X-Pac appeared at last night's Raw house show...
I'm sorry if someone already posted this but I didn't see it. Apparently Sean Waltman was at last night's house show and appeared in the ring with DX after their match. DX played it off like they were surprised X-Pac was there. I don't know what this means for X-Pac but it definately proves there is a big possibility of him coming back to the WWE.

Riiiighhhttt...
|
Holy fuck he's not kidding.
http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=20198&p=1 Name your sources man. |
Sorry, I forgot to put the source but THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
|
Apparently Chris Kanyon appeared at that show, too. He jumped the rail with a sign which said "Triple H, Ask Vince Why He Fired Me" and the other side said "Shawn...Pray for My Gay Soul". Triple H then got on the mic and asked "Hey, who let Kanyon in?". Poor guy.
I'd much rather see Chris Kanyon back in the WWE than X-Pac. Security apparently didn't use too much force with Kanyon, and Triple H addressed the issue, so maybe that was scripted as well? Kanyon in the nWo? |
WTMF
Chris Kanyon out of the crowd as well? What the hell is going on here? |

Nevermind, I just clicked the link. It really wouldn't make much sense to involve Kanyon in it but I'm still thinking it's a work.

*X-Pac Heat Joke*
This shows that the WWE are 'For real' with the DX thing, I wanna see how this plays out. |
The fans were against Kanyon, but cheered Waltman? This is a dark day for professional wrestling...:nono:
Seriously, they should just have Kanyon do the same thing on RAW, and have the police escort him out as if it were real. Continue to do this for a few weeks, but don't go the whole gay route, just have him become a disgruntled former employee who sells his soul to Vince McMahon in exchange for a contract. Where is the surprise in wrestling these days? Waltman isn't a surprise. He is a douchebag. |
Calm down Alienoid. Waltman can be very usedful at this point on RAW and if WWE pushes him right, Kanyon would be a great addition.

Sean will get verbally castrated by the fans, thats what holds him back from having any shock element.
|
WHOO! KANYON!
|
Last time I saw X-Pac he was a fatty.
|
wow...lol. Must've been a weird ouse show to go see.
|
This is some interesting news. It would be good to see X-pac back, as long as he can be good in the ring like one of his last runs with TNA.
|
Kanyon back could be good too. I loved the angle they gave him just after the Invasion ppv back in 2001, where he went around saying he was the Invasion mvp.
|
I'll wager this was done to gauge fan reaction.
|
More on the Kanyon story...

OH FUCK NO I DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT LITTLE BITCH ON MY FUCKING TV SCREEN EVER AGAIN PLEASE GOD I'LL BE A GOOD BOY I PROMISE JUST DON'T LET X PRICK EVER COME BACK.
|
I figured by Survivor series it would Be team D-X vs. Team Mcmahon just didnt know who would join D-X...
|
If Waltman comes back, get him a bellboy's uniform cause all he is going to do is just carry HHH's bags.
|
Owen Hart commited suicide. I'm pretty sure he jumped off a building. That was no accident. I have a source too. I talk to Stu in my sleep.
|
You still doubting the sources, Anal Invader?
|
RP, why are you always taking shots at dead wrestlers?
|
super-duper final final warning

I thought X-pac was undercontract to WSX
|
ANYONE SAVED THE TNA CONTRACT? I would love to read it

Yeah, post it here if you have the contract.

X-Pac sucks. And Kanyon is gay...
Maybe they can play around with that. This could be interesting to see. |
the whole Kanyon thing is LOL. but seriously, Waltman? fuck him. he couldn't get over even if he killed Poochy, Rey-Rey, and Kahli.

Merch. X-pac soled ALOT of merch and was a legitimate mid card draw. Until a little before X-Factor anyway... But '98 until about 2000, that man was a bone-a-fied draw.

Let's face it, the WWE has lost the art of booking anything lower than a main event, and that's starting to dwindle now too. |

Hey canadian crippla, your rep turned green!!!
anyway, I think X-pac will be used briefly and then dumped when the DX angle (whatever it is) is done. I just don't see him being in the WWE longterm. anyway..WHO'S GOT THE FUCKING CONTRACT??? |
I called X Pac coming back a while ago.
|
X-pac could be a fina addition to the roster. D-X needs someone who can get his ass-whipped so that the ME can come and save the day.
As for Kayon, I dunno. Never been hugely over aside from teaming with DDP and he wont have him here. Can't really see anything coming of this. |

X-Pac was getting HUGE face pops 98-2000 :o

Anti-marks are funny. :) |
X-pac is like an a burger without a patty..the best part is missing..
|
X-Pac had some pretty entertaining matches, the one for me being a cage match against Jericho which brought out the best in both men. However, now he's just another washed-up wrestler who they'll bring back for three weeks of kicks before dumping again.
|
X-Pac was a very god Euro Champ, his run with Kane was awesome, and like it or not he was over if for no other reason then JR somehow convinced the WWF marks that it was Waltman who brought light quick and quazi high flying style to America.
Personally I am a fan of Pac, but I will admit that he is not a draw. He hasn't been for years. While he was a solid Euro Champ, he wasn't moving merch, and no one really gives a shit about him. His reactions from 98 era were more based off the fact that ppretty much ANYONE got some kind of response. The entire industry was over. Hell you could be talking about how over Taka was...infact I would wager Taka was more over then Pac... |
X-pac was my fav DX member, if he was back on TV he would draw me to watch TV

Initially....though once the group fell apart to be only him and Funaki and they did the "INDEED" thing...that got them over again...
|
LOL. Yeah, that was actually kind of funny.
|
What happened to Taka anyway, it seems he just kind of disappeared?
|
INDEED!
|
I love the way you guys turn on a dime.. First with cena..all I heard was how crap he was..then somone posted :"its not cool to bash Cena anymore" and the ass kissing ensued.
It is a "time honoured tradition" to make fun of X-pac...then one guy then says "nah..he wasn't so bad"..and the next thing you know closet X-pac fans are brave enough to peer out the doorway and voice their faggy opnions! |
I'm not a closet X-Pac fan, I'll be the first one to admit I like X-Pac. He may not be as good as he once was but he still helped the company out.

Don't get me wrong X-pac post 2001 was trash, but beofre that he was HUGELY OVER.
|
I have always stuck up for Pac as a personal fan, but that don't change the fact I am one of the like the only 3 dimes he draws.
And Cena is still fucking annoying. CENA BASHING IS STILL REAL TO ME DAMMIT! |

I dunno if waltman had a contract, its not common for TNA to give them out

X-Pac was NEVER a "huge draw". He was a solid wrestler who was buddies with Triple H, thus got admitted to DX as a mid-carder. He was a recogniseable and frequent cog in the machine of Attitude-era WWE , but that is all. He then tried to revive his career in TNA, but when it became apparent that he was overachieving, he decided to get lazy and fail, again.
I want to say bringing X-Pac back would be a good thing. The guy is experienced, the fans know him, and he has proven he can still go. The guy is a douche, though. He gets lazy, or he gets bored, I can't tell which. Either way, he doesn't seem to ever build momentum for himself. The guy will not add anything to the DX angle, either. He was always just a mid-carder. If you want someone to run in and make it mean something, it needs to be someone who can believeably kick ass. So the little guy's back? How does this hinder The McMahons in any way? The only angle I would be remotely interesting in if X-Pac returns is if he brought back the Light Heavyweight Championship, and then Gregory Helms joined the nWo, leading to a unification feud between the two. Apart from that, keep Sean Waltman away from my TV. The guy is too unreliable to get me excited about anything. |
Who the hell was kanyon?
|
Well... you know what they say Angle, google it. So am I correct in understanding that X-Pac was basically a lazy son of a bitch?

The matches in put on in TNA back in 2005 was some great stuff. I've always been a mark for Sean Waltman though so I am quite biased.

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...8-c909823aa631 WHY I MADE AN APPEARANCE AT A WWE HOUSE SHOW SEPT.8, 2006, TAMPA, FL You may have read or heard that I showed up at a WWE Raw house show Friday, 9-8-06, and created a "disturbance." Well, before people jump to conclusions and try to put their own spin on what and why I did what I did, I figure you might as well hear it from the horse's mouth. Part of the reason dates back to the Smackdown show taped on 2-11-03, airing on UPN 2-13-03. It was my return to national TV after many months recovering from injury as well as many months helping with the WWE's training system, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), in Louisville, KY. After so much time off TV, instead of any build up and fanfare for my return, the WWE had me dress up as a known homosexual (Boy George), come out of a large crate in the middle of the ring (a closet, so to speak), sing in a very effeminate voice ("sing like a fag" I was told by the agent/creative person assigned by Vince McMahon to me and this "storyline,"), and take a very physical, stiff beating from the Undertaker including 3 extremely brutal and UNSAFE chair shots to the small of the back and the top of the head. Now, I believe this was in response to my possible plans, at the time, to come out of the closet nationally. Prior to my comeback, I had several discussions with people within the WWE about coming out, and I am sure it got back to Vince. Instead of just telling me that he would prefer it if I didn't come out, I believe he set up this angle as a message to me. I can't say that for sure, but if it wasn't a message, it was an incredible coincidence. Following this incident I was very rarely on Smackdown or Raw, and was pretty much beaten every week until I was fired. I guess everyone can draw his/her own conclusions. Now, as recently as a few weeks ago, my goal was to return to the WWE, I guess in some ways not wanting to believe that I was really fired because I was gay. But I was curious. Several attempts to contact and talk to the WWE about a possible return went unanswered. And in trying to find out about the potential for a return, I found out from people within the WWE that my suspicions about being fired because I was gay, according to them, were correct. One person high up on the corporate side confirmed that Vince knew that I was gay and that was at least part of the reason that I was released. This person told me that Vince has said in the past, "it is my company, and I can hire and fire whoever I want for whatever reason I want." And, although morally I do not agree with that statement, in some ways I see his point and in some ways I agree with him….if it was a private company. But the WWE is a public company, and Vince's top priority should be turning a profit for his stockholders. He should not allow any of his personal animosity or prejudices towards any groups or individuals affect decisions that may affect potential profit for his stockholders. But that is just my opinion. I also heard from a high profile wrestler who was in both the WWE and WCW who said that he was aware of an agent who had also known that I was gay (it was not a well kept secret within the industry for many years), and that this agent would often talk of me being gay and he would refer to me in some circles as "that fu**ing faggot," and "that queer." This agent was often responsible for my matches (the agent is often the liaison between the wrestlers and Vince McMahon), and on several occasions, I know that he lied to Vince about things that I had said and did. I do believe that may have also been a factor in my being fired, but again, you can form your own opinions. All that brings us to Friday, September 8, 2006 in Tampa, Florida. I decided to attend the show because I was frustrated with my inability to hear from Vince McMahon on whether what I had heard was true or not. If I found out from him that it was true, I would have to move on with my life. There would be no attempted lawsuits (I really don't believe in them) and I believe I would really have no hard feelings. I would just know it was my time to move on. Everything happens for a reason, and I would take this as a sign that there are other things for me to do out there. It would give me closure to a great chapter in my life. On the other hand, if it is not true, I would like one more run. I miss wrestling in the WWE and I feel I still have something to offer. But, thus far, I have not heard from Vince. So I decided to bring 2 signs to the house show. "HHH, PLEASE ASK VINCE WHY HE REALLY FIRED ME" and since that really didn't let Vince know what I was thinking. "SHAWN PLEASE PRAY FOR MY GAY SOUL." I intentionally did not do this during the match out of respect to Shawn and HHH, since I would never want to distract from anyone's match. So, during their INTRODUCTION, I went to ringside with the signs and HHH and Shawn both came to the rope on the side I was standing and acknowledged my presence, which was a show of class by them. Shawn nodded and gave me a thumbs up, I assume meaning he would, in fact, pray for me. HHH grabbed the mic and said something, almost inaudible, I think saying, "Who invited Kanyon?" Security ushered me out of the building, although I had paid for my ticket (the nice promoter for the WWE, Bret, did get tickets for my friends, but I bought my own ticket). And that was that. Not a publicity ploy, as some will accuse. And it was definitely not an attempt to upset anyone or distract from the show (if I did that I am sorry). I do want to take this opportunity to personally apologize to WWE Security, Jimmy N. He is a great guy, always treated me well when I was with the WWE, and he does a great job. I am sorry if I upset him. In closing, I would like to say that what I did was just an attempt to get some answers so that I can move on with my life, get some closure or return to the national wrestling scene. The ball is in Vince's court. I really wish he would just let me know if I can still play the game again or not. |
