Who hasn't been stolen from?
So I was thinking, what wrestlers haven't had somebody else use their finishing move? I can only think of Mic Foley and the mandible claw. Unless he stole that from somebody I think he's the only one to have his own move.
|
Nah, someone else used the mandible claw back in the 70's (I think).
|
The Mandible Claw is done in Japan I believe. I believe it's called the Iron Claw, could be wrong.
If you mean "borrowed"/"Non-innovative" moves, Rey's the only one who does the 619 as far as I know. He's not the first to do the fake dive, but the first to use it in the way he does. |
Yeah, the 619 move is usually done as a fake out to diving outside the ring, not as an offensive move.
|
Also, The Undertaker's the only one to use The Last Ride (not a normal Powerbomb) I think.
|
Well, the most obvious to me is the Sharpshooter/Scorpion Deathlock. Now everybody from Austin (I believe he used it once or twice in his career. Correct me.) to Beniot uses it as a backup or if they are thrown into a submission only match.
|
According to Wikipedia, the Haas brothers are the only ones to use the Haas of Pain.

Did Umaga steal the 'taped railroad spike thumb of doom' from anybody?
|

|
yeah, because Rey stole one of his moves. Which one I dunno.
|
619 is in Cali I thought
|
Low Ki has used the 619 a few times.Probably a bit before rey was using it.

Yeah, the 619 has been used.
So has the last ride (Big Boss MAGMA or whatever he's called now does it in Dragongate.) The iron claw is not the mandible claw. |
haas brother
|
The sunset flip bomb and 619 have both been done by Amazing Red, Low Ki and a ton of other indy and jap guys have used the moves also.
|
I've don't think I've seen anyone other then Low Ki, use the Ki Krusher 99.
And CM Punk is the only one I know of that uses the Pespi Plunge...I know Chyna did it once to Jericho but that really doesn't count does it? |

Haku/Meng used two fingers to the bottom of the jaw called the Toungan Death Grip
|
Oh right. I've definitely seen that thumb shit somewhere before.
With the tape too I think. But I can't think right now. Kurrgan maybe? |
I've seen someone use it as a Submission Move
I beleive it was Glaciar, which he did it after his superkick, for a breif time in (October/November 1998 WCW) |
Yea Glacier did use the Asiatic Spike. He called it the Ice Pick

Just realized I said basically twice.
Basically. |
What about the RKO?
|
What about the 630 done by Jack Evans?
Now I am pretty sure that Milano AT is the only person to do the Milano Shoe Exchange ( Imagine a lionsault, where he twists at the last second turning it into a senton, it looks nice.) The Danshoku Driver (Head in the tights piledriver) I'm sure hasn't been stolen, nor has POISON Julie's little trance move. I don't think Kenta Kobashi's Diamond Head has been ripped off, but that is an assumed botch at this point. I don't think anyone has used KENTA's Go 2 Sleep, but I wouldn't be surprised if an indy guy ripped it off. Has anyone outside of Low-Ki done the Tidal Crush? Or Black Magic? (I think that's what he calls his shining wizard feint, backwards axe kick move.) |

Does anyone know if anyone besides Milano Collection AT has done the Paradise Lock (and the paradise lock in the ropes?)
|
WWKD, I'm pretty sure I've seen someone do the Milano Shoe Exchange besides AT, but I can't remember who. I know Carlito did a version of it on an episode of Raw a while back.
|
Can't think of anyone that has used the Paradise Lock either. Also I just watched a clip of Kobashi doing the Diamond Head, and it definitely looks like a botch.
|
Jerrle Clark and Jack Evans both use the 630.I cant really think of anyone that used the razors edge besides Hall.

EDIT: And Jinsei "Hakushi" Shinzeki also uses it as a finisher. |
As far as the Razor's Edge, I'm pretty sure The Great Sasuke was doing it before Hall even.
There's another move I saw that I don't know if anyone else does, but I don't even know the guy who did it. He had a guy laying on the mat, across the corner (think split legged moonsault posistion.) and he ran to the ropes, grabbed the top, jumped up to and off the second rope, and sort of tucked his head, rolled forward, and hit a senton. It looked pretty slick. Anyone know who that was? |
Carlito?? He does that crazy second rope spinning senton.
|
I don't think anyone uses RVD's Rolling Thunder or Legdrop across the Barricade moves on a regular basis. I know I've seen some indy wrestlers like Christopher Daniels use the split-legged moonsault, but again, not on a regular basis.
No one has stolen the Canadian Destroyer yet (aside from the backyard leagues). I've never seen anyone do the cocked-back guillotine legdrop like Kenny from The Spirit Squad does, although it's still pretty much just a guillotine legdrop. I've never seen anyone else do AJ Styles' kip-up into a huricanrana. I think Brock Lesnar came up with the F-5 and is the first person to use it. I know Matt Morgan used it for a short while before he was released, but other than that, I can't think of anyone else who has used it. Oh, and HBK's superkick. |

And also the Superkick has been done by millions of People
Lance Storm, Justin Credible, Perry Saturn, John Kronus, Steve Corino, Glaciar, Steven Richards And while the Canadian Destroyer was done quite a bit in Japan...A.J Styles, had used it once against a member of Team Canada, which I beleive was Eric Young, when him and Petey were fueding a few weeks before TNA first 3 hour PPV Victory Road |
i know it might well have been stolen but wheres the pedigree been taken from?
|
I'm not sure exactly. I'm sure he's not the originator, someone would have had to come up with a chicken-winged facebuster before him.
