And sorry Slugs, but no one join his league. Yet. I'm pretty sure there will be an overfill. We've always had one huge group, one group of the ELITES, and one or two that other start by themselves so Slugs' league is a last resort.

DrA is some old school respected guy needs to set up thhe big 16 person or so league. DrA or whoever is running, will pm league info to who should go in ie: old timers people with spots from last year aka to insure that like a SuperBrawl83 doesn't join and never show up.

Then I dunno, RP's and Slugs league will be the backups I guess

But for the big TPWW league don't post the info here because then anyone could get innn

I, like a lot of others, am only joining one TPWW league so not to be a dickhead but I kinda wanna join a good one. So someone let me know what the deal is.

Again I am not trying to be like Mr. Cool Shit over here but the one DrA sets up, I say we it put out in a PM to the "regulars" of the league over the last few years. And if some people back out/don't respond/are dead (actaully I don't think da_king was in it) then just leave those spots open to whoever. No offesne to people who haven't been in the league, nothing againest any of you but its been a "pretty good run" with the same league the last few years so I kinda wanna keep it going.

Here's what I might do:

If you guys miss the draft, I'll give you like the worst draft picks (which I guess would be 15 and 16), meaning you would still have a team (albeit probably a shitty team) and the flow of the draft keeps on.

I wouldn't do this just to be mean, but I just don't think it would be fair that someone that doesn't show up for the draft gets LaDainian Tomlinson while someone that waited all day to draft their players can only get Dennis Northcutt.

I just realized I would have to do the whole draft order to do that.

If you can come, that's great, but if you can't, email me so I can determine ahead of time what to do.

Nah, I hear you. I (and about everyone else) missed my own draft and I was pissed. I did manage to get a good team though.

But anyway, I wouldn't have a problem with that. I SHOULD be there, I dunno. I move in on the Friday and I'll probably be able to get my comp set up by then. Like I said, FINGERS CROSSED.

Why does it matter if someone is there or not? There is pre-draft rankings for a reason. You definetly get a better team if you are there so you already have that advantage, I really don't see the big deal if certain people can't make it.

Not saying this becuase I can't make it, because I can but I don't see the big deal with people who can't.

Except the defense rankings are so fucked up that it's unbelievable.

And it used to be that you would have to wait three minutes for the computer to choose the draft pick, but I guess that isn't the case now.

It also used to be that the only people that missed the draft were people like KooS and BR who didn't even check their teams at all (I can totally understand if it's for an uncontrollable reason, but that has been the case a lot of the time).

So, for those of you who cannot make it for reasons beyond your control, pre-rank your players (especially the defense) and you should do fine.

Yeah I was gonna mention something about the time it took between computer picks being the only problem, but thats pretty pimp that they stopped that.

Anyone who can't make just needs to prerank like 1000 players, otherwise you'll get stuck with Dre Bly (pretty sure I pre-ranked atleast 200 players) in the 3rd round like I did a few years ago when I missed the draft.

Will it go through and fill in all open starting slots before drafting the bench guys? Cause that'll make pre-ranking even easier cause I can cluster the D guys I want in one area so my offensive starters will get picked first.</font> :y:

Yeah, I believe that's how they do it. They will see what you don't have and fill it in as so.

Hey, what if I move the draft to next Saturday (or Sunday)? Would your schedules be able to fit that in?

I'm not saying that that's what I'm going to do, but it ultimately may be more convenient that way.

I absolutely cannot do next Sunday (13th) as I'll be at an RoH show. You could always push it back a week to like the 26th.

Also, Ferret appears to be dead, or on holiday or something. I doubt he would've pre-ranked :(

Keep it the way it is. 16 people can't possibly fit it into their schedules. It's pretty late in the day for me, but I'll deal.

I'm leaning towards keeping it as it is right now as well. As long as people who aren't sure if they can make it prerank (with the exception of Ferret, who appears to be AWOL) then it should go ok. Might be an idea to send out reminders to everyone like a couple days before just to be sure.

Leave it as is.. if you change it then another 5 people won't be able to make it. Just pre rank your players, it won't come out so bad...winning an NFL league is a crapshoot with so many injuries every year.
