Check This Out. (Could be Spoilers SurvivorSeries)

http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/1...06dxnwoal9.jpg

This is fake right? Just thought it looked interesting. If it were true, just who would represent the nWo? Hogan? It has to be fake.

The Naitch 07-25-2006 11:20 PM

interesting

probably gonna fall short of expectations like EVERY OTHER POTENTIAL GREAT ANGLE to ever happen in WWE

The Naitch 07-25-2006 11:21 PM

lol I'd laugh if they had Hogan go Hollywood again

Destor 07-25-2006 11:22 PM

NWO/DX is probably the best stable feud possible today. But who would team with Hogan? Scott Hall? Yeah right. Gotta be fake.

LoDownM 07-25-2006 11:23 PM

Vince's last resort to get rid of DX maybe?

loopydate 07-25-2006 11:27 PM

Gotta be fake. DX, ECW, and nWo all in the span of six months?

The Naitch 07-25-2006 11:28 PM

so where did he find that pic anyways

James Steele 07-25-2006 11:31 PM

Yeah. So many people make graphics now to enterain themselves and put them on forums to get rated and such that a link is really needed for any graphical representation of an event to be a legitimate spoiler or even remotely believeable.

Kane Knight 07-25-2006 11:32 PM

I would laugh if it happened, but I'm betting no. At least it's better than the last "fake" DX pic.

James Steele 07-25-2006 11:35 PM

We'll find out with we hear anything about WWE buying a shitload of spray paint.

The Naitch 07-25-2006 11:35 PM

wasn't there a "fake" DX pic and few months later DX reunited

brb gonna go entertain myself by making a PPV poster of The Rock returning to the Rock Bottom PPV in October

Skippord 07-25-2006 11:37 PM

The pic was still fake and obviously so. It was a bad photoshop.

The One 07-25-2006 11:59 PM

Seriously, Orton banging Hogan's bitch of a daughter is one thing, but to bring him back full time is enough to make me turn RAW off forever.

Kane Knight 07-26-2006 12:06 AM

What you wanna bet Hogan swerves us, joins up with Orton, and Starts the New New World Order.

HBK & HHH vs. Brian Adams, Virgil, V.K. Wallstreet, Buff Bagwell, Horace, and Mikey

FourFifty 07-26-2006 02:25 AM

Ya know what I'd love to see? DX... Triple H, HBK, Ken Doane and Helms (hey, this is long tem booking for SS, so it can happen) vs....

Now you think the nWo vs DX would be the greatest fued ever? I'm going to say you're half right.

Ric Flair, William Regal, Johny Nitro and JBL.

DeGenration X vs The Four Horsemen!
I would masturbate to that match.

Lara Emily 07-26-2006 02:46 AM

It has to be fake the photoshop quality is too good for it to be official.

If you are talking about the Vengence poster

ie this one:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...eance_2006.gif

It was actually real. We had it at the movie theatre I work at. If there was another bad DX poster than ignore this post heh.

Tommy Gunn 07-26-2006 05:23 AM

I hate babbyface Hogan, it's far too cliche and predictable. Hogan was so much more interesting in WCW as the leader of nWo. Plus when he had his dark stubble-look it hid his wrinkles and made him look a bit younger.

Xero 07-26-2006 09:07 AM

I could actually buy that as the actual poster. They could be extending the Orton/Hogan feud... Orton joins up with DX and they bring back X Pac (to even it out to 4) and has someone else join up for that night only. Who would be in the nWo I really don't know, unless they do the Spirit Squad, and how gay would that be?

JH 07-26-2006 09:22 AM

oh shit i could see it now

Spirit Squad: It's Kenny,Mikey,Johnny,Nicky & Mitch and we're the nWo YAYYYYYYYYY

Xero 07-26-2006 09:38 AM

Vince: I'm going to inject a lethal dose of POISON! I'm going to kill it! I'm going to...

*Hogan walks by*

Hogan: DAMMIT TERRY! DID YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGH ON THE PROMO!?

Camera guy: Vince, we're live...

Vince:... FUCK!

Naw. The one that was Just the veangance logo on black with DX over it. It looked like it was done with the spray can in MS Paint.

St. Jimmy 07-26-2006 11:25 AM

To be fair the poster looks legit... Although that fued would suck. Horribly. Since they have no talent to put over as the "nWo".

Besides Orton, who the hell would be in DX also? As I said, even if they bring in X Pac, it'll only be a 4 on 4 elimination match and not 5 on 5...

FourFifty 07-26-2006 11:41 AM

If they bring in X-Pac baby Jesus will die a little inside.

Xero 07-26-2006 11:43 AM

He's the only one I can think of who is a former DX member, isn't under a TNA contract, who the WWE is on relatively good terms with, and isn't a complete and utter nobody.

St. Jimmy 07-26-2006 12:47 PM

Before anyone on TPDUB says it, NO. There is no chance in hell that Ken Kennedy would ever be in DX. Shut up. That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard.

I agree. That would be pretty fucking stupid. It was so stupid, in fact, I never even thought of it. :wtf:

Corkscrewed 07-26-2006 01:04 PM

VINCE: I'm going to inject... a LETHAL dose of POISON into DX--

HHH: Wait, wait, didn't you say that last time? What happened... Nashie tore his legs and Scottie got drunker than an Irishman.

Don't forget "is alive."

James Steele 07-26-2006 01:28 PM

Maybe they can finally bring in Disco Inferno!

RottingFreak 07-26-2006 01:31 PM

I found this on gamefaqs, no link or anything, something about it being leaked.
That's why I think it's fake, it's still interesting nonetheless. Then again, who knows, right?

Evil Vito 07-26-2006 01:39 PM

<font color=goldenrod>To be fair I wouldn't doubt the validity of that poster. I can easily see Vince bringing nWo back.

nWo, DX, ECW, Masked Kane, Vince and Shane leading a heel stable

It's obvious he's just run out of ideas and wants it to be 1998 again.

----

If the feud goes down, it'd prolly be an elimination match at SS

Triple H, HBK, 3 new DX members
vs.
Hogan, Orton, 3 nWo members

Meh. To be fair, Hollywood Hogan is the ONLY way I can tolerate Hogan on my screen</font>

JH 07-26-2006 02:13 PM

i dont see it being a classic survivor series match
i think it's gonna be dx vs hogan & orton

James Steele 07-26-2006 02:16 PM

Maybe thats why they ripped off the nWo logo with the "rKo" shirts awhile back.

James Steele 07-26-2006 02:17 PM

No, not the greatest feud ever. Just the greatest stable feud possible. Any rehash of the Four Horsemen would be lame as none of the originals (save Ric Flair) are able to go and make even a marginally decent match with the likes of H and HBK. But In no way is the NWO/DX the greatest feud/stable feud. Just the best stable feud possible today.

I would, until I see it hosted by WWE. The poster for Vengeance, for example (The one Lara Posted, even though she linked from Wikimedia), showed up on a promo e-mail from the WWE guys. It included the WWE domain. This one's what? Photobucket? Why not just direct link?

Posters like this are almost never that simplfied, either.

I'll wait until someone can show me it from a viable source to start believing it to be true.

Mr. Nerfect 07-27-2006 08:33 PM

That post actually looks pretty awesome. Definately fake, though, especially considering Survivor Series is so far off, but I wouldn't put it past the WWE to revive the nWo.

Randy Orton would probably be the leader, bringing back his old "[rKo]" shirt. He's got that rumoured feud with Triple H coming up, so I can see him being opposed to them. Ken Doane will likely join. The WWE has high hopes for Kenny, and with The Spirit Squad breaking up, he'll need another heel role. Or a babyface one, he will be involved in the feud somehow, though.

He's pretty heavily featured in ECW at the moment, but I think Test would make a good member of the nWo. He has the past with Triple H, plus he's a decent big man. Give him back his old leather pants and you have a replacement for Kevin Nash. That's three members right there. Randy Orton would be the "Hogan" of the group, Test the "Nash" and Doane the "Hall". Throw in Johnny Nitro and Melina as the IC Title and Women's Title contenders, respectively, and have Eugene snap out of the retard gimmick, revealing he was Eric Bischoff's (who is brought back by Vince McMahon to lead the nWo) secret weapon all along. Stick Rob Conway with Nick Dinsmore, and you have yourself a tag team.

DX can have Johnny Jeter to oppose Ken Doane, Ric Flair to oppose Johnny Nitro and maybe Val Venis and Brent Albright as a tag team. The last two require explaining. Val Venis is just a fit because of his gimmick, and Brent Albright idolises Shawn Michaels, and they've already tried the Chris Benoit thing and that didn't work. If they need a younger mid-carder, I suggest Matt Striker. The guy has charisma, and he can work well. Trish Stratus should probably join so they have a female.

So yeah, my final standing for the stables is this:

D-Generation X:
1. Triple H
2. Shawn Michaels
3. Johnny Jeter
4. Ric Flair
5. Matt Striker
6. Val Venis
7. Brent Albright
8. Trish Stratus

new World order:
1. Randy Orton
2. Andrew "Test" Martin (using his real name might give it more of an nWo feel, they can also call the leaders "Randy and Andy", then, something that I can see Jim Ross doing to taunt them from commentary)
3. Ken Doane
4. Eric Bischoff
5. Johnny Nitro
6. Melina
7. Nick Dinsmore
8. Rob Conway

Okay, since you insist on being retarded, I'll explain to you what I already explained to LAra. The first image we saw was not that one either, but one of just the Vengeance Logo, with a spraypaint effect from MSPaint.

I then went on to explain that the official poster she posted was one that had actually come to us through official channels (newsletter.wwe.com), and not an imageshack/photobucket picture someone posted on GameFAQs.

In other words, I've already explained a response to this stupidity, Savior, and am a touch disappointed that you were so retarded as to feel the need to explain it (and worse than Lara).

Let's break this down again:
  • The original "claimed" poster had no picture of Cena.
  • It had no picture of Edge or anyone else
  • It was only a picture of the Veangeance Logo, with poorly spraypainted words over it.
Anyone else not bright enough to follow these subtle clues?

Xero 07-30-2006 11:25 AM

Actually, it was never touted as the official logo. Someone just made it up and threw it up on Wikipedia.

Kane Knight 07-30-2006 11:32 AM

Which one? The MSPaint one?

It was claimed to be proof of DX returning on TPWW by one of the fuckwits who posted one of the nine million DX return topics...And that was kind of the point. It was never actually official.

Savio 07-30-2006 05:02 PM

Yeah I didn't read the topic until after I posted that and didn't feel like deleting it.

You see, I wasn't sure if you were saying that it was from the source or from someone on TPWW.

RottingFreak 07-30-2006 06:19 PM

NWO facing DX could be watchable if done right. You know that though.

This being fake doesn't mean that Vince and his monkey writers won't think about it or aren't already planing it though.

Kane Knight 07-30-2006 08:20 PM

Oh, yeah. I mean, I've had a couple of RUSE REPORT predictions come true.

The fucking Ruse Report, where Batman sued WWE, Big Show has (literally) devoured, and Shannon Moore's thought of as a gir...Okay, forget that last one.

Yeah.

:shifty:

Do what, now?

darkpower 07-31-2006 05:12 AM

Wait, didn't Vince already TRY to revive the nWo in 2002, and what happened? It blew up in his face when it was revealed that Vince knew how to fuck up a good thing by making people into nWo that never made any bit of sense.

Now, assuming this is true, what would be different?

Something else I'm thinking is that they may try to make a new nWo altogether or something like that. Also, I'm thinking that they could also make a "comebacking stable" for SmackDown (remember Hogans run in 03 on SmackDown fighting McMahon and being "Mr. America"? Maybe something you want to forget, but memorable notherless), moving Hogan to SmackDown and him becoming some sort of poison delivered from RAW to fuck up SD or something like that, and Hogan slowly becomes Hollywood again, and reforms the nWo with some of the newer people (maybe Regal to start, and then maybe turn Rey heel and have him join the nWo, being up how he hated people basically calling him a "paper champion" and all).

I think, honestly think, if they were to do this, one would have to be a SmackDown stable, because I wouldn't see the WWE trying something THAT elaborate for just one brand.

Afterlife 08-01-2006 05:08 AM

Plus, it being a crossbrand battle would be sweet. I don't recall any crossbrand Stable Feuds.

That's almost as cracked out as Alienoid's scenario in which Val Venis joins DX and Eugene joins nWo.

Sorry Alienoid.

Unfortunately, there's no way they'd do it. Hogan? nWo on the B-Show? No chance.

Why "no chance"? Hogan's last real run was on SD.

That was before they started to make sure all the legends appeared on Raw. Not to mention before they started actually cherrypicking all the talent off the show.
