes of a muslim, it's friday night but you can't have sex, and you can't jack off. there's sand in your eyes and probably in the crack of your ass, then some cartoon comes along from a country where people are getting laid and mocks your prophet, well you know what, i'd be pretty pissed off too"

:'(!!!

Ninti the Mad 04-06-2006 12:26 PM

lol I can see it now.

Family Guy busts out an episode in South Park style animation.

Xero 04-06-2006 01:07 PM

It was pretty great. I love how they hit so many things in that episode. Family Guy, Muslims, Scientologists (the big picture is clearly about them), themselves. I can't wait for next week.

What was Kyle talking about when he said that someone gave him sound advice? Was it Cartman or a hint/jab at Chef?

The scary thing about episode is that, even though I'm a HUGE Family Guy fan (moreso than South Park) they hit the nail right on the head. Everything they did in the parodies is spot on what Family Guy would do, only in a sort of less-humorus way (to knock them, obviously).

All the flashbacks they did is EXACTLY what FG would do.

Savio 04-06-2006 05:17 PM

It also expressed there frustrations with Comedy central pulling there episodes. (I think it was the big point)

The Mask 04-06-2006 05:35 PM

what episodes have been pulled?

What was the Bloody Mary one?

They refused to air it in reruns. After it's first run (I think three or so times in one week) it wasn't aired again.

(As you probably gathered from the above posts)

weather vane 04-07-2006 03:29 PM

Both of those are being shown in Canada on The Comedy Network.

toxic rooster 04-09-2006 01:06 AM

The Bloody Mary one was shit.

For the benefit of Xero Limit whatever, Randy got caught drink driving and thought his alcoholism was a disease, some religious guy found a statue of the Virgin Mary was bleeding out of its arse and everyone thought it was a miracle so they went and worshipped the statue and hoped it would heal them if it bled on them, then Pope Benedict shows up and realises the Virgin Mary is bleeding out of her vagina, and that's no miracle.

Quite terrible episode, wasn't really funny at all - just offensive.

Also, @ Cartman's big speech about everyone comparing him to Family Guy

The Mask 04-09-2006 03:23 PM

nah, Randy in that line of people all crippled and with like terminal illnesses is brilliant.

ct2k 04-12-2006 04:45 PM

When it's on form South Park is about as funny as funny gets. I saw the Peta piss-take episode recently, fuckin brilliant

loopydate 04-12-2006 05:13 PM

I wasn't really all that impressed with this week's episode, but I laughed my ass off at Cartman going off on Family Guy. That is exactly my argument whenever my friends ask me why I don't like FG. I just never thought I'd hear my thoughts coming out of Cartman's mouth.

FakeLaser 04-12-2006 05:30 PM

Randy might be the best character on the show.

The Mask 04-12-2006 06:05 PM

city wok guy is up there too

FakeLaser 04-12-2006 06:15 PM

lol, forgot about him.

The Mask 04-13-2006 07:30 AM

laundry date winning mexico gary coleman. rofllllll

owenbrown 04-13-2006 09:37 AM

All I can say about this two-parter is..... WHAT THE FUCK?! :wtf:

Savio 04-13-2006 11:38 AM

"I stole the head off a statue"

"I started the second holocaust"

that episode was great

Fox 04-14-2006 01:44 AM

The double episode had a good build up, but the second act really failed to follow up on it. I guess it was entertaining enough though.

Savio 04-14-2006 01:54 AM

I wonder what Family Guy will say to all of this.

Quote:

Peter: I'm gonna fix that Refridgerator

Brian: You mean like the time you tried to fix the animation on south park?

Mr. Monday Morning 04-14-2006 06:27 AM

The difference is South Park is produced in like a week, Family Guy takes months. There won't be a rebuttal anytime soon unless they do a awkward voiceover or something when they're recording the audio.

packt up 04-14-2006 11:12 AM

Man I loved the two part episode. I really love Family Guy but I equally love South Park and lol at the writers...

I'm happy that both are around to entertain me :y:

FakeLaser 04-14-2006 01:07 PM

I love Family Guy but it's clear which show is superior.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-14-2006 01:17 PM

Wait a second, I thought the part where the black screen came up saying Comedy Central is not showing the image of Muhammad was a joke on the show. I didn't know Comedy Central actually pussed out and pulled the image.

That's laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

Supreme Olajuwon 04-14-2006 01:22 PM

Also, hi, South Park kinda already did an episode depicting Muhammad with the Super Best Friends. If I can quote Randy Marsh here: "Aww, god dammit."

toxic rooster 04-14-2006 01:22 PM

Wait, you mean that wasn't a gag?

rofl I thought it was.

Where'd you read that?

toxic rooster 04-14-2006 01:27 PM

Search on Google News, it's being reported everywhere :o

RGWhat316 04-14-2006 01:41 PM

I was torn with the past 2 weeks episodes. I love both South Park and Family Guy, but it was bound a feud would happen. SP even got The Simpsons and King of the Hill in this weeks episode as well. Bart killed me cus he looked like one of their basic little kids, only with the spiked hair.

Mr. Monday Morning 04-14-2006 01:55 PM

Article

Wow, did Comedy Central even watch the episodes? Talk about completely missing the message.

Also, ROFL at the Catholic League idiot

Supreme Olajuwon 04-14-2006 02:42 PM

I wouldn't be suprised if Stone and Parker just got Comedy Central to go along with it. I mean South Park is CC's meal ticket.

Mr. Monday Morning 04-14-2006 02:56 PM

Entirely possible. Everything they do is pretty much for their own amusement, can only imagine how much they're laughing at how much the geeks on AICN and the like are arguing over Family Guy vs South Park - Which Is Better

94 SVT Cobra 04-15-2006 03:01 AM

I dont get why the hell they had to attack the formula of a show (FG), it made no sense...i mean, well all know how hard it is in this time and day to make a show based outta shock value and watch its ratings go up.....oh and dont forget how hard to it is to pick a touchy subject then just shit on it and never have an episode that really has a true point to it outside of that shock value.
I love both shows really, but to sit there and attack a show that follows a certain type of way of comedy, is stupid beacuse in theory, everyone has wat they like....i think its called fan bases or something like that. Either way tho, the episode was funny and im not takin sides really, just stating it was kinda stupid.

FG is going to get them back, and there going to do it suttley like this i bet. in one episode theres just gonna be a runing joke of seeing people in front of tvs and meg/brian/whoever is just gonna be like "hey what are you watching?" and chirs (only one i can see sayin this) will say "south park" and peter or who ever is just going to say "oh" with alook of disgust on their face. then at the end of the episode someones gonna ask "hey isnt this that show that took a shot at some other cartoon show and got big again beacuse there shows were becoming to touchy to be put on more then once a week in feeble atempts to not just die off?" and someone will say "yea, but what about that show that was taken off the air for 5+ years then some company bought the reruns rights too and despite the episodes being shown years ago, still got some of the highest ratings and then, from that got put back on the air?"

Way to miss the point, fucktard.

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Supreme Olajuwon 04-15-2006 07:26 PM

I dunno 94 SVT Cobra, if the Family Guy writers came up with jokes like that they'd probably get cancelled again.

I think fox realized this time around to calm down a bit. the jokes werent THAT bad, and the show is a gold mine now more then ever...i havent missed a new episode yet, nor have a missed a new south park. I think their both great shows, and its gonna be funny to watch were this goes

Mr. Monday Morning 04-16-2006 05:45 AM

It's not going anywhere

loopydate 04-16-2006 12:56 PM

Family Guy isn't clever enough to fire back.

PETER: Hey, remember that time I went to Colorado?
[Flashback]
"CARTMAN": BEEFCAAAAAAAKE!
[Back to the present]
PETER: Man, was that weird!

Savio 04-17-2006 07:44 PM

They'll still probably do better then the Simpsons attempt.

Disturbed316 04-18-2006 05:23 PM

Thanks Officer Dick Hole

RP 04-20-2006 01:56 AM

Minge and Gary

I cried laughing when i thought about Gary, because every guy i know named Gary is an ass hole.

Scarface 04-20-2006 04:15 AM

That was a hella wierd episode.

DaveWadding 04-20-2006 05:06 AM

LOL YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Funky Fly 04-20-2006 06:12 AM

ROFL Migey and Gary. Too bad they're dead. Woulda been great characters to fall back on every now and then.

toxic rooster 04-20-2006 08:39 AM

You're missing the more significant part - the long awaited return of Towelie

Chico 04-20-2006 10:23 AM

Just watched the latest episode - man was that hella weird. But yay for the return of Towelie!

BTW, when was the last time they showed a South Park episode without either Stan, Kyle, Cartman or Kenny in it? The only other one I can think of was that Great Expectations story starring Pip.

Oh, and this is post number...69, dude!

The Mask 04-20-2006 03:55 PM

not without my anus too.

also, this was a prettyy shit episode as far as they go :'( had a few funny moments but it's obvious they were just trying to get back at comedy central for censoring them or whatever

Mr. Monday Morning 04-20-2006 04:55 PM

Dunno I think something v similar happened a few months ago, at least as far as Oprah endorsing some guy who lied in a book or something. I don't believe her vagina shot a police officer though.

Savio 04-20-2006 05:42 PM

I dunno it might have.
----------------------------
They really half assed it, half of the episode was a shot of Oprahs vagina.

That episode did actually have Cartman in it - at the start, and when T&P are watching American TV. Sure, he was only shown for a short time, but to me that counts.

toxic rooster 04-22-2006 10:56 AM

He's just been mixing Cheng sauce for 15 minutes

road doggy dogg 04-23-2006 02:57 AM

Delicious episode.

Scarface 04-27-2006 04:25 AM

Half Man, half bear, half pig.

Whats with that tard saying cereal instead of serious btw?

The Mask 04-27-2006 09:40 AM

that episode sucked, again :'(

DaveWadding 04-28-2006 01:34 AM

Yeah this one did suck. Not funny at all.

toxic rooster 04-28-2006 10:47 AM

Before I download it, let me ask the million dollar question:

Is this episode actually worse than 20 minutes of Oprah's vagina talking to her arsehole?

Mr. Monday Morning 04-28-2006 12:18 PM

When you put it like that, no.

Still pretty bad though.

Scarface 04-28-2006 12:45 PM

god no

packt up 04-29-2006 01:17 PM

Wow last two really sucked, first one more though.

Savio 04-29-2006 02:35 PM

I think Trey and Matt are pissed at comedy central.

Sepholio 04-29-2006 03:29 PM

I'm super serial!@

Nervous Ferret 04-29-2006 03:39 PM

Seph!

Skippord 04-29-2006 04:18 PM

The serial thing was ROFL but the rest not so much

Savio 05-04-2006 06:13 PM

Lasts nights episode was awesome.
